ZOEY'S GIFT - broke shortly after the start. Authorisation of dividends was withheld until the Stewards were satisfied the filly had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations when breaking at the start.
PRESIDENT ROYDON - lay outwards throughout the home straight.
ONE YANKEE GINGA - broke at the start.
MAJESTIC PEAK - broke briefly at the 400 metres.
PRINCE GEORGE - broke near the 350 metres. Trainer L McCormick advised he would be making alterations to the gelding's shoeing prior to its next start.
DELESTIC - Driver N Williamson viewed video coverage of the start to determine whether his runner had been afforded a fair start. After viewing the replays Mr Williamson decided not to proceed with a Protest.
THE DENNISTON ROSE - broke shortly after the start. Broke rounding the first bend losing its chance.
LA VETTE - broke shortly after the start.
PRETORIUS - weakened from the 500 metres.

SILVER DALE - Driver M Williamson reported the gelding had lost a plate during the running.
ESSENCE OF EASTON - slow through the early stages.
CAPITAL PLAN - broke and shifted outwards at the start inconveniencing other runners.
BENZ BUY - inconvenienced at the start. Raced in restricted room over the concluding stages.
SAN FERMIN - broke shortly after the start. Broke rounding the first bend losing its chance.
SELENA FRANCO - driver C Thornley reported he did not activate the removable deafeners on the mare due to having the field covered.
A SMART EXCUSE - improved wide from the 800 metres.
ASK YOURSELF - held up through the early and middle stages of the home straight.
RAZCAL ALLEY - forced to take evasive action shortly after the start to avoid a breaking runner.

VENETO - Junior horseman J Kennett with the assistance of senior horseman C Thornley admitted a breach of Rule 869(2)(a) the particulars being that he used his whip in an excessive manner in the final 400 metres. After hearing submissions on penalty the JCA suspended Mr Kennett's horseman's licence from the 8th January until the 18th January inclusive (2 days).
PAY ME VISA - propped and broke near the 700 metres losing ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
MAGNETIC WATCH - raced wide in the early and middle stages.
ALEXY - paced roughly and broke near the 200 metres.
PAT'S LEGACY - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room through the early stages of the home straight.
ZENMACH - momentarily inconvenienced near the 700 metres, then raced wide without cover for the remainder of the event.

DENN NEE NOSE BEST - broke at the start.
DUCHESS GRACE - trotted roughly and broke rounding the first bend.
GORILLA PLAYBOY - raced wide in the early stages prior to being restrained to obtain cover near the 1800 metres. Over-raced in the middle stages.
EAGLE GALLEON - broke at the start.
I'LDOITMYWAY - broke at the start. Broke near the 1800 metres. Placed on the Unruly for future standing start events at the request of trainer C Hanna.
REDWOOD INVASION - held up in the early stages of the run home.
LUCKY PAT'S SON - broke rounding the first bend and again on several occasions during the running.
YGRITTE - broke shortly after the start.
HUSTLE HILL - trotted roughly passing the 800 metres. Broke passing the 250 metres.

PORSCHE CANARDLY - over-raced in the middle stages.
MARSHAL STAR - driver D Dunn reported he did not activate the removable deafeners on the gelding due to having the field covered.
RIGHTEOUS BROTHER - hung inwards over the final 200 metres and had to be straightened.
NO MORE CHANGE - broke briefly at the start. Broke rounding the first bend when contesting a position with LIKETHELOOK.
SAGWITCH - hung inwards throughout the home straight.
TUBBY JIM - broke briefly at the start.
 
Race 6 SPEIGHTS ALE HOUSE PALMY/WOODLANDS MOTORS MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
THREE HUNDY - broke late in the score up checking second line runners and obliging a false start to be declared. Warning placed on mobile barrier record. Driver B Barclay elected to start from the outside Unruly position for the restart. Hung inwards over the final 200 metres.
SUMMER WEALTH - inconvenienced rounding the first bend and was forced to shift outwards to avoid the breaking TED CADY. Raced wide for a distance passing the 900 metres.
MANUKA VALLEY - paced roughly in the early stages. Hung outwards throughout the run home.
EVER READY - driver K Barclay reported the filly had paced roughly in the score up.
MATAI KATIE - held up in the early stages of the final straight.
TED CADY - broke rounding the first bend.
CLOCKWORK ORANGE - boring pole removed prior to the restart due to the filly becoming fractious after the false start. Struck several pylons racing into the first bend when in restricted room. Weakened over the final 600 metres and paced roughly on numerous occasions. Driver C Thornley reported the filly had failed to handle the grass track today. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
MILLIE KATE - weakened from the 500 metres.

DON'T PASS I'M FAST - broke briefly as the start was effected.
SOLENTO - broke shortly after the start losing its chance. Warning placed against racing manners record.
GRACEY LACEY - driver D O'Connell was cautioned to ensure that he maintains his barrier position until the dispatch point.
SENORITA MARGARITA - over-raced in the middle stages.
KAKA POINT CHRIS - held up through the early stages of the home straight.
AFRO DIZZY YAK - broke rounding the first bend.
 
Race 8 BREW HOUSE/RIVER ROCK ESTATE & COMBINED BUSINESSES MOB PACE Video  Video 
ELUSIVE FLIGHT - broke in the early stages of the score up however recovered to maintain its allotted barrier position. Held up for a short distance near the 250 metres.
KITURA - hung inwards throughout the home straight and near the 50 metres had to be heavily restrained when awkwardly positioned near the sulky wheel of ICE CRUSHER.
DACHY - paced roughly in the early stages.
JUST SAY GO - raced wide in the early stages until near the 1300 metres.
KAYTEEOH DENARIO - forced wider on the track near the 900 metres, then raced four wide without cover for the remainder of the event. Hung inwards passing the 100 metres and had to be straightened.
WANTED MAN - paced roughly for a short distance near the 800 metres. Held up through the early and middle stages of the run home and near the 100 metres had to be steadied when awkwardly positioned to the inside of KAYTEEOH DENARIO.
ICE CRUSHER - raced wide in the early stages.
MAN I'M GOOD - held up throughout the home straight.

GLENFERRIE CLASSIC - broke at the start.
BETTA GO FERNCO - hung outwards near the 700 metres and continued to hang outwards for some distance.
STATHAM - broke at the start. Held up in the early and middle stages of the home straight until passing the 100 metres.
PERISSA - over-raced in the middle stages.
CLIVE - broke at the start. Driver C Thornley admitted a breach of Rule 869(2)(a) the particulars being that he used his whip in an excessive manner in the final 400 metres. After hearing submissions on penalty the JCA imposed a fine of $300.
 
Race 10 TIM THE FARRIER/CARL THE CARRIER/ART THE PENSIONER HCP TROT Video  Video 
MIRI - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to start. Broke entering the first bend. Hung inwards rounding the bend near the 1500 metres before breaking shortly after.
MCLOVIN - broke after 100 metres. Checked entering the first bend. Broke near the 700 metres.
PLAYBOY'S BROTHER - broke after 100 metres. Checked entering the first bend losing its chance.
SIN BIN - checked entering the first bend when heavily contacted by an inside runner with driver B Barclay being dislodged from the sulky. Driver B Barclay was examined by the St John Paramedics and found to be uninjured in this incident. A post-race veterinary examination of SIN BIN revealed no obvious abnormalities.
ANOTHER DELIGHT - broke racing into the first bend and was unable to be restrained into its correct gait.
GRACE LIGHTNING - broke entering the first bend then hung outwards abruptly making heavy contact with the sulky of SIN BIN. Warning placed on racing manners record.
MON RICHIE - checked entering the first bend. Broke near the 1700 metres.
MOMENT OF SUN - broke passing the 300 metres.
DARK HORSE - broke shortly after the start losing its chance.
STYLISH DUKE - broke at the start.
 
Race 11 TOP LINE FENCING/INTERNATIONAL GARDEN RESCUE MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
SWEET LORESS - held up in the early stages of the home straight until near the 200 metres.
SEDUCE ME - driver M Williamson was cautioned to ensure that his sulky does not protrude inside the marker line.
LAKEISHA - raced wide for a distance from the 1500 metres prior to being improved to a leading position. When questioned regarding the performance driver R Holmes advised he was disappointed with the mares' effort but could offer no tangible explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to have symptoms of muscle-tie up.
REAL SOUTH - paced roughly in the early stages.
RICHARD LE FORT - over-raced in the middle stages. Held up in the early stages of the home straight.
QUICK NICK - held up throughout the run home.
FIRST SON - raced wide in the early stages.
RAZOR RASCAL - raced wide without cover over the final 1000 metres. The two minute strap applied on the gelding broke during the running. Stewards inspected this gear and was found to be in a satisfactory condition.
