Trainer T Butt has advised Stewards that BUSHIDO has been treated with antibiotics following its performance at Rangiora last Sunday and will race at Forbury Park on Thursday night before being sent for a spell.

TEHORO NOVA - held up rounding the final bend.
MISS COCO - trotted roughly rounding the final bend.
TAIERI MISS - proved fractious prior to the start with the filly failing to step off its mark resulting in the trailing PURE EMOTION being checked. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts at the request of Trainer P Williamson.
NOBLE GAMBLE - hung inwards when being improved forward near the 500 metres.
PURE EMOTION - checked at the start and broke as a consequence.
NOVEMBER GUY - commenced to over-race near the 1300 metres with the gelding breaking shortly after.
SPOTS GOLD N GIRL - trotted roughly and broke near the 300 metres.
LORD ROYDON - over-raced in the early and middle stages. Stewards questioned trainer/driver M House regarding the tactics he adopted near the 450 metres when electing not to improve the gelding wider on the track to obtain clear running. Mr House explained that he had intended to improve his position passing the 600 metres however was able to obtain cover when NOBLE GAMBLE shifted outwards in front of his runner. Mr House stated that he had been reluctant to shift the gelding into a four wide position passing the 400 metres due to the horse's recent racing tractability when placed under any discernible pressure. Mr House further added that the gelding had commenced to lay inwards when placed under pressure with the whip and felt that his best option was to improve the gelding into clear racing room closer to the marker line. Stewards noted Mr House's comments.
OAK - slow through the early stages. Trotted roughly rounding the first bend losing ground.

ESSENCE OF EASTON - held up rounding the final bend until near the 200 metres.
SPOOKY - over-raced when leading in the middle stages. When spoken to regarding the improved performance Driver S Ottley advised the gelding had received an economical run throughout when leading and had derived benefit from the drop back in class.
SUNNIVUE BAD AS - paced roughly throughout. Weakened on the final bend.
WHATA RAZZLE DAZZLE - broke at the start and failed to settle for a considerable distance.
AKRIS - broke at the start.

LORRETTA FRANCO - hung outwards when placed under pressure near the 200 metres. Driver M Williamson reported he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord breaking. Stewards inspected this gear which was found to be in a satisfactory condition.
TRENDY'S BAD GIRL - held up near the 200 metres when attempting a marginal run between DEVILICIOUS and LORRETTA FRANCO, both of which shifted ground when inclined to hang.
DEVILICIOUS - hung inwards when placed under pressure near the 200 metres.
YANKEE DIVA - raced wide in the early stages before being restrained to obtain cover near the 1200 metres.
FINGER IN THE TILL - returned to the stable area with blood present in a nostril, with Junior driver M Hurrell advising that the mare had made abnormal breathing noises during the running. Stewards requested a post-race veterinary examination which confirmed the horse to be a bleeder. Stood down for the mandatory 30 days and must complete one satisfactory trial. A veterinary clearance is required prior to FINGER IN THE TILL resuming.
JAKIRA - held up rounding the final bend until near the 200 metres.
SHEEZ GOOD - raced wide over the final 800 metres. Raced greenly near the 450 metres then commenced to weaken.

PRINCE GEORGE - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Trotted roughly and raced inside the marker line briefly near the 250 metres when placed in restricted room to the inside of SCARLETT LANE.
HENGROEN - broke near the 600 metres resulting in several trailing runners being inconvenienced. Driver D Dunn reported that the gelding had trotted indifferently throughout the running.
KING KONE - inconvenienced near the 550 metres.
I'LDOITMYWAY - inconvenienced near the 550 metres and broke when being restrained.
SCARLETT LANE - Driver M Williamson was cautioned for the manner in which he shifted ground near the 250 metres which resulted in PRINCE GEORGE being placed in restricted room.

ARTICULIGHT - connections advised Stewards that it was their intention to drive the gelding with a sit if circumstances permit. The gelding was driven accordingly. Out of position at the start. Driver J Young was issued with a warning. Over-raced throughout the event.
TOP BRASS - over-raced for a distance passing the 1000 metres.
SILVER DALE - paced roughly near the 1900 metres when being restrained.
BOOSTER - over-raced in the middle stages.
 
Race 6PICK 6 STARTS NOW MOBILE PACEVideo  Video 
The red light upon the mobile inadvertently activated for a brief period as the start was effected. After speaking with Starter W Ferguson it was established that this was due to an electrical fault.
DYING TO SEE YOU - Driver M Williamson advised that only one sliding blind had activated due to the cord breaking. Stewards inspected this gear and was found to be in a satisfactory condition.
REV ME UP - hung inwards entering the first bend.
TANYA DANA - broke during the score up however recovered to retain its allocated barrier position at dispatch. When questioned regarding the performance driver S McNally could offer no explanation other than to suggest the filly may be better suited to being driven with cover.
BETTOR UNDER FIRE - paced roughly after becoming awkwardly positioned to the outside of the sulky of FLYINGMASTERWILLIAMS which had shifted outwards marginally near the 600 metres. Junior driver L McKay was shown the relevant video coverage and spoken to advisedly.
FATHERDANTHERODEOMAN - lay inwards for a distance passing the 1300 metres becoming awkwardly positioned near the sulky wheel of EASTON COASTER. Lay inwards passing the 150 metres having to be steadied when awkwardly positioned to the outside of the weakening TANYA DANA. Denied clear racing room over the concluding stages.
ROSTRIEVER VICTORY - over-raced in the middle stages.
EASTON COASTER - broke during the score up losing several lengths. Raced in restricted room rounding the first bend striking several track markers as a consequence.

MAGNETIC WATCH - broke during the score up and was back a length at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Shifted outwards near the 450 metres hampering another runner. Junior driver J Morrison was cautioned regarding the manner in which he shifted ground.
BONNIE MEDLEY - paced roughly when being eased wider near the 800 metres. Broke near the 350 metres. Trainer C Ferguson advised that he had been disappointed with the mare's performance and that it would be his intention to take blood tests in the coming days, which the Stewards will follow up on.
BUSHIDO - raced wide over the final 1000 metres. Hung inwards and paced roughly near the 200 metres. Junior driver K Butt (assisted by senior horseman J Cox) admitted a breach of Rule 869(2)(a) the particulars being that she used her whip in an excessive manner over the final 400 metres. After hearing submissions on penalty the JCA reserved their decision.
GO GETTA - late scratching at 10.28am on veterinary advice.
LEAH MAC - hampered near the 450 metres having to be steadied.
ASK ME ART - broke near the 200 metres.
MIGHTY EMPIRE - raced wide in the early stages before improving to obtain the parked position near the 1500 metres. Over-raced near the 1100 metres.

DENN NEE NOSE BEST - held up rounding the final bend and in the early stages of the home straight until near the 150 metres.
TEHORO TEASE - broke at the start and again racing into the first bend when in restricted room between OCH AYE THE NOO and CLOVER LADY which hung inwards. Trainer R Holmes advised that it was his intention to spell the filly.
PLAYBOY'S BROTHER - when questioned regarding the improved performance Trainer C McKay advised the gelding had received an economical run throughout and had derived benefit from the drop back in class.
MONIBURNS - held up in the early stages of the home straight until near the 150 metres, then again over the concluding stages.
SHEZA TRENDY MONARCH - when questioned regarding the performance driver D Dunn reported the mare had raced parked from the 1600 metres with the effort taking its toll over the concluding stages.
OCH AYE THE NOO - trotted roughly racing into the first bend and had to be steadied.
CLOVER LADY - hung inwards and broke racing into the first bend.

GERALD - weakened on the final bend.
TUAPEKA TOFF - hung inwards when over-racing in the early stages. Held up rounding the final bend and throughout the home straight.
NERVE OF STEEL - Trainer M Saunders was charged a $25 colour fee. Paced roughly and broke after 100 metres, with a warning placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
THABOYZ TOY - placed in restricted room over the concluding stages when between ALEXY and BONTZ both of which shifted ground marginally.
WAR HORSE - hung inwards when placed under pressure in the early stages of the home straight.
BONTZ - broke during the score up however recovered to retain its allotted barrier position at dispatch.

THE PERSUADER - held up throughout the home straight.
GANGNAM STYLE - raced wide in the early stages.
EL CAPITAN - paced roughly during the score up resulting in the gelding being out of position at dispatch.
SCOTLYNN JUSTIS - held up rounding the final bend and throughout the home straight.
SMOOTH MARA - forced wider on the track near the 800 metres. Junior driver M Hurrell reported that in his opinion the gelding may not have been entirely suited by the prevailing track conditions.

ATOM HANOVER - broke briefly in the score up.
CHANGE IT - over-raced in the middle stages. Weakened from the 600 metres.
JACKALACK SUE - paced roughly near the 500 metres.
ELUSIVE FLIGHT - Driver D Dunn was cautioned to ensure he maintains his barrier position until dispatch.
