ABOVE THE REST - inconvenienced by the galloping TE KOUKA SUCCESS near the 150 metres.
TE KOUKA SUCCESS - back a length at dispatch. Broke near the 150 metres losing all chance.
APOLLO - broke late in the score up and settled at the rear.
FREULE HELINA S - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Gave ground final stages.
SECRETOFTHESEA SMILE - inconvenienced in the score up when having to avoid the galloping APOLLO.

ZARA BROWN - weakened from the 400 metres.
JUDE'S GEM - lay in under pressure approaching the 50 metres.

THEMAILMAN - gave ground over the final stages.
TURBULENT FLOW - held up final turn.
THE LONE RANGER - raced three wide from inside the 1500 metres.
COULD BE GOOD - paced roughly near the 200 metres.

PEGASUS GEM - broke at the start and settled at the rear. Driver S Lawson momentarily dropped his foot from the sulky footrest approaching the 100 metres when activating gear.
PRIMUS INTER PARES - Driver S Phelan momentarily dropped his foot from the sulky footrest near the 100 metres when activating gear.
MIGHTY SUNNY - late scratching at 7.36pm on Veterinary advice after blood was detected at a nostril. A post race veterinary examination, including endoscopic examination, established that the gelding had not suffered an attack of nasal bleeding. Trainer T Mitchell was advised that a veterinary clearance would be required prior to the gelding resuming.
SHADY SADIE - broke at the start losing considerable ground.

ROYAL LINCOLN - broke shortly after the start and soon settled.

MO CASINO - raced clear in the lead early and middle stages.
CHAL SHOCKED - shifted out under pressure late in the run home when clear of other runners. Driver S Phelan was issued a warning and advised that he must make a greater effort to maintain a straight course in the run home.
LUSTY MAC - broke at the start. Had to shift ground inwards entering the final straight to obtain clear running.
BETTER B AMAZED - broke briefly shortly after the start.
THOMAS MCBRIDE - was slow to begin.
BETTOR SPIRITS - improved wide from inside the 500 metres and was unable to make any ground over the final stages.

SPARE CHANGE - lay out when racing down the back straight the final time.
AURORA BROMAC - was held up rounding the final bend having to shift ground outwards near the 250 metres in an attempt to obtain clear running. Was then further held up until near the 100 metres. Driver D Butcher momentarily dropped his foot from the sulky footrest near the 50 metres. Mr Butcher advised that he did not activate the removable deafeners.
