The hearing of an information alleging Junior Driver R Argue used his whip excessively on GOTTA KEEPASECRET over the final stages was completed. The charge was admitted and the JCA imposed a fine of $375.00.

THE REV - broke passing the 1400 metres.
ANZAC - broke rounding the first bend.
WAY TO GO - broke at the start losing ground. Driver J. Abernethy admitted a charge under Rule 862(2) in that he permitted WAY TO GO to start from other than its correct barrier position. WAY TO GO started from position two on the second line instead of the unruly position which is no closer than five on the second line. The J.C.A. imposed a fined of $200.00.
HALLEY'S LAST - Trainer A. Holdaway was charged a Colour Fee of $25.00.
Starter F. Phelan was reprimanded in regard to the incident with WAY TO GO starting from its incorrect barrier position.
 
Race 2 PGG WRIGHTSON ALL AGE SALE JUNE 2ND 2YO MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
HAPPY PLACE - paced roughly shortly after the start. Held up rounding the final turn and in the early stages of the run home.
SHADOW CAPTAIN - over-raced in the middle stages.

ROI DES GITANS - broke approaching the 900 metres, losing its chance.
ANSE VATA - commenced to give ground passing the 600 metres, then broke near the 500 metres.
GINGER BERTHA - trotted roughly losing ground passing the 300 metres.
MAJESTIC ONE - trotted unevenly over the final stages with Driver S. Abernethy being unable to drive the mare out to full advantage.
MASS DESTRUCTION - broke near the 2100 metres and failed to settle.
GRENADO - slow to step away.
BRO FAWKES S - gave ground from inside the 500 metres.
AMANDA'S SPUR - broke at the start losing its chance.

ZADAKA - held up over the early stages of the run home.
COBRA BANNER - inclined to lay out during the running.
BETTORS POCKET - fractious early in the score up but settled quickly. Broke when improving to the lead passing the 700 metres, breaking again and losing its chance rounding the final bend. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners record.

LINCOLNS DELIGHT - paced roughly when placed in restricted room entering the final straight.
REGAL GRIN - gave ground inside the final 600 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
IDEAL DASH - Driver A. Neal was shown the video coverage of his drive in regard to when he shifted outward from three deep on the running line approaching the 250 metres, placing LINCOLNS DELIGHT in restricted room to the inside of SHANOCON. LINCOLNS DELIGHT was tiring at the time of this incident. Mr Neal was warned to exercise greater care. Driver A. Neal dropped his foot from the sulky foot rest when activating gear passing the 150 metres.
TONTO - weakened inside the final 500 metres.
LUIS ALBERTO - held up rounding the final bend.
 
Race 6 GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
TORBJORN - An Information was lodged under Rule 869(2)(a)alleging that Driver R. Brosnan used his whip excessively driving the gelding over the final stages. The charge was admitted and the JCA imposed a fine of $300.00.
GENTLEMAN SIR - broke briefly at the start adding approximately 25 metres to its handicap. The gelding was placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the trainer's request.
DJOKOVIC - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground and broke again passing the 1900 metres losing its chance.
 
Race 7 THE PAKURANGA HUNT LANDOWNERS MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
MAX PHACTOR - held up over the latter stages of the run home.
LUSTY MAC - inclined to lay in throughout the running.
BET OUT OF ELL - contacted pylons passing the 1300 metres. Held up rounding the final bend and again in the latter stages of the run home.
 
Race 8 WOODLANDS STUD MILE HIGH SERIES FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
GOTTA KEEPASECRET - held up early stages of the run home.
JANET GUTHRIE - lay in striking pylons rounding the final bend.
OPOUTAMA - held up rounding the final bend then had to shift ground outwards early in the final straight to obtain clear running.
ENVIOUS - paced roughly and galloped for a stride in the early stages losing ground.
KATE BLACK - held up throughout the final straight.

MAHEER MISTER - An information was lodged under Rule 849(2) alleging that Trainer B. Purdon (represented by S. Phelan) presented the gelding with an incorrect saddle cloth number. The J.C.A. upheld the charge and imposed a fine of $100.00.
STUNNING SHADOW - held up until near the 150 metres.
 
Race 10 SPANISH NIGHT AT ALEXANDRA PARK JUNE 9TH MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
M T POCKETS - a false start was declared when M T POCKETS broke in the score up causing interference to runners on the second line. For the re-start Driver A. Poutama elected to remain in his original barrier position. A warning was placed on the mobile barrier manners of the gelding.
CHEROKEE WARRIOR - held up throughout the final straight.
JOEMARO - claimed by T. Vince. Over-raced in the early and middle stages.
