Race 1 - LINCOLN FARMS BLOODSTOCK MOBILE PACE
The connections of REKLAW'S GEM after originally advising Stewards that the filly would be turned out for a spell have since advised that they now wish to start REKLAW'S GEM one more start this campaign. Stewards accepted this decision but advised that warnings have been placed against the filly's barrier and racing manners record.

Race 1 FRANKLIN PARK YEARLING PARADE 29 JUL MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
BOURBON STREET - held up rounding the final turn and the early stages of the run home.
DESTINED FOR HEAVEN - raced one out outside the leader and weakened over the latter stages finishing 9th, beaten 15 lengths. Following the race the mare was found to have tied up and was treated by the Club's veterinarian.
PRIME LUSTRE - weakened over the latter stages of the race.
STUNNING SHADOW - paced roughly then broke passing the 1900 metres losing ground and settled toward the rear of the field. Raced three wide from inside the 1000 metres, four wide passing the 600 metres, five wide rounding the home bend. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners record. Junior Driver N. Delany, with the assistance of Horseman B. Edwards, was spoken to advisedly in regard to the tactics he adopted over the concluding stages of the race considering the ground the gelding had lost in its early gallop. An Information was lodged alleging that Junior Driver N. Delany was in breach of Rule 869(2)(a) in that he used his whip excessively over the final stages. The charge was admitted and the J.C.A. imposed a fine of $300.
CHARLIE HARPER - weakened over the latter stages of the race.
DELIGHTFUL ART - the boring pole came adrift during the running. Junior Driver T. Lethaby advised that he had a difficult drive, following the boring pole coming adrift early in the race.
CHEROKEE WARRIOR - raced three wide without cover from inside the 1100 metres. Junior Driver D. Ferguson, when questioned as to why he shifted from a one one position to a three wide position at the 1100 metres, explained that the parked horse he was trailing (DESTINED FOR HEAVEN) had worked very hard over the early stages and he believed if he improved three wide he would be able to improve to race outside the leader. This did not eventuate leaving him three wide without cover thereafter. His explanation was noted.

JAMM KISS - inconvenienced by weakening runner rounding the home turn.
BALFAST - weakened inside the final 400 metres.

MASSIVE METRO - broke approaching the 1900 metres losing ground.
ROI DES GITANS - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground.
ANSE VATA - broke passing the 200 metres.
BONNIE HIGHLANDER - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
GRENADO - broke passing the 1400 metres losing considerable ground.
GINTARAS - checked into a gallop by a galloping runner shortly after the start.

JOHNNY WHITE - paced roughly over the early stages breaking for a couple of strides, continued to pace roughly throughout the race and broke losing its chance passing the 200 metres. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners record.
POPPY DRAYTON - held up rounding the final bend and the early stages of the run home.
 
Race 5 TEMPERZONE MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
ZADAKA - held up rounding the final bend behind a tiring runner.
MO CASINO - improved three wide to race outside the leader at the 1200 metres, weakened from inside the 400 metres, finishing 10th beaten 21.6 lengths. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
STUNIN BANNER - no claims lodged. Weakened inside the final 500 metres.
 
Race 6 DAYAVEG MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
SHANDANCE - held up throughout the run home.
RUNCLE - following contact the sulky wheel mudguard came adrift passing the 600 metres. An Information was lodged under Rule 869(4) alleging that Driver P. Ferguson drove RUNCLE in a manner that caused interference to OKLAHOMA THUNDER when shifting ground outward near the 600 metres. The J.C.A. dismissed the charge.
OKLAHOMA THUNDER - broke passing the 600 metres after the gelding's hind leg contacted the sulky wheel mudguard of RUNCLE.
JANIES GOT A GUN - Driver T. Mitchell was charged under Rule 869(2)(a) in that he used his whip excessively driving the filly over the final stages. The charge was admitted and the J.C.A. imposed a fine of $300.
LINCOLN LADY - slow to move out of pre-race formation and was back out of position at the start. Checked by the galloping OKLAHOMA THUNDER passing the 600 metres and failed to run on. Driver D. Balle advised that the filly, after receiving a check near the 600 metres, dropped the bit. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
 
Race 7 POWELL TRANSPORT MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
WALKINSHAW - momentarily placed in restricted room approaching the 200 metres.
ROBBIE BURNS - inclined to lay out rounding the home bend, momentarily shifting out which contributed to WALKINSHAW being placed in restricted room approaching the 200 metres.
MAXIM - Driver K. Marshall was warned to exercise greater care when activating gear approaching the 200 metres when he allowed the gelding to shift ground inward placing WALKINSHAW in restricted room.
 
Race 8 PRIMOR PRODUCE HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
REGAL LOVE - weakened over the latter stages of the race finishing well back.
SHADY SADIE - fractious prior to the start before stepping away cleanly from a position wider on the track.
DJOKOVIC - broke for a stride shortly after the start.
GENTLEMAN SIR - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
IL PIRATA - a Minor Infringement Notice was issued and a $100 fine was imposed on Trainer R. Paynter for presenting the gelding with an incorrect saddle cloth number.
COMMANDER PARIS - inconvenienced briefly after the start. Broke passing the 1900 metres mixing its gait and losing ground.
THE ALMIGHTY JOHNSON - veered inwards at the start inconveniencing COMMANDER PARIS momentarily.
REALMEIN - stood on the mark losing ground and then broke shortly after the start.

MORTICIAN - broke at the start losing ground.
A GLASS OF TANQUERAY - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
BILLY AT SALSA - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
HALLEY'S LAST - inconvenienced approaching the 300 metres by a runner laying in on its outside.
THIS SKY ROX - lay in rounding the final bend inconveniencing HALLEY'S LAST racing to its inside passing the 300 metres.
IZINTHEZONE - broke at the start recovering quickly then locked sulky wheels with the galloping LOVE STRUCK ROMEO, breaking again losing ground.
LOVE STRUCK ROMEO - broke at the start veering inwards and locking wheels with IZINTHEZONE, continued on in a gallop losing considerable ground.

A LISTER - when questioned regarding the performance, Driver A. Herlihy advised Stewards that he was disappointed with the filly's performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
SEA OF GOLD - broke at the start losing ground and settled at the rear. A final warning was recorded against the filly's mobile barrier manners. Improved from the rear three wide middle stages to race outside the leader and weakened out inside the 300 metres.
ART WORK - paced roughly entering the straight for the run home.
SHANOCON - held up rounding the final bend.
