Mr McKendry stated that when the pace increased appreciably racing down the back the final time that TWENTYNINE TWELVE had tended to lay in which resulted in him being unable to hold the back of TIGER TAMER as he was concerned that he had another runner to the inside and was mindful of not causing interference to that horse. He further explained that once balanced up early in the run home his gelding had then run up onto the back of placed runners without receiving any clear running.
REAL CYCLONE - broke inside the 300 metres losing its chance. A warning was placed on this mare's racing manners.
