Co-Trainer K Barron has advised Stewards that MY CASH was found to be suffering from severe dehydration following its performance at Invercargill last week which has since been treated. Mr Barron added that the mare has worked well in preparation for its run at Wyndham tomorrow.

Stable representative D Dunn has informed Stewards that CHRISTEN ME has recovered well after its run in the Invercargill Cup and will carry on with its planned preparation.

Trainer M Jones has advised Stewards that blood tests taken from BEST DEFENCE following its disappointing performance at Motukarara last Sunday revealed some abnormalities with the gelding since being treated in preparation for today's race.

WEEBEA STAR - stood on the mark losing its chance. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the request of the trainer.
COSMIC SUN - hung outwards passing the 1000 metres. Broke with 400 metres to run.
KAI TIME - broke after 150 metres checking outside runners and stumbled when in a break. Broke on several occasions thereafter. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a minor laceration on the left fore heel.
DON'T ROCK THE BOAT - held up passing the 400 metres.
PARADISE SPUR - checked and broke after 150 metres. Broke passing the 200 metres.
SPURRED BY SUCCESS - checked after 150 metres.
GEENA'S GIRL - broke at the start.
MOMENT OF KAOS - broke shortly after the start.
FIRA SUNSET - hung outwards and trotted roughly on the final bend.

LOUIS MOSS - raced wide without cover through the middle stages. Trotted roughly from the 400 metres with driver B Orange advising he elected not to activate the removable deafeners on the gelding.

LORRETTA FRANCO - over-raced middle stages. Shifted outwards passing the 200 metres before being corrected. Driver C Thornley reported that a hopple shortener had wrapped around the mare's hind leg after being activated.
MAC ALMIGHTY - raced wide without cover in the early and middle stages.
RAISING HOPE - hung outwards in the score up and was back slightly at the start.
JANUARY JONES - broke in the score up but recovered to be in position at the start. A warning was placed on the mobile barrier record of the filly. Broke with 1800 metres to run.
LOCKED OUT OF HEAVEN - junior driver K Butt, assisted by senior horseman J Cox, defended a charge under Rule 869(2)(a) which alleged she used her whip excessively in the run home. After hearing evidence and viewing the films, the JCA dismissed the charge.
SKY CITY KING - held up leaving the final bend and in the early stages of the home straight.
BOUND TO IMPRESS - raced wide in the early and middle stages.

GLENFERRIE DUSTER - tangled away. Held up on the home turn and throughout the run home. Driver T Chmiel advised he was not afforded the opportunity to activate the removable deafeners.
WAIMAC ATTACK - tangled away. Improved wide through the middle stages. When questioned regarding the gelding's performance, driver D Dunn advised he was satisfied with the performance given the horse had missed away and was forced to work during the running.
KOTARE MIST - broke at the start. Over-raced in the middle stages.
JUST BEN - broke at the start. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record.
LAURAGRACE - broke at the start hampering VOLATILE LAVRA.
BUZKIL - hung outwards in the home straight.
DIAMOND LIFE - hung inwards in the home straight.
VOLATILE LAVRA - hampered by LAURAGRACE at the start.

BURN OFF - when spoken to regarding the improved performance, driver R May advised the gelding had been unlucky at its last start and had appreciated a considerable drop in class.

SWEET MARYLOU - broke at the start. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the home straight. Hampered near the 150 metres.
OUT OF ACES - driver J Dunn reported that the gelding had hung outwards and paced roughly when attempting to utilise the passing lane.
BERAGIO - broke at the start. Raced four wide from the 800 metres.
MAGIC BLAZE - raced wide in the early stages.
MT HUTT HARRY - paced roughly and broke with 200 metres to run and failed to settle.
GLENGARRY ROSE - hung inwards and broke near the 600 metres.
MATRIKA - broke after 200 metres. Driver S Ottley reported she sustained a punctured sulky tyre during the running.

GERALD - over-raced in the middle stages.
CRACKAMOA - paced roughly in the home straight. When questioned regarding the performance, stable representative J Dunn advised the gelding had got too far back in the running and was unable to make up ground due to the quick sectionals of the race.
ISOLA BELLA - broke in the early stages when being restrained. A warning was placed on the mare's mobile barrier record. Over-raced passing the 1600 metres.
THE PERSUADER - held up in the early stages of the home straight.
CRUZY DUDE - raced wide without cover through the early stages.
HANDLEBAR HANK - over-raced in the middle stages. Paced roughly in the home straight.

AWAYOVERNIGHT - the rein pricker was removed prior to the re-start. Struck pylons late in the run home when placed in restricted room to the inside of CULLENBURN. Driver R Payne reported his chances had not been affected.
THE BROOKLYN BRAWLER - locked wheels with JOHN THE PLUMBER in the score up with a false start being declared.
JOHN THE PLUMBER - locked wheels with THE BROOKLYN BRAWLER in the score up with a false start being declared. Broke in the score up of the re-start losing considerable ground. Driver C DeFilippi reported the colt had become stirred up after the false start. Broke again passing the 200 metres. Mr DeFilippi was warned to exercise care when shifting ground passing the 200 metres after placing outside runner in tight quarters. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
CULLENBURN - raced wide in the early and middle stages. Hung inwards in the home straight placing inside runner in restricted room over the concluding stages.
FRANKIE JONES - paced roughly approaching the first bend. Paced roughly passing the 350 metres. Paced roughly near the 200 metres after being hampered when forced wider on the track.

MUSCLES GALORE - raced over pylons on the first bend after being placed in restricted room by ONE YANKEE GINGA. Held up on the final bend.
ONE YANKEE GINGA - hung inwards rounding the first bend placing MUSCLES GALORE in restricted room. Driver R Holmes reported he had difficulty activating the sliding blinds.
ENGHIEN - trotted roughly and broke with 150 metres to run.
MEKONG PRINCESS - trotted roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start.
ACE COMMANDER - late scratching at 8.23am on veterinary advice.
FIRENZE - broke racing into the first bend.
BD KHAOSAN - broke after 100 metres. Broke again with 200 metres to run.
ONE OVER DA STARS - broke with 250 metres to run.

BELLA JONES - struck pylons rounding the first bend after being placed in restricted room.
SWEET LORESS - broke in the score up and was out of position at dispatch. A warning was placed on the mobile barrier record of the mare. Held up early stages of the home straight.
ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED - shifted inwards rounding the first bend placing inside runner in restricted room. Driver R Holmes was warned to ensure sufficient room exists when shifting ground.
SANS LE SOU - held up late in the run home.
CMEEROCK - steadied passing the 800 metres when forced wider on the track losing several lengths. When spoken to regarding the performance, driver J Dunn reported the mare had become poorly positioned from a wide barrier draw and had been unable to make ground due to the fast tempo of the race. He added that CMEEROCK may not have backed up from its last start.
ULTIMATE DESIRE - raced wide and without cover in the early stages.
AMAZON LILY - held up early stages of the run home.
