CAITLIN'S SURPRISE - broke 150 metres after the start and trailed the field.
AMANDA'S SPUR - broke near the 250 metres losing its chance.
ITSNOWORNEVER - broke shortly after the start settling at the rear of the field.

AMERICAN PRINCESS - Driver J Dickie advised that the sliding blinds failed to activate correctly due to the release cord becoming entangled in the harness.
JUICE BROGDEN - over-raced middle stages when three back on the marker line.
QUEEN LOSTRIS - unable to maintain its position on the mobile late in the score up and was back a length at dispatch.

MOTU METEOR - paced roughly shortly after the start losing ground. Held up entering the final straight.
ON THE RANTAN - gave ground final stages.
 
Race 4 McMILLAN EQUINE FEEDS MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
BROTHER IN ARMS - broke entering the first turn and settled at the rear. A warning was placed on this gelding's racing manners.
LUIS ALBERTO - Driver S Lawson advised that he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the release cord breaking. The gear was inspected and found to be in satisfactory condition.
 
Race 5 JAMES WAIKATO TABS MOBILE TROT Video  Video 
COOL SON - a false start was declared when COOL SON broke causing interference to FORFEATHERS late in the score up. The Starter initially advised Stewards that Driver D Dunn had elected to shift to the unruly for the restart, however it was confirmed that Mr Dunn had in fact elected to retain his initial Barrier 1 position. A warning was placed on the gelding's mobile barrier record.
LOVELY BUNDY - forced four wide inside the 1000 metres.
SAINT MICHEL - broke near the 150 metres and failed to settle.
MONSEIGNEUR - gave ground final turn.
FORFEATHERS - held up for clear running until inside the 100 metres. Driver J Stormont advised that he did not activate the deafeners.
MIGHTY SUNNY - raced fiercely in the score up for the restart and broke shortly after the start. Broke passing the 200 metres losing its chance.
MR GOOD AND EVIL - held up final turn and early stages of the run home.
 
Race 6 FAIRVIEW MOTORS CAMBRIDGE MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
TOOT TOOT - had to be steadied near the 1500 metres when ROCKNROLL LEGEND shifted down to the marker pegs to trail the leader which resulted in an easing of the pace on the marker line. Was held up over the concluding stages.
WYNBERG SALLY - was held up throughout the final straight. Driver P Butcher advised that he did not activate the removable deafeners.
MARK OF INTEGRITY - the offside rein pole came partially adrift late in the run home due to the attachment ring breaking. The gear was inspected and found to be in satisfactory order.
IN FULL FLIGHT - broke late in the score up when looking to run off at the track entrance and was pulled up. A warning was placed on the gelding's mobile barrier manners record.
 
Race 7 HARCOURTS TE AWAMUTU TROTTERS FLYING STAKES (MOBILE) Video  Video 
DARYL BOKO - Driver D Dunn was cautioned for racing over the marker peg at the entrance to the passing lane early in the run home.
QUITE A MOMENT - raced three wide middle stages before crossing to race outside the leader near the 1000 metres. Inconvenienced passing the 100 metres. When questioned regarding the performance Driver M McKendry stated that the mare had over raced in the early stages before improving to race outside the leader and that he had been satisfied with its performance considering the mid-race effort.
PRIME POWER - broke at the start losing its chance.
DJOKOVIC - shifted out under pressure in the early and middle stages of the run home. Driver L Chin was cautioned for his lack of control in this incident.
PRINCE FEARLESS - raced three wide from the 1000 metres.
SUNNY RUBY - held up early in the final straight.

EASY FOR CULLEN - lay in passing the 900 metres. Gave ground final stages.
MAC THE MONEYMAKER - locked sulky stays final turn.

TURNBULLS - Co-Trainers A & L Neal were issued with a minor infringement notice and a $100 fine imposed for presenting the gelding without the notified blinds.
THE LONE RANGER - broke shortly after the start. Paced roughly near the 1100 metres losing ground. Co Trainer S Telfer was advised that the gelding would be stood down until it trials satisfactorily.
