Race 1 LEVIN WOOLS MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
ALTA ROULETTE - paced roughly shortly after the start and then broke before shifting out checking trailing runners. Gave ground from the 500 metres to finish at the rear. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed a poor recovery. Trainer/Driver B Mangos advised that the gelding would be turned out for a spell and would be trialling prior to resuming. A warning was placed against the gelding's mobile barrier manners.
GLENDENE - the near fore hopple carrier broke during the running. This gear was inspected and found to be in satisfactory condition with no further action being necessary.
BETTER THAN MOST - inconvenienced entering the first turn.
ITSOKBEINGBETTER - inconvenienced entering the first turn.
GO PADDY - back a length at dispatch. Driver A Pyers was cautioned to have his mare in position as required.
RAINBOW WIRI - checked and broke when entering the first turn and then settled at the rear.
COTTONWOOD - removed from unruly for future mobiles.

MORTICIAN - broke near the 2100 metres losing ground before settling.
AMABEDE - slow to begin. Tired final stages.
THE REV - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Broke again passing the 800 metres.
PEEP O DAY - tired final stages.
LUNDQVIST - broke approaching the 650 metres losing all chance.
 
Race 3 ACCOMMODATION GATEWAY MOTEL MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
RUEBE STAR - obtained a run to the inside of BONNIE BOY (leader) approaching the 500 metres before being checked when that runner shifted ground inwards and contacted RUEBE STAR's off hind leg. Broke near the 400 metres when racing over marker pegs to the inside of BONNIE BOY. Broke briefly at the 300 metres.
OCTOBER RUSH - tired final stages.
MOSSDALE NIGEL - broke near the 1750 losing considerable ground. This gelding was subsequently stood down until it trials satisfactorily.
BONNIE BOY - lay in on the bends when leading. Driver S Abernethy was charged under Rule 869(4) on the grounds that he drove in a manner which caused interference to RUEBE STAR near the 500 metres. The JCA upheld the charge and imposed a fine of $250.00. Lay in badly leaving the back straight the last time. A warning was placed against the colt's racing manners.
WYNBERG DELIGHT - broke late in the score up and almost fell and was retired from the event. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on this gelding's mobile barrier manners.
BURN A DEBT - broke in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed against the mare's mobile barrier manners.
 
Race 4 CONNIE STEWART - BAYLEYS WAIRARAPA MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
BURNING REIGN - raced three wide early. Tired final stages.
CHARMING DESIRE - over-raced during the middle stages. Tired from the 400 metres.
KATE JACKSON - broke late in the score up losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on this mare's mobile barrier manners.
LUCKY LIS - Junior Driver R Argue was approved as a late change of Driver due to listed E Phelan being unwell. Slow to follow the mobile and was back a length at the candy pole. Tired final stages.

WAINGARO MARA - badly held up final turn by a tiring runner.
DIAMOND PRINCE - gave ground final turn.
STAND SURE - lay out at various stages.

SAMARITAN - caused a false start at the first attempt when breaking in the score up checking HOLD ALL BETS. A warning was placed against the gelding's mobile barrier manners. Junior Driver R Argue elected to retain his barrier 3 position for the restart. Tired final stages.
MYEYESADOREYA - raced three wide early.
AMARO - paced roughly passing the 400 metres and shifted wider on the track. Continued to pace roughly over final stages.
HEZALUCKYGRINNER - raced three wide early. Driver N Chilcott was cautioned for the manner in which she shifted ground near the 1500 metres.

WHALE RIDER - gave ground final turn.
EXTRA GUINNESS - Driver S Abernethy advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
TACT OLLIE - broke entering the first turn losing all chance. A warning was placed against this gelding's racing manners.

LEWY RISK - broke at the start losing considerable ground before catching the field near the 1300 metres. Tired final stages.
ELDOLAR - Junior Driver M Johnson was approved as a late driver change.
BRAINSTORMER - broke briefly at the start.
FLEETING GRIN - delayed the start when breasting the 10 metre barrier.

ACOUGARZSUN - trotted roughly approaching the 800 metres.
INSIGNIFICANT - raced three wide early. Gave ground from the 700 metres to finish at the rear. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
LITTLE BRO - broke at the start adding to its 20 metre handicap.
PRECIOUS MOMENT - late scratching at 8.42 pm on veterinary advice after getting both hind legs over the sulky crossbar when kicking out during the preliminary.
