Driver M Edmonds (MYBOYLOLLIEPOP) was warned for the manner he drove on the final bend when crowding the racing room of ASSET CONTROL.

Race 1 CHRISTCHURCH CASINO MOBILE TROT Video  Video 
A false start was declared when several second line runners were hampered through the galloping of front line horses with no changes being made to the front line.
LORD ROYDON - weakened near the 300 metres. When spoken to regarding the performance, driver D Dunn advised that the gelding had been stirred up as a result of the false start and had over-raced throughout.
REIGN ON ME - over-raced in the middle stages when positioned to the outside of the leader.
SHEER CLASS - hampered near the 1600 metres.
GEENA'S GIRL - broke in the first score up. Broke near the 1400 metres. Broke again near the 100 metres.
JAW D NANCY - broke in the first score up. Raced keenly in the middle stages. Held up on the final bend and broke when being restrained. Sustained a punctured sulky tyre during the running. Stewards will speak with driver A Edmonds regarding the manner she drove racing into the first bend.
THEODOSIA - broke on the first bend near the 1600 metres. Again broke on the bend near the 900 metres.
GALLEONS GLORY - broke in the first score up.
BONNIE HIGHLANDER - checked and broke racing into the first bend losing its chance.
ONE OVER DA STARS - hampered near the 1600 metres. Broke near the 1450 metres. Trotted roughly throughout the final straight and was not able to be fully extended by driver S McNally with the filly's deafeners not being activated.
CRUSHER COLLINS - held up on the final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
 
Race 2 SUPPORT THE SWAMP, THEY SUPPORT HARNESS RACING MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
CRYSTAL SLIPPER - the murphy blind was removed prior to the start. Hung inwards first bend and struck pylons.
SUPREME BANNER - over-raced throughout when in the parked position. Shifted outwards passing the 100 metres. Driver T Williams advised he would be recommending gear changes.
BLACK ART - hampered near the 100 metres.
KAMWOOD KID - locked wheels racing into the first bend. Held up final bend.
HANNAH EXTREME - over-raced in the middle stages. Hung outwards under pressure and weakened near the 400 metres. Stewards questioned driver J Curtin regarding the tactics he adopted passing the 1200 metres when attempting to improve his position. Mr Curtin explained that the mare had been racing fiercely and was of the opinion that she may choke down. He added that once he had shifted to a three wide position the parked SUPREME BANNER had commenced to race fiercely leaving him with little option but to see out the race in a three wide position.
JOE BATTERS - driver B McLellan was spoken to regarding the correct unruly barrier position. Paced roughly near the 1050 metres. Held up final bend and for the majority of the run home. Paced roughly for several strides after making contact with the sulky wheel of SUPREME BANNER passing the 100 metres.
PLAYINGINTHESHADOWS - locked wheels racing into the first bend. Broke on the bend near the 900 metres.
 
Race 3 BRECKON FARMS 2YO MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
A LISTER - over-raced in the early stages with driver J Cox having some difficulty surrendering the lead to the improving ALTA SHELBY.
PAT'S DELIGHT - over-raced near the 1200 metres. Paced roughly passing the 700 metres. Held up final bend.
THE DEVILS OWN - driver T Williams reported he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
ALTA SHELBY - placed in restricted room for a short distance near the 300 metres when under pressure and as a result contacted track markers.
TUAPEKA TRICK - trainer R Dunn was fined $50 after being late to notify that the colt would racing with sliding blinds. Hung outwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. Hung outwards in the early stages.
MAJOR LUCKY - hung outwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. Raced keenly in the middle stages and raced greenly near the 1000 metres when awkwardly positioned close to the sulky of PAT'S DELIGHT. Hung inwards in the early and middle stages of the home straight.
MAJOR SHARD - out of position at the start. Driver M Neilson was issued with a warning. Hung inwards leaving the final bend. Driver M Neilson was warned to exercise care when shifting ground near the 300 metres.
 
Race 4 IRT - INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORT OF HORSES MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
CRACKAMOA - hung inwards final bend and struck several pylons. Driver J Dunn was issued with a warning.
HAPPY STYX - broke in the score up however was able to recover its rightful position by the start point. Weakened final bend.
SCARLETT BANNER - when spoken to regarding the performance, trainer/driver G Smith explained the mare had been unsuited to having to work wide at this stage of its preparation and anticipated she would derive considerable benefit from the run.
SHINEONUCRAZYDIAMOND - hung inwards shortly after the start. Held up throughout the run home and had to be heavily restrained near the 100 metres when in restricted room.
BURN OFF - raced wide rounding the first bend. Over-raced in the middle stages.
BETTOR TO BE TRICKY - held up in the early stages of the home straight.
SPARKLING DELIGHT - raced wide until near the 1100 metres when taken forwards to race outside the leader. Held up early and middle stages of the run home.
 
Race 5 PEEK EXHIBITION MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
STAR FANTASY - paced roughly at the start. Hung inwards on the bend near the 1600 metres and lost ground. Compounded from this point onwards and was not persevered with for the final 1000 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a respiratory ailment and a veterinary clearance including a scope is required prior to resuming. Stable representative J Dunn advised the gelding will not be persevered with from their stable.
GUNPOWDER - Stewards questioned driver L Lester (assisted by trainer B Hutton) regarding the tactics she adopted in the middle stages when electing to urge her runner near the 1200 metres in an attempt to maintain the lead despite the considerable effort her runner had expended in the early stages when taking up a forwards position. Miss Lester explained that she had been instructed to maintain the lead and was prepared to surrender that position to the improving RR SAND DOLLAR but felt it in her best interests to make that horse work for some distance in an attempt to blunt its finishing burst. Trainer B Hutton confirmed the instructions had been issued. After considering the matter, Stewards advised Miss Lester that after the amount of work the horse had done in the early stages she had erred by resisting the challenge of RR SAND DOLLAR for such a sustained time near the 1200 metres and was cautioned for her lack of judgement.
CLIVE - improved wide from the 1500 metres.
EMILY BLUNT - held up on the final bend and had to shift wider.
LINTON SHARD - out of position at the candy pole. Driver M Anderson was issued with a warning. Shifted inwards under pressure on the final bend and contacted several track markers. Driver M Anderson was warned to make a greater effort to avoid striking track markers.
FLAMBOYANT - hampered passing the 1300 metres by tiring runner.
 
Race 6 FAHEY FENCE HIRE HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
ALL LIT UP - hung inwards final bend.
DOCTOR BONES - broke at the start.
MISSANDEI - broke at the start losing all chance.
JAYCEEKAY - broke at the start. Hampered near the 900 metres.
GEE UP NEDDY - hung inwards final bend.
DESTINY JONES - tangled away.
BELLES SON - broke near the 900 metres after being shifted wider on the track. Driver D Dunn reported the gelding had hung inwards causing it to break.

ART COURAGE - over-raced in the middle stages.
FORTUNE TILLER - over-raced in the middle stages. Weakened over the final stages.
SEASWIFT JOY - over-raced in the early stages when being restrained towards the rear of the field.
 
Race 8 MOVE LOGISTICS LIMITED MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
BENICIO - held up in the early stages of the home straight.
KOTARE YAEL - over-raced in the early and middle stages.
C A PENNY - hung inwards rounding the first bend and again on the final bend.
ALTA RONALDO - hung inwards in the early stages of the home straight.
 
Race 9 CROMBIE LOCKWOOD INSURANCE BROKERS MOBILE TROT Video  Video 
RUM IN THE SUN - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Broke near the 200 metres.
MEKONG PRINCESS - broke in the score up losing ground.
MENEWA - hung inwards on the final bend.
FOREVERMAN - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room over the final stages.
DUSKY EYRE - began awkwardly. Raced wide in the early stages.
ALL SETTLED DOWN - broke in the score up losing all chance. Trainer/driver G Smith advised that he would be adding a spreader to the mare's gear.
ONE NIGHT OUT - Trainer B Weaver was charged a $25 colour fee. Slow in the score up and was out of position at the start.
 
Race 10 SPECTATORS - KIDS EAT FREE ON SUNDAY MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
RAH DE RAH - crowded racing into the first bend. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the early stages of the home straight.
BELLA JONES - crowded racing into the first bend.
HARD DAYS NIGHT - hung inwards racing into the first bend crowding inside runners. Hung outwards under pressure throughout the final straight.
ROYAL JESTER - improved wide from the 1300 metres.
MY CASH - raced wide in the early stages. Raced wide from the 800 metres.
SHE'S A FLYIN - paced indifferently over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer R Todd advised he was slightly disappointed with the performance and would have blood tests taken on the mare in the coming days and notify Stewards of the results.
PORT DELIGHT - underwent a veterinary examination at the start after falling to the track and was cleared to race.
MOLLY SIMS - held up for clear racing room throughout the home straight.

RAISING HOPE - when spoken to regarding the improved performance, trainer G Payne advised that he had made a slight change to the gelding's training regime and the horse had received an economical run throughout.
SARAH KATE - broke when leading near the 200 metres losing its chance.
DEBNITA ROSE - raced roughly in the early stages.
MYBOYLOLLIEPOP - hampered near the 100 metres.
BOUND TO IMPRESS - locked wheels near the 300 metres.
JUST CHILLIN - held up final bend.
THE BEST CHRISTIAN - hung inwards and broke near the 200 metres.
GLENGARRY ROSE - hampered passing the 100 metres.
