Race 1 AAA FENCING HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
XTRA TIME - broke approaching the first bend losing ground. Broke again passing the 700 metres losing ground.
CLOVER KATE - broke briefly losing approximately three lengths rounding the first bend.
STALLBACKSKUNGEN - broke passing the 150 metres and continued in a gallop for the remainder of the race. A protest was lodged against the gelding's fourth placing on the grounds of it being in breach of Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horse Regulation. The protest was not contested and the JCA disqualified STALLBACKSKUNGEN.
 
Race 2 PAUL CLARIDGE MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
ITSOKBEINGBETTER - impeded by a tiring runner from inside the 500 metres. Held up rounding the final turn.
BURN A DEBT - weakened badly impeding trailing runners from inside the 500 metres finishing well back. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
BUGALUGS - held up final bend.
RED RIVER DASH - raced greenly veering outwards rounding the first bend. Failed to maintain contact with the field finishing well back. A post race veterinary examination revealed abrasions due to hopple rub.
GENOCIATE - a Minor Infringement Notice was lodged and a fine of $100 imposed on Trainer K Tarrant for presenting GENOCIATE without the notified sliding blinds.
BONNIE BOY - inclined to lay in throughout the journey. Raced three wide from inside the 1000 metres.
HUNTER RED - broke passing the 1300 metres losing ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners record.
 
Race 3 KEITH & MERYL GOSS MEMORIAL HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
ABOVE THE REST - gave ground quickly from the 700 metres. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
MY SKY - galloped a distance at the start losing its chance.
 
Race 4 BILL BOYD & ASSOCIATES MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
PAY ME ART - paced roughly near the 1200 metres.
RALPH ELLIOTT - over raced in the score up. Driver S Dickson was shown the video coverage of his adopted driving tactics over the initial stages of the race when crossing over at the start and racing into the first bend initially placing FRANCO LENNOX in tight quarters and then attempting to force a gap in the trail impeding PAY ME ART racing into the first bend. Mr Dickson was issued with a warning for driving in a manner likely to cause interference.
 
Race 5 OUTBACK TRADING CO. MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
ARIZONA ATOM - raced at rear three wide with cover inside the 500 metres, five wide rounding the final bend, seven wide entering the straight for the run home. An investigation was opened into the driving tactics adopted by Driver A Poutama. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
TRIXIE BROMAC - Trainer B Weaver was fined $100 for presenting the mare without the notified blinds.
SUMTHIN SPECIAL - broke racing into the first bend causing checks to trailing runners. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners record.
THIS EXCUSE IS FINE - the connections were charged a colour fee of $25. Checked by a galloping runner racing into the first bend. Badly inconvenienced by a tiring runner rounding the home bend.
ADMIRAL'S FLIGHT - Trainer E Phelan was fined $100 for presenting the gelding without the notified sliding blinds. Inconvenienced by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Improved forward mid race to a position outside the leader and weakened on the home bend inconveniencing trailing runners.
 
Race 6 CENTRAL ENERGY TRUST MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
BURNING REIGN - broke approaching the 2000 metres losing ground.
MARQUIS EYRE - broke entering the first bend settling quickly at the rear.
SAMARITAN - was slow to move out of pre-race formation and was a length out of position at the start. Broke passing the 1700 metres due to an easing of the pace losing considerable ground. Trainer J Gommans advised that he would be turning the gelding out for a spell.
 
Race 7 NEW CENTRAL HOTEL WOODVILLE MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
AMARO - checked by a galloping runner rounding the first bend. Broke for a short distance approaching the 300 metres.
IDEALAGAIN - broke rounding the first bend checking trailing runners. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners record.
JACK BATES - over-raced early and middle stages.
P TOMADO - checked by a galloping runner rounding the first bend.
HEZALUCKYGRINNER - Driver P Ferguson advised that he was unable to activate the removable deafeners as the activation cord had become entangled.
CUT THE CARDS - An Information was lodged and the JCA imposed a fine of $250 on Junior Driver R Argue in that he initially brought CUT THE CARDS to the starting gate out of position resulting in MEGATRON being disadvantaged. Mr Argue (CUT THE CARDS) approached the starting gate to the outside of MEGATRON instead of being to its inside. Driver B Towers restrained MEGATRON to allow CUT THE CARDS to shift inward to its correct position and as a result MEGATRON was two lengths out of position.
MEGATRON - two lengths out of position at the start. Checked rounding the first bend. Checked by a galloping runner and took evasive action passing the 300 metres.

COTTONWOOD - hung throughout.
GO PADDY - over raced early and middle stages.
THE COUP DE GRACE - stopped badly with 800 metres to run finishing well back. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
BETTOR HAVE COURAGE - gave ground badly with 500 metres to run. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
ITSOKBEINGBETTER - the Club's Veterinarian cleared the gelding fit to start. ITSOKBEINGBETTER was a dual acceptor and started in Race 2.
