Race 1 WINTON WORKOUTS COMMITTEE TROT Video  Video 
PEGASUS HANOVER - broke near the 1600 metres.
WAR ADMIRAL - broke near the 1600 metres. Broke again near the 500 metres.
ALLAN GALLEON - trotted roughly when negotiating the final bend, then broke near the 600 metres.
PURE EMOTION - broke at the start. This mare will now be drawn Unruly for future standing start events at the request of trainer S Lock.
GIRLZ N BOYZ - trotted roughly through the early stages of the run home.
THE POWER BROKER - broke near the 1600 metres.
KIWI CRUSHER - cleared from the Unruly for its future starts.
SNOOP DOG - displayed poor barrier manners at the start. Broke near the 1600 metres.
MR TASSLE - displayed poor manners when addressing the barrier. Stood on the mark as the start was effected swinging backwards and taking no part in the event. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record.
AMBRO AMEIGO - trotted roughly through the early stages before breaking approaching the first bend.
NOTTINGHAM K TWO - improved to the inside of runners near the 1350 metres. Authorisation of third placing being awarded to this runner was withheld until Stewards had viewed all available films and were satisfied that the sulky wheel of this runner had not protruded inside the marker line at this stage of the race therefore had not gained an advantage.
 
Race 2 ADVANCE AGRICULTURAL LTD MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
FINGER IN THE TILL - slightly out of position at the dispatch.
AKRIS - hung in the score up and was slightly out of position at the dispatch.
GUNSLINGER BROMAC - hung outwards and paced roughly for a distance passing the 1200 metres. Paced roughly throughout the final straight.
MANDOLIN - raced wide in the early stages.
BATTLE MAC - raced wide in the early and middle stages. Held up for racing room in the early stages of the run home.
GABBY'S DELIGHT - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer A Paisley advised he had made alterations to the mare's gear following its most recent start and that it had performed well at a recent workout which had given him confidence for a forward showing today.
HANDSOME MAC - held up rounding the final bend.
DELIGHT N GOLD - held up throughout the final straight and was unable to be fully tested by driver B Orange.
OKAINS BAY - over-raced when looking to improve rounding the final bend.
TILLY PATRON - hung inwards when negotiating the bend near the 1200 metres.

LITTLE ROCKET - broke shortly after the start.
OUR BUDD - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer/driver G McEwan advised that the gelding had benefited from having its own way in front today. Mr McEwan further added that it had helped the gelding had trotted for the entirety of the event which it had not done in its most recent starts.
MON ARCHIE WAY - slow through the early stages. Slightly inconvenienced by a breaking runner shortly after the start.
SCARLETT LANE - broke at the start. Placed on the Unruly for future standing start events at the request of trainer S Lock.
EYRE'S A RAG DOLL - broke at the start.
KO WRECTED - broke shortly after the start and failed to settle for a considerable distance.
LARCH - inclined to lay inwards throughout the run home.
TAKENOPRISONERS - hung inwards when rounding the bends throughout. Trotted roughly near the 400 metres, then broke near the 300 metres. Driver N Williamson was cautioned regarding his use of the whip on a runner out of contention. Mr Williamson advised it was his intention to have his personal veterinarian examine the gelding in the coming days and undertook to advise the Stewards of any findings.

MAN I'M GOOD - held up in the early stages of the run home.
SIMPLE PLEASURE - slightly out of position at the dispatch despite the efforts of driver A Suddaby. Raced keenly when being restrained shortly after the start. Sustained a punctured sulky tyre when tiring shortly after entering the home straight.
DISSOLUTION - held up through the early stages of the run home. Became awkwardly placed to the back of SIMPLE PLEASURE which was tiring nearing the 200 metres, making contact with the outside sulky wheel of that runner. Driver J Cox was cautioned for the manner he drove at this stage of the race.

BOOM TIME - paced roughly prior to the Candy Pole being slightly out of position at this point. Driver R Swain admitted used his whip excessively in the final 400 metres with the JCA suspending his horseman's licence to drive from the conclusion of racing today up to and including the Forbury Park Trotting Club meeting on the 20th April.(2 days)
FINAL EXCUSE - paced roughly near the 1750 metres.
MASON BUOY - hung outwards when negotiating the first bend. Inconvenienced by a breaking runner near the 1200 metres.
BASHFUL GIRL - inconvenienced by a breaking runner near the 1200 metres.
PATANJALI - inconvenienced by a breaking runner near the 1200 metres. Inside sulky disc broke when contacted by ARTICULATE exiting the final bend.
ARTICULATE - shifted CHAMPAGNE BROMAC wider on the track passing the 1050 metres. Driver B Rae admitted breaching the Push Out Rule at this stage of the race with the JCA suspending Ms Rae's Horsewoman's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including the 23rd April 2017 (1 day) additionally to imposing a fine of $100.00. Shifted outwards exiting the final bend making contact with the sulky wheel disc of PATANJALI and had to be steadied.
DELIGHTFUL DANI - inconvenienced by a breaking runner near the 1200 metres. Inclined to lay inwards throughout the run home.
ELVA JACCKA - broke in the score up then paced roughly through the early stages. Broke near the 1200 metres when becoming awkwardly positioned to the back of PATANJALI. A warning was placed on this filly's racing manners. Trainer B Gray advised that he would be making gear changes and returning the filly to the workouts prior to resuming.
CHAMPAGNE BROMAC - eased wider on the track by ARTICULATE (B Rae) near the 1050 metres. Inconvenienced by a breaking runner near the 1200 metres.
BETTY BOO - inconvenienced by a breaking runner near the 1200 metres. Weakened from the 500 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to have an elevated heart rate and to be showing signs of tying up with a recommendation that further veterinary tests be conducted in the coming days. BETTY BOO was subsequently stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to racing next.

PAT'S LEGACY - paced roughly near the 400 metres. Held up rounding the final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
PEGASUS MERRILY - held up rounding the final bend and in the early stages of the run home until near the 200 metres.

DIPENDRA - broke passing the 1600 metres.
SIN BIN - weakened from the 500 metres.
OVERCAST - locked sulky stays with PYRAMID MAGIC exiting the final bend.
SMOKEY MAC - broke shortly after the start.
BOURBON AND DRY - broke negotiating the first bend.
DARK HORSE - broke nearing the 350 metres.
PYRAMID MAGIC - locked sulky stays with OVERCAST exiting the final bend and trotted roughly over the concluding stages.
 
Race 8 GALLAGHER ANIMAL MANAGEMENT MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
NO MORE CHANGE - locked wheels with SHE'S A FLYIN near the 100 metres.
SHE'S A FLYIN - locked wheels briefly with NO MORE CHANGE near the 100 metres losing momentum.
TANGLED UP IN BLUE - raced fiercely in the early stages when being restrained. Held up by a tiring runner rounding the final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
CELEBRITY EASTON - weakened rounding the final bend. Driver E Swain was cautioned in regards to his whip use when out of contention. Mr Swain advised that he would no longer be persevering with the gelding as a racing proposition from his stable.
ROCKING ROBYN - proved reluctant to leave the pre-race circle taking no part in the event. A warning was placed on the gelding barrier manners.
STEIGER - held up through the early stages of the run home.

DACHY - weakened on the final bend.
BETTOR ENFORCE - driver A Beck admitted a breach of Rule 869(2)(a) the particulars being that he used his whip in an excessive manner over the final 400 metres with the JCA imposing a fine of $300.
ROXY DALE - raced wide without cover until near the 800 metres. Held up in the early stages of the run home.
BREAK DANCE - shifted outwards abruptly when crossing the finishing line.
 
Race 10 WINTON BUSINESSES CUP (HANDICAP PACE) Video  Video 
HAVINARAVUP - held up by a tiring runner rounding the final bend.
ROYAL COUNSEL - broke at the start.
GROOMSMAN - driver P Hunter defended a breach of Rule 869(2)(a) in that he used his whip in an excessive manner over the final 400 metres. After hearing evidence from Stewards and Mr Hunter along with viewing all available films the JCA reserved their decision.
ROBS IDEAL - steadied near the 350 metres when trailing a weakening runner.
G I JOE - broke at the start.
ACOLYTE - raced wide in the early stages until near the 1400 metres. Weakened rounding the final bend.
THE BIG BOSS - broke at the start, settled, then broke again when negotiating the first bend losing its chance.
 
Race 11 NEW WORLD WINTON MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
MAGNATE MARA - training partnership G and C Lee were fined $100 after presenting the gelding without the notified removable deafeners. Improved outwards from the running line near the 1400 metres forcing the improving RAKAROVER (P Hunter) and DALI BREAD (B Barclay) wider on the track. Driver G Lee defended a breach of the Push Out Rule in that he forced another runner wider when not entitled to do so and after hearing evidence from Stewards, Stewards witness Mr P Hunter (RAKAROVER) and Mr Lee along with viewing all available films the JCA found the charge proven and fined Mr Lee the sum of $200.00
MAJOR HIPPIE - driver T Williams advised he did not activate the removable deafeners on the gelding due to having the field covered.
SHELBY BROMAC - paced roughly in the early stages.
ZEALAND STAR - improved wide from the 500 metres before weakening when placed under pressure. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities however it was reported that the gelding was making a noise during the running. Given this information the on course veterinarian stood the gelding down pending a vet clearance including the results of an endoscopic examination.
DALI BREAD - paced roughly passing the 700 metres prior to tiring. Stewards ordered a post-race veterinary examination of the gelding which revealed no clinical abnormalities. Stewards will follow the recovery up with trainer C Barron in the coming days.
 
Race 12 DRAINAGE & EXCAVATION SERVICES LTD MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
MY GEORGIE BOY - broke shortly after the start. Warning placed on mobile barrier manners.
TITANIUM - raced keenly when being restrained through the early stages.
IT AIN'T THE MONEY - held up rounding the final bend.
BONNIE JOAN - driver D Dunn advised he did not activate the removable deafeners on the filly due to having the field covered.
LIKETHELOOK - raced keenly through the middle stages. Gave ground on the final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
