General
1). The race meeting was put back 54 minutes due to a power outage disrupting Trackside's ability to service the meeting. This time was caught up during the course of the meeting with races 10 and 11 running to time.

2). Selected horses on today's programme were subjected to pre-race blood testing.

3). DUCHESS GRACE (Race 4) was re-handicapped to #8 off 10m after winning at the Forbury Park TC's meeting on the 1 June 2017.

4). Drivers Dexter Dunn, Sheree Tomlinson and Blair Orange were unable to take their drives up to race 4 due to flight disruptions. (See summary for changes)

KEZZA'S LASS - broke at the start.
BORN TO RUN - displayed poor barrier manners and was reluctant to come up into its allotted position. Broke as the start was effected settling at the rear. Had to be steadied near the 500 metres and broke for a stride when contacting the inside sulky stay of KEZZA'S LASS. Driver B Williamson and junior driver M Purvis were spoken to regarding this incident after which M Purvis was issued with a caution and advised to exercise greater judgement when similar circumstances present themselves in future. Lost both hind racing plates during the running.
SWITZERS - broke as the start was effected.
MATAI VALOUR - held up near the 300 metres when becoming awkwardly positioned behind a weakening runner.

SHEER CLASS - broke during the score up losing considerable ground and effectively all chance.
PEGASUS HANOVER - was inclined to lay outwards throughout the run home.
SPUR ME ON GENTLY - broke during the score up and was several lengths out of position at the dispatch. Broke on several occasions during the running losing its chance.
SHEEZAMONARCHY - broke during the score up and failed to settle, effectively losing its chance.
ASH - trotted roughly throughout the run home and was unable to be driven out with any vigour. Trainer/driver N Williamson reported he would make shoeing adjustments prior to the gelding's next start.
MISS BAMBOOCHA - broke during the score up and was several lengths out of position at the dispatch. Broke again negotiating the first bend losing ground.
NOVEMBER GUY - driver M Williamson reported this gelding had trotted in an uneven fashion throughout and due to this he was reluctant to activate the removable gear. Mr Williamson's reasoning for this was that in the past NOVEMBER GUY had broken when removable gear had been activated when the gelding was trotting roughly and unbalanced in its gait.
PURE EMOTION - broke near the 1800 metres. Broke near the 600 metres.
SNOOP DOG - broke shortly after the start.
AMBRO AMEIGO - broke shortly after exiting the final bend.

GET REAL - weakened from the 300 metres with driver B Williamson reporting the gelding had been challenged at various times during the running and this had taken its toll over the concluding stages.
LAUSANNE LASS - raced three wide without cover in the early stages until near the 1600 metres.
JANUARY JONES - raced three wide in the early and middle stages.
BLAZER S - had to be steadied passing the 1500 metres when awkwardly placed near the sulky of RAKE which in turn caused an inconvenience to trailing runners. Held up in the early and middle stages of the run home.
EVANGELINE FRANCO - raced wide in the middle stages.
MACADOR - had to be steadied when awkwardly placed to the outside of DAYS OF CHANGE nearing the 1200 metres.
LADY'S LASS - inconvenienced near the 1500 metres.
DAYS OF CHANGE - inconvenienced near the 1500 metres. Had to be steadied nearing the 1200 metres when commencing to race fiercely.
FLEUR GALLEON - removed from the Unruly for future mobile starts. Skied its head and had to be steadied prior to the first bend. Inconvenienced near the 1500 metres.
AZTEC KING - hung inwards during the score up and losing ground as a result and was well out of position at the dispatch. Inconvenienced near the 1500 metres. Hung on various occasions throughout the running.

LITTLE ROCKET - broke negotiating the first bend checking KING CASSIDY. Placed on the Unruly for future standing start events at the request of trainer L Pearson.
EYRE'S A RAG DOLL - broke negotiating the first bend losing its chance.
OUR BUDD - broke negotiating the first bend when leading. Hung inwards and struck several track markers near the 1900 metres. Hung inwards and trotted roughly near the 900 metres striking several track markers in consequence.
PYRAMID MUSTANG - slow to begin. Broke shortly after the start losing its chance.
SCARLETT LANE - slow to begin.
LYNETTE THE VET - weakened from the 400 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to have an elevated heart and respiratory rate.
ANOTHER DELIGHT - driver M Anderson was cautioned to ensure his whip remains within the confines of the sulky in future.
KING CASSIDY - broke negotiating the first bend when inconvenienced by a breaking runner.
SHE'S ALLTHE CRAZE - weakened from the 450 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to have an extremely high heart rate and showing signs of possibly tying up. Trainer N Williamson advised he would have blood tests taken in the coming days which Stewards will follow up.
OVERCAST - trotted roughly and commenced to tire from the 600 metres.

ANOTHER WINDERMERE - hung inwards in the score up and was slow through the early stages. Weakened over the concluding stages.
GABBY'S DELIGHT - weakened from the 500 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities. Trainer A Paisley advised he would be spelling the mare and reassessing its racing future from his stable.
FRANCO HUNTINGTON - paced roughly rounding the first bend.
TANGLED UP IN BLUE - raced wide through the early stages.
PAT'S LEGACY - inconvenienced near the 500 metres when trailing a weakening runner. Held up in the early stages of the run home.

MOMENT OF SUN - hung inwards negotiating the first bend. Broke when leading near the 850 metres causing checks to trailing runners. A warning was placed on this mare's racing manners record.
BOBBINS - inconvenienced when trailing a breaking runner near the 850 metres.
JEN JACCKA - broke at the start losing several lengths.
PYRAMID MONARCH - inconvenienced when trailing a breaking runner near the 850 metres.
GOLDEN GATE - broke when checked by a breaking runner near the 850 metres.

SIMPLY DREAMING - inclined to lay inwards through the latter stages of the run home.
CORPORATE INTENT - ran out under pressure exiting the final bend.
MATAI JETSTAR - held up in the early stages of the run home.
MAGNATE MARA - raced wide in the early stages prior to being restrained to obtain cover near the 1800 metres. Held up in the early stages of the run home.
BETTORS ATOM - held up over the concluding stages.
FLYING - raced greenly negotiating the first bend and broke briefly shortly after. A warning was placed on this filly's racing manners record.
IDEAL CONQUEST - driver B Barclay advised that only one sliding blind had activated on the filly.

DANCING IN THE DARK - raced four-wide without cover from the 600 metres.
IDEAL BREEZE - over-raced near the 1100 metres when being restrained to obtain cover.
MACHJAGGER - raced wide in the early and middle stages.
ART EXHIBIT - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the early stages of the run home.
FERN LEA - over-raced in the middle stages.
MCKENZIE MARA - raced three-wide without cover from the 600 metres and failed to finish the race off competitively. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
SEDUCE ME - raced keenly in the score up and through the early stages. Weakened on the final bend.

PASS THE SPEIGHTS - improved outwards near the 600 metres. Driver B McLellan was shown the films and warned to ensure he has a clear advantage when improving outwards in future.
MIGHTY FLYING DEAL - raced wide without cover from the 1500 metres. Forced to race three-wide from the 600 metres and weakened on the final bend.
BREAK DANCE - broke at the start.
TAS MAN BROMAC - was subjected to a post-race veterinary examination at the request of trainer/driver N Williamson who expressed disappointment at the gelding's performance. The subsequent examination revealed the gelding to have a high respiratory rate along with a poor recovery. Stewards will follow up with trainer N Williamson in the coming days.
SOVEREIGN BANNER - broke at the start.

THE BEST CHRISTIAN - slightly out of position at the dispatch. Raced three-wide without cover from the 1000 metres and weakened over the concluding stages.
SON OF BRAHMA - raced wide in the early stages. Trainer B Gray was issued a Minor Infringement Notice and fined $100 after presenting the gelding without notified gear.
