Stable representative P Jones has informed Stewards that blood tests taken from BENICIO following its disappointing performance at Addington on 31st March have revealed no abnormalities with the gelding carrying on with its current campaign.

Race 1 JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS COFFEE AT SPECTATORS MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
OHOKA JIMMY - held up leaving the final bend.
OMAR SHARIF - held up leaving the final bend. When spoken to regarding the entire's efforts over the final stages, driver S Ottley explained she had been slightly disappointed with the performance but felt it would derive considerable benefit from the run due to being fresh up since 18 September. Trainer R Todd advised it was his intention to apply sliding blinds to the horse's gear.
CLASINA MARIA - placed in restricted room for some distance near the 150 metres with the mare racing roughly and having to be steadied in consequence.
ZIMFANDEL - hung outwards shortly after the start. Raced wide in the early stages. Began to over-race near the 2000 metres giving driver J Cox some difficulty after making an unsuccessful attempt for the front in the back straight on the first occasion. Weakened near the 300 metres.
ERROL FINN - hung inwards leaving the final bend. Trainer/driver J Curtin advised that he would be making gear changes to the gelding.
UNICO LEGEND - raced roughly passing the 400 metres and 300 metres. Held up rounding the final bend and in the early stages of the home straight. Driver R May advised the removable deafeners had not been activated. Mr May was spoken to and issued with a warning for the manner in which he shifted ground in the run home when crowding the racing room available to CLASINA MARIA.
MAC ALMIGHTY - raced wide in the early stages before being restrained to the rear of the field near the 1900 metres.

CHERRY EVANS - late scratching at 9am on Veterinary advice.
HOTDIGGETTYCULLEN - over-raced for a distance passing the 1000 metres. Held up passing the 700 metres.
KOTARE MIST - raced wide and despite the efforts of driver J Dunn was unable to be restrained. Taken forwards to reach the parked position near the 1700 metres. Raced keenly in the middle stages. Weakened from the 700 metres. When spoken to regarding the filly's performance, driver J Dunn reported it was the stable's intention to make gear changes prior to the horse resuming.
ALLISON STOKKE - held up for clear racing room over the concluding stages. Trainer/driver G Smith advised that one sliding blind had not activated.
DONEGAL CARRICKFIN - raced wide in the early stages.

COME DANCE WITH ME - had to be steadied shortly after the start when briefly placed in restricted room.
BELLE OF BROOKLYN - broke after 100 metres losing all chance. Trainer M Jones advised the filly had been striking the sulky discs and it would be his intention to change the sulky for the horse's next start.
DIVINIA BELLEZZA - hampered after 100 metres.
KOTARE ELITE - raced wide in the early stages. Broke near the 1400 metres. Broke again near the 150 metres.
A LISTER - hampered after 100 metres.
BETTER GALLEON - hung inwards on the bend near the 350 metres. Paced roughly in the home straight and had to be steadied.

XMAS JOYELLA - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the home straight.
ONE NIGHT OUT - weakened final bend.
YOUNG STRANGER - broke racing into the first bend.
FOREVERMAN - when spoken to regarding the gelding's performance, driver J Dunn explained the horse had been unsuited to improving to the lead in the middle stages and it was his intention to drive the gelding more conservatively where possible in future.
MISSANDEI - broke after 100 metres.
BRADS KENNY - broke at the start.
DESTINY JONES - broke at the start.
QUITE A MOMENT - held up final bend and in the early stages of the home straight.

LONE STAR LAD - broke in the score up losing its chance.
CASTLEREAGH - checked and broke near the 350 metres after SPRINGBANK LACHIE shifted outwards.
SPRINGBANK LACHIE - held up final bend. Driver B Williamson was charged under Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly near the 350 metres when shifting outwards checking CASTLEREAGH (S Ottley). After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from drivers B Williamson, S Ottley and Stewards, the JCA upheld the charge and suspended Mr Williamson's Horseman's Licence from the conclusion of racing on 20 April 2017 up to and including 29 April 2017 (4 days).
SUNDEES SON - trotted roughly late in the score up. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record. Trainer R Dunn advised SUNDEES SON will return to the trials prior to resuming. Trotted roughly and broke near the 150 metres.
ONE YANKEE SON - broke near the 1600 metres. After the race the gelding received Veterinary treatment for a small laceration to the right front pastern and heel.
STRESS FACTOR - broke near the 400 metres.
ONE MUSCLE HILL - raced wide without cover from the 1300 metres.
BORNTOBEASTAR - broke near the 1100 metres.

PAT'S DELIGHT - the boring pole was removed prior to the start with a rein pricker being added.
THE DEVILS OWN - over-raced passing the 1000 metres.
SPANKEM - driver M Purdon was warned for the manner in which he shifted ground inwards throughout the back straight on the final occasion applying a constant pressure to COLE PORTER which was crowded for racing room in consequence.
ALL U NEED IS FAITH - raced wide from the 800 metres. Shifted five wide from the 400 metres.
ALOKA - shifted inwards in the home straight. Driver B Orange was warned to make a better effort in future to ensure his lead runner did not occupy the passing lane.
 
Race 8 GED AND KATH TIE THE KNOT MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
BILLY BADGER - hung outwards throughout the run home. Stewards spoke with driver J Dunn as to whether he could have made a better effort to encourage his runner over the final stages. After considering his explanation and reviewing the films, Mr Dunn was reminded that it was expected he drive his runners out fully to the end of the race when in a stakes bearing position.
BEVAN'S CULLEN - held up in the early stages of the run home.
BUSTER BRADY - raced wide in the early stages. Hung inwards under pressure leaving the final bend. Crowded for a short distance near the 200 metres.
GOLDEN GODDESS - over-raced middle stages.
IDEALINDIAMONDS - the required Veterinary clearance was received. Hung outwards under pressure through the final straight.
SUPERFECTA - over-raced in the early stages. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room throughout the run home. Driver J Cox advised that because of this he had not activated the gelding's deafeners. Mr Cox was issued with a warning for the manner in which he shifted ground in the run home.
 
Race 9 BRECKON FARMS / ALL STARS RACING STABLES EASTER CUP (STAND) Video  Video 
HEAVEN ROCKS - Co-trainers M Purdon & N Rasmussen were issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for presenting HEAVEN ROCKS and CHASE THE DREAM with the incorrect saddlecloth numbers. Broke at the start. Authorisation of 1st placing being awarded was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations in the early stages.
FRANCO NELSON - hung inwards final bend and struck several pylons.
PICCADILLY PRINCESS - broke at the start.
TITAN BANNER - gave ground final bend. When spoken to regarding the performance, driver D Dunn reported he was disappointed with the effort. A post-race veterinary examination showed no obvious abnormalities. The connections advised the gelding will be sent for a spell.
CHASE THE DREAM - broke at the start.
 
Race 10 YALDHURST HOTEL MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
THE HONEY BADGER - broke at the start and lost its chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record. Raced roughly in the early stages.
MICKY GEE - raced wide throughout.
ALL STAR MAGICIAN - raced wide with cover throughout. Driver D Dunn reported the gelding had been unsuited to racing wide on a fast tempo. A post-race veterinary examination showed no obvious abnormalities.
BOOMER BAILEY - out of position at the start. Driver G Telfer was issued with a warning. Briefly held up entering the final straight.
ALL ABOUT HENRY - raced fiercely when being restrained near the 1500 metres to assume a covered position. Continued to over-race throughout and compounded inside the final 600 metres.
FRANCO TAI - weakened final bend. Stewards spoken with driver and co-trainer T Chmiel regarding the gelding's performance. Mr Chmiel explained he had been disappointed with his efforts and felt he may have been better served by having an additional trial prior to resuming. A post-race veterinary examination showed no obvious abnormalities.
 
Race 11 BLUE STAR TAXIS MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
PIRATE BAY - the required Veterinary clearance was received. Over-raced when leading in the middle stages.
KATIES NIGHTMARE - paced roughly in the early stages and had to be steadied. Shifted outwards near the 600 metres and locked wheels with the rapidly improving MALIK. Stewards spoke with driver R Close regarding the manner he shifted ground at this time and after considering his explanation advised him it was expected in future he show greater care when attempting to ease other runners wider.
HASHTAG - raced wide in the early stages before being restrained towards the rear of the field. Hampered near the 350 metres.
DAYLIGHT ROBBERY - fractious throughout the score up.
SCOOB OPERATOR - raced wide in the early stages. Hung inwards near the 400 metres hampering inside runner. Checked near the 300 metres.
LOCKED OUT OF HEAVEN - weakened passing the 500 metres. Crowded near the 400 metres when positioned between SCOOB OPERATOR and FORTUNE TILLER which both shifted ground. Had to be further steadied near the 300 metres when placed to the outside of MYBOYLOLLIEPOP which shifted outwards.
BETTOR THAN THAT - hampered near the 350 metres.
SMOOTH N EASY - checked and broke near the 600 metres.
BUSHIDO - checked near the 600 metres losing ground.
FORTUNE TILLER - Driver J Young will be spoken to in the coming days regarding the manner she shifted outwards near the 400 metres.
TUPELO MISSISSIPPI - a false start was declared when the mare kicked out in the score up causing sulky damage and checking trailing runners. Late scratched by Order of Stewards when this change would cause an unreasonable delay. The connections were advised the mare was stood down pending a satisfactory mobile trial.
MALIK - locked wheels near the 600 metres and was checked losing its chance.
