Race 7 - JUST ESSENCE CATERING JUNIOR DRIVERS MOBILE PACE
Trainer C Ferguson has informed Stewards that blood tests taken from BONNIE MEDLEY have revealed that the mare was suffering from tying up following its run at Forbury Park with this now being treated.

Race 4 - HYDE LANDSCAPING HANDICAP TROT
Trainer N Williamson has advised Stewards that following its disappointing performance at Invercargill last week blood tests were taken from SHE'S ALLTHE CRAZE with these showing no abnormalities. Mr Williamson added that it is his intention to carry on with the mare's current preparation.
Race 8 - TERRY DIXON MEMORIAL FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
Trainer N Williamson has advised Stewards that MCKENZIE MARA has recovered well since its disappointing performance at Invercargill last week with blood tests showing no abnormalities. Mr Williamson was of the opinion that a trial run earlier in the week may have flattened the mare and he is expecting an improved performance at its next start.
Race 9 - SOUTH PORT NZ LTD BLUFF CUP (HANDICAP PACE)
Trainer N Williamson has informed Stewards that subsequent to its last start performance at Invercargill last weekend, TAS MAN BROMAC has had blood tests taken together with an endoscopic examination with these showing no abnormalities. Mr Williamson added that the gelding will continue with its current preparation.

MISS BAMBOOCHA - broke after 200 metres.
NOBLE GAMBLE - hung inwards on the final bend.
SPUR ME ON GENTLY - broke after 200 metres. Trotted roughly for a short distance passing the 700 metres. Placed on the Unruly for future standing start events at the request of trainer T Robertson.
SHEEZAMONARCHY - raced greenly near the 1800 metres when leading. Hung inwards throughout the home straight. Trainer/driver N Williamson reported that the mare had trotted roughly on the final bend.
MISS COCO - trotted roughly rounding the final bend and in the home straight.
PEGASUS SUNRISE - broke at the start.
PEGASUS HANOVER - broke entering the first bend. Broke near the 350 metres.
SNOOP DOG - fractious prior to the start and proved reluctant to move forward into its allocated position. A warning was placed on the standing start record of the gelding. Broke near the 2100 metres. Trotted roughly passing the 600 metres and gave ground.
PURE EMOTION - broke after 200 metres and continued to do so for a considerable distance.

LITTLE ROCKET - broke passing the 50 metres.
I'LDOITMYWAY - broke at the start hampering the trailing EAGLE GALLEON. Broke near the 1100 metres. Broke again near the 850 metres losing its chance.
CLOVER LADY - trotted roughly near the 500 metres.
OVERCAST - trotted roughly and broke shortly after the start. Broke again entering the first bend when placed in restricted room.
DANIELLE AMORE - broke during the score up and was several lengths out of position at the dispatch.
WAR MACHINE - raced wide in the early stages. Broke near the 1800 metres. Held up in the early stages of the home straight. Authorisation of third placing being awarded to this runner was withheld until the Stewards were satisfied the colt had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations.
SPLASH COLA - hung inwards when racing wide rounding the first bend. Hung inwards when improving three-wide near the 1300 metres. Driver N Williamson reported he did not activate the removable deafeners on the mare due to having the field covered.
EAGLE GALLEON - hampered at the start. Trotted roughly near the 1800 metres after being inconvenienced by a breaking runner.
PLAYBOY'S BROTHER - broke near the 800 metres. Authorisation of fourth placing being awarded to this runner was withheld until the Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations.
DIPENDRA - trotted roughly and broke passing the 50 metres.
PYRAMID MUSTANG - hung inwards during the score up. Held up for a distance passing the 500 metres. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room over the concluding stages.

THE ARBITRATOR - paced roughly shortly after the start. Hung inwards rounding the first bend.
COUNTRY SWING - out of position at the start. Hung inwards throughout the home straight.
ZEALAND STAR - paced roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. Paced roughly on the final bend when held up for clear racing room. Hung inwards throughout the home straight.
IECHYD DA - out of position at the start. Over-raced in the early stages.
T C BUSINESS - out of position at the start. Driver N Williamson reported the gelding had lugged inwards throughout the event.
BEN WASHINGTON - out of position at the start. Raced wide in the early stages.
ROMAGNA - out of position at the start.
PRINCESS HOLLY - over-raced from the 1000 metres. Held up on the final bend and in the early stages of the home straight. Driver S Ottley reported that despite her efforts she was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
Starter Mr N Popham was spoken to advisedly regarding the speed of the mobile in the latter stages of the score up.

TOBY O'GARA - broke at the start.
JACCKA CORIN - held up rounding the final bend.
FATHERDANTHERODEOMAN - lay inwards when rounding the bends throughout.
IDEAL ART - proved fractious prior to the start. Hung inwards when placed under pressure near the 50 metres having to be straightened. Driver S Tomlinson reported that only one removable deafener had activated.
AKRIS - weakened on the final bend.
SWITZERS - broke at the start losing ground.
THUNDER BUDDY - hung outwards and weakened from the 700 metres.
ESSENCE OF EASTON - held up leaving the final bend.
The All Clear was delayed until Stewards had viewed the photo finish in relation to second placing.

IVY MAY DELIGHT - broke rounding the first bend. Paced roughly in the home straight.
LAUSANNE LASS - hung outwards in the early stages.
WHATA RAZZLE DAZZLE - hung inwards when weakening rounding the final bend striking several track markers.
MACADOR - held up rounding the final bend and in the early stages of the home straight.
FLEUR GALLEON - hung inwards in the score up. Raced wide in the early stages. Held up on the final bend.
MAGNATE MARA - raced wide in the early and middle stages until reaching the parked position near the 1200 metres.
GUNSLINGER BROMAC - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend. Held up rounding the final bend.
TILLY PATRON - raced four-wide from the 600 metres.
KEZZA'S LASS - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend. Held up leaving the final bend and for the majority of the run home.

JETENARA - weakened near the 300 metres after leading.
PAY MASTER - held up by a tiring runner on the final bend.
DON'T PASS I'M FAST - Driver K Barclay admitted a breach of Rule 869(2)(a) in that she used her whip in an excessive manner inside the final 400 metres. After viewing replays and hearing submissions on penalty the JCA imposed a suspension of Mrs Barclay's licence to drive from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 6 July 2017 (4 days.) Mrs Barclay also admitted a breach of Rule 867 in that she drove with her foot removed from the sulky footrest for some distance in the home straight. After viewing replays and hearing submissions on penalty the JCA imposed No Penalty.
PAT'S LEGACY - raced three-wide without cover from the 1200 metres and weakened on the final bend.
FRANCO HUNTINGTON - raced three-wide with cover from the 1400 metres. Paced roughly throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
ANOTHER WINDERMERE - hung inwards in the early stages. Hung inwards leaving the final bend.
HAPPY STYX - trainer/driver A Armour reported that the bit had slipped through the mare's mouth causing him considerable difficulty.

SPIRIT OF DELIGHT - Driver S Ottley admitted a breach of Rule 869(4)(6)(b)&(c) in that she shifted outwards near the 1500 metres forcing ESPECIAL and IDEAL CONQUEST to race wider on the track. After viewing replays and hearing submissions on penalty the JCA imposed a fine of $200.
TRENDY'S BAD GIRL - raced keenly in the middle stages. Held up rounding the final bend when trailing a weakening runner.
LORRETTA FRANCO - placed in restricted room entering the first bend. Hung inwards and paced roughly in the early stages. Driver M Williamson advised he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord breaking,
MAW OF A WOMAN - weakened on the final bend.
ESPECIAL - Driver M Anderson was cautioned for the manner he drove entering the first bend when placing an inside runner in restricted room.
JANUARY JONES - raced wide in the early stages.
IDEAL CONQUEST - raced wide in the early stages. Driver B Barclay advised that only one sliding blind had activated.
EVANGELINE FRANCO - held up on the final bend when trailing a weakening runner.
SPORTAGE DENARIO - hung inwards and broke passing the 175 metres.
KENNINGTON GIRL - weakened on the final bend.

OUR BUDD - broke racing into the first bend losing all chance.
KING CASSIDY - trotted roughly in the middle stages. Broke near the 150 metres.
SCARLETT LANE - broke after 100 metres losing all chance.
PYRAMID MAGIC - hung inwards leaving the final bend. Trotted roughly over the concluding stages.
JEN JACCKA - broke at the start losing all chance.
PYRAMID MONARCH - broke briefly leaving the final bend.

COMIC BOOK HERO - held up on the final bend.
AMERICAN MAGIC - raced wide in the early stages. When spoken to regarding the performance driver C Ferguson advised that after being challenged throughout the running when leading, the effort had taken its toll on the gelding.
FRANCO NIXON - trainer/driver R Swain reported that the gelding had been striking his sulky disc during the running. Stewards will speak with Mr Swain in the coming days regarding the manner he drove in the home straight.
LIKETHELOOK - raced wide in the early stages until near the 1400 metres.
SON OF BRAHMA - raced wide in the early stages. Held up on the final bend by a tiring runner and throughout the home straight. Driver T Williams reported he was not afforded the opportunity to activate the removable deafeners.
HURRICANE BANNER - raced four-wide in the early stages. Held up on the final bend.
SWAP OVER - out of position at the Candy Pole. Driver S Tomlinson was issued with a warning.
CULLENS AVENUE - held up on the final bend. Driver S Walkinshaw admitted a breach of Rule 869(2)(a) in that he used his whip in an excessive manner inside the final 400 metres. After viewing replays and hearing submissions on penalty the JCA imposed a suspension of Mr Walkinshaw's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 29 June (4 days.)
MELINA LOWE - held up on the final bend.
MY GEORGIE BOY - broke briefly near the 1300 metres and was then obliged to race three-wide thereafter.
CANARDLY REMEMBER - held up until late in the run home. Driver N Williamson reported he was not afforded the opportunity to activate the sliding blinds.
LAUGHING CAVALIER - out of position at the Candy Pole. Driver S Ottley was issued with a warning. Weakened from the 700 metres. Stewards will follow up the recovery with trainer A Armour in the coming days.

ART EXHIBIT - denied clear racing room over the concluding stages.
LEIGH MAJOR - weakened on the final bend. When spoken to regarding the performance trainer/driver B McLellan reported the mare had become poorly positioned from its outside barrier draw and had peaked on her run. Mr McLellan added that he expected LEIGH MAJOR to derive benefit from the run.
 
Race 11AON NZ / VERO INSURANCE MOBILE PACEVideo  Video 
GO GETTA - hung inwards throughout. When spoken to regarding the performance driver R McIlwrick advised the gelding had caused him considerable difficulty. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the horse with trainer B Norman in the coming days.
CAST A SHADOW - checked and broke near the 100 metres when racing between HAVINARAVUP and THE NIGHT HAWK. Stewards questioned driver S Walkinshaw (CAST A SHADOW), M Anderson (THE NIGHT HAWK) and C Ferguson (HAVINARAVUP) regarding this incident. It was established that CAST A SHADOW had been shifted wider on the track by HAVINARAVUP simultaneous to THE NIGHT HAWK hanging inwards sharply despite the efforts of driver M Anderson. A warning was placed against the racing record of THE NIGHT HAWK. Notwithstanding this Mr Ferguson was issued with a warning to exercise care when shifting ground.
THE NIGHT HAWK - hung inwards and paced roughly on the final bend and in the home straight.
PASS THE SPEIGHTS - raced wide throughout. Hung inwards late in the run home.
YOUNG CONQUEROR - raced wide in the early stages.
DELIGHT MY SOUL - held up for clear room in the home straight. Driver M Purvis reported he was not afforded the opportunity to activate the removable deafeners.
JABALI - raced wide throughout.
GROOMSMAN - raced wide in the early stages.
OSSESSIONE - raced keenly in the early stages.
HAVINARAVUP - raced wide in the early stages. Held up rounding the final bend and in the early stages of the home straight.
