COMMANDO ONE - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. Broke racing over the crossing near the 1500 metres losing considerable ground.
HARRY H - trotted roughly early in the score up and was back from position at dispatch.
ABOVE THE REST - was held up throughout the final straight.
MORTICIAN - S Cruickshank admitted a breach of rule 869(2)(a) in that he used his whip excessively over the concluding stages. After hearing submissions on penalty the Judicial Committee imposed a $400 fine.
AUNTY JAN - Trainer A Pyers was questioned regarding his apparent lack of vigour over the closing stages. He advised AUNTY JAN had trotted roughly near the 100 metres when doing it's best and he was reluctant to place the mare under undue pressure as he felt it may have galloped. Mr Pyers comments were noted.

SILVER BULLET - broke in the score up and settled at the rear. A warning was placed on this gelding's mobile barrier manners.
ITSOKBEINGBETTER - was held up early in the run home before having to shift ground inwards near the 50 metres to obtain clear running.

MY SKY - no claims lodged. Trotted erratically in the early stage of the score up. Shifted out approaching the 500 metres into a one off position forcing THE SCRUFF wider, then switched to a pace with Driver J Dickie being required to break the mare up to return it to it's correct gait. Broke again passing the 300 metres losing all chance.
LARCH - Driver D Butcher momentarily dropped his foot from the sulky footrest when activating gear near the 200 metres.

COLLECTION - broke in the score up but was in position prior to dispatch.
TRIXIE BROMAC - broke at the start after the near fore hopple loop broke with the mare being retired from the event. This gear was inspected and found to be in satisfactory condition with no further action deemed necessary.

CULLECT A HOLIDAY- no claims were lodged. Weakened final stages.
STARS DELIGHT - raced three wide throughout. Locked sulky stays early run home.
KATE JACKSON - raced three wide throughout. Locked sulky stays early run home.
JACK BATES - raced wide in the early stages before restraining to the rear of the field. Weakened final stages.
NERVE OF STEEL - was held up throughout the final straight.
OLIVIA'S SECRET - was held up entering the final straight.

OUR WICKLOW - broke at the start losing it's chance. A warning was placed on the mobile barrier manners of this gelding.
MR ASIA - broke shortly after the start losing it's chance. A warning was placed on the mobile barrier manners of MR ASIA.
EVERYTHING - contacted a marker peg entering the passing lane and again near the 100 metres when racing in restricted room. Junior Driver D Ferguson was issued with a caution for contacting the marker peg when entering the passing lane.
TUHERBS TWO - Junior driver T Lethaby admitted a charge under Rule 869 (2)(a) in that he used his whip excessively over the final stages, with the Judicial Committee imposing a fine of $400.
RED MAGIC - Paced roughly then broke shortly after the start losing it's chance. A warning was placed on it's barrier manners.
 
Race 7 WOODLANDS STUD TARANAKI BREEDERS STAKES (MOBILE PACE) Video  Video 
ROCKNROLL PRINCESS - raced wide rounding the first bend. Ducked in contacting two pylons rounding the final bend then raced greenly in the final straight.
SPARE CHANGE - was held for clear running until inside the final 50 metres.
SWEET MAGGIE RYAN - was held up early in the final straight.

BUBBLES O'LEARY - lay in and contacted a marker peg on final turn. Raced greenly and shifted out near the 100m.
GO PADDY - pulled hard middle stages and held up early final turn. Held up again late in the run home..
MIMOZA - inconvenienced near the 100 metres.
