PRIME LUSTRE - inclined to over race in the middle stages. Weakened inside the 500 metres.
ROMANITE - inclined to over race in the middle stages. Broke passing the 400 metres. A warning was placed on the racing manners record of this gelding.

THIS SKY ROX - under pressure at the bell and gave ground inside the last 800 metres inconveniencing trailing runners.
PRIMUS INTER PARES - Junior driver J Mackinnon advised he was unable to activate the removable deafeners as the activation cord became entangled in the gear.
SAFFRON CASTLETON - broke shortly after the start and continued in an uncontrollable manner for a distance before settling at the rear of the field. Broke again passing the 400 metres due to an easing of the pace. A final warning was issued to improve the mare's racing manners.

ZARA BROWN - over raced in the middle stages.
GOTTA KEEPASECRET - Junior Driver R Argue was shown the video coverage in regard to having a runner to his inside in tight quarters passing the 150 metres. He explained that the mare was laying out and racing erratically and this was the major factor in causing this incident. Stewards noted his explanation.
BUBBLES O'LEARY - disappointed for racing room and placed in tight quarters to the inside of GOTTA KEEPASECRET passing the 50 metres.
SHAPESHIFTER - broke for a couple of strides free of interference passing the 50 metres.
BOUTON - paced roughly shortly after the start and broke passing the 2000 metres for some distance inconveniencing trailing runners. A warning was placed on the racing manners record of this filly.
LUCY'S ARIEL - inconvenienced by a galloping runner passing the 50 metres.
ALTA MACH - pulled fiercely in the score up and over raced during the running before being improved three wide going forwards to race outside the leader at the 1500 metres.
MCLEOD'S DAUGHTER - inconvenienced by a galloping runner approaching the first bend.

FOUR STARZZZ SPECIAL - broke passing the 200 metres. The connections advised that the gelding appeared to choke and was making abnormal respiratory noises. A post race veterinary examination, including a respiratory scope, revealed no significant findings. Further veterinary examinations were recommended. The gelding was declared ineligible until such time that a veterinary clearance was provided.
DREAMY NIGHTS - held up rounding the final bend and the early stages of the run home.
RANGI RANGDU - held up rounding the final turn and inconvenienced by a breaking runner passing the 200 metres.
FATHER FRANK - help up rounding the final turn and inconvenienced by a breaking runner passing the 200 metres.
