LOUD AN PROUD - over-raced middle stages before being taken forward to unsuccessfully challenge for the lead and then raced without cover, weakening inside the final 400 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. Trainer/Driver J. Stormont advised that the gelding had been contacting the sulky wheel with a hind leg causing it to over-race.
GOTTA KEEPASECRET - slow early.
SOMEWHEREINBROOKLYN - raced three wide early. Inclined to lay in throughout. Inconvenienced on the final turn by the tiring LOUD AN PROUD.

ROYAL WILLIE - shifted out final turn when leading.
THE HULK - slow early. Checked losing ground entering the first turn.
I'M JUST AWESOME - broke entering the first turn checking several runners and trailed the field. When questioned regarding the incident Trainer/Driver J. Stormont advised that although placed in restricted room that he felt the filly should not have galloped.
GRENADO - fractious when called into line and was back from position when the start was declared.
GINTARAS - checked and broke entering the first turn losing all chance.
CREAMEE - inconvenienced first turn.

BLACK CHEVRON - broke shortly after the start and settled towards the rear. A warning was placed on this gelding's mobile barrier manners.
SKY DIAMOND - over-raced middle stages when outside the leader. Gave ground final turn. Driver A. Poutama advised that he could offer no explanation for the disappointing performance other than that the colt had not been comfortable racing right handed.

BOURBON STREET - lay in and contacted a marker peg near the 900 metres.
THEMAILMAN - hampered final turn by weakening runner.
STAND SURE - raced three wide early stages. Weakened final turn.
MOONDYNE JOE - claimed by A.Lowe, T. Macfarlane, W. Ah Chee, R. Ah Chee, T. Fong and J. Gameson. Paced roughly early.
CHAL SHOCKED - no claims lodged.
DROVER'S EYRE - no claims lodged. Hung in near the 1500 metres when improving three wide and had to be corrected before improving to lead near the 1200 metres.

OKLAHOMA THUNDER - showed gate speed to lead before breaking rounding the first turn and shifted out despite the efforts of Driver R. Fensom, hampering several runners and losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on this gelding's racing manners record.
LINCOLNS DELIGHT - hampered rounding first turn.
BANNER OF ART - paced roughly early in the run home and then broke losing all chance. A warning was placed on this gelding's racing manners.
EYE LASH - hampered rounding first turn.
FLOSSY MARA - lay in during score up and then galloped losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on this mare's mobile barrier manners.

LOVELY BUNDY - Driver D. Butcher reported he did not activate the deafeners due to having the field covered.
TERESKOVA - broke near the 1700 metres, soon settled.
SHADY SADIE - raced three wide early. Lay in and contacted marker pegs on the final turn before breaking near the 200 metres losing all chance.

MADHUBALA - broke at the start losing ground.
BILLY AT SALSA - broke at the start, losing ground and galloping a distance. The authorisation of the gelding's fifth placing was withheld until it was confirmed that it complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
PLAYFUL PRIDE - raced wide early. Broke inside the 1800 metres losing ground. Weakened inside the final 400 metres.
