Race 1 JOHN KEENAN MEMORIAL MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
COMIC BOOK HERO - held up over the concluding stages.
BLACK ATHENA - paced roughly over the final 350 metres and was unable to be fully tested, with driver N Williamson advising that due to this he was not afforded the opportunity to activate the removable deafeners.
JUST SAY GO - lay inwards near the 150 metres and had to be straightened.
TWITTER BROMAC - raced wide in the early stages. Paced roughly for a short distance near the 200 metres.
FIRST SON - over-raced in the middle stages. Held up rounding the final bend and for the majority of the straight.
 
Race 2 REGENT CAR COURT CLAIMERS MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
IGUAZU ROX - commenced to weaken near the 450 metres. Shifted wider near the 300 metres locking sulky wheels with another runner for a distance.
FEAR XCHANGE - held up rounding the final bend.
MATAI JETSTAR - raced greenly in the score up. Hung inwards and had to be straightened near the 250 metres.
GET REAL - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and cleared to start. Held up rounding the final bend.
VERA MAC - locked sulky wheels with another runner for a distance near the 300 metres.
DON'T PASS I'M FAST - shifted outwards near the 450 metres when awkwardly positioned behind the weakening IGUAZU ROX (B Shirley), contacting that runners sulky wheel. After reviewing video footage and questioning drivers, A Suddaby was cautioned for the manner in which he drove at this point.
There were no claims lodged for any runner in this event.
 
Race 3 FAIRBAIRN PLUMBING MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
DISSOLUTION - locked wheels with another runner briefly near the 500 metres.
BETTOR OPS - lay inwards and locked wheels with another runner briefly near the 500 metres.
SOVEREIGN BANNER - when questioned regarding the performance driver N Williamson advised that he was disappointed with the gelding's effort however could offer no tangible explanation.
EXPRESSO MARTINI - hung inwards and paced roughly entering the first bend.
 
Race 4 FAMILY FUN & FOOD MOBILE TROT Video  Video 
JANUCCI GIRL - hung outwards during the score up inconveniencing runners to its outside. Over-raced in the early and middle stages. Weakened passing the 500 metres. Trainer S Lock was issued with a Minor Infringement Notice and fined $100 after a hind bandage came adrift during the running.
HOLDON MONARCHY - inconvenienced during the score up and as a result was out of position at dispatch. Hampered near the 1650 metres.
STARLIGHTS SISTER - trotted roughly in the score up and was out of position at dispatch. Broke and shifted inwards entering the first bend hampering a trailing runner. Driver S Walkinshaw advised that he had sustained a punctured sulky tyre in this incident.
PHOEBE FLYER - steadied near the 1650 metres when awkwardly positioned behind another runner.
OUR BUDD - trotted roughly in the score up and was out of position at dispatch. Raced wide in the early stages.
LAURA BUSH - checked entering the first bend losing considerable ground and effectively all chance.
BOURBON AND DRY - over-raced in the middle stages and near the 1650 metres trotted roughly when awkwardly positioned behind DENN NEE NOSE BEST.
 
Race 5 NEXT MEETING 29TH DECEMBER MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
ROB ROY BALOU - paced roughly in the early stages and when being restrained broke briefly. Continued to pace roughly on numerous occasions throughout the event. Weakened from the 500 metres with a subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealing no clinical abnormalities.
ROCKING ROBYN - required veterinary clearance received. When questioned regarding the seemingly improved performance trainer R Wilson explained that the gelding had been inclined to race fiercely and choke down at its most recent start at Invercargill when driven with a sit. Mr Wilson added that in his opinion the gelding is better suited when driven aggressively in the early stages and attributed this to today's performance.
SHELBY BROMAC - paced roughly near the 200 metres.
KAGEE VC - out of position at dispatch despite the efforts of driver A Suddaby.
CULLENS AVENUE - inconvenienced shortly after the start. Lay inwards near the 100 metres and had to be straightened.
JIMMY NGA - when questioned regarding the performance co-trainer/driver C Lee could offer no tangible explanation other than to advise the gelding had been left flat footed when the pace increased near the 400 metres.
 
Race 6 NEVELE R STUD MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
REAL STEAL - improved wide in the early stages obtaining the parked position near the 1400 metres.
RAFFY ROO - paced roughly and broke near the 150 metres.
CHANGE IT - raced wide in the early and middle stages.
AIRHORSEONE - broke shortly after the start with a warning placed against mobile barrier record. Hung inwards and broke briefly entering the first bend when being restrained.
ARGYLE BEACH - paced roughly and broke entering the first bend. Warning placed against racing manners record. Angled outwards near the 250 metres to obtain clear running. Authorisation of dividends were withheld until the Stewards were satisfied that the filly had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations when in a break over the early stages.
BIG SMOKE - boring pole broke in the score up resulting in a false start being declared, with this being removed prior to the re-start.
SWAP OVER - held up rounding the final bend. Cleared from the unruly for future mobile starts.
 
Race 7 WINTON WORKOUTS MOBILE TROT Video  Video 
EYRE'S A RAG DOLL - hung outwards and broke nearing the 1700 metres. Driver G McEwan was cautioned to ensure that he comes up to the mobile barrier prior to reaching the Candy Pole.
OVERCAST - held up rounding the final bend until near the 200 metres. Trotted roughly in the middle stages of the straight.
FORGOT TO REMEMBER - broke in the score up and failed to settle losing considerable ground.
GRACE O'MALLEY - hung outwards through the early and middle stages.
BOBBINS - over-raced through the middle stages.
 
Race 8 MCDONALD EXCAVATING MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
NIGHTMARCH - held up rounding the final bend until near the 200 metres.
CRACKAMOA - became held up for a short distance passing the 400 metres.
MACH'S BACK - paced roughly and broke near the 500 metres. Warning placed against racing manners record.
HONEY CULLEN - inconvenienced near the 500 metres.

SOME EXCUSESOMEWHERE - driver C Barron advised that the gelding had become worked-up during the delay to the start of this event which in his opinion had proved detrimental to its chances.
JACCKA CORIN - paced roughly in the score up. Raced wide in the early stages prior to being restrained to obtain cover near the 900 metres. Paced roughly and broke approaching the 400 metres checking a trailing runner. Warning placed on racing manners record.
ROCK STOCK N BARREL - broke in the latter stages of the score up checking GRACE BURNS, with a false start being declared. Driver J Cox elected to start from the Unruly position for the restart where the filly will remain for its upcoming engagements. Paced roughly over the early stages. Checked passing the 400 metres.
ANGEL IN WHITE - raced wide in the early stages.
VARENNA - cast a front plate during the score up. Shifted wider on the track by GRACE BURNS (K Barclay) near the 500 metres resulting in driver K Larsen becoming unbalanced in the sulky. Raced wide rounding the final bend.
TAKEMETOTHEBEACH - proved fractious for the restart necessitating a further false start being declared. Warning placed against mobile barrier record.
GRACE BURNS - paced roughly over the concluding stages. Driver K Barclay was cautioned for the manner she shifted ground near the 500 metres.

MARSHAL STAR - broke approaching the first bend. Driver A Suddaby admitted a subsequent breach of Rule 869(3)(b) the particulars being that he drove carelessly when allowing his horse to shift inwards resulting in the gelding attempting to jump a pylon and break as a result, with the trailing JETSDREAM being checked. After hearing submissions on penalty the JCA imposed a fine of $300.
MR HANDLEMAN - out of position at dispatch despite the efforts of driver B McLellan. Held up through the early and middles stages of the home straight.
BREAK DANCE - lay inwards through the early and middle stages of the home straight.
JETSDREAM - checked racing into the first bend.
 
Race 11 SOUTHLAND STANDARDBRED BREEDERS FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
TOMMYS BLUE CHIP - weakened over the final 350 metres and was not persevered with thereafter. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the right foreleg, with a veterinary clearance required prior to racing next. Stewards will follow up with trainer C Barron in the coming days.
SWEET AS - paced roughly in the early stages. Paced roughly throughout the final straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed mild lameness, with a veterinary clearance required prior to racing next. Trainer A Paisley advised that SWEET AS will undergo a full lameness examination in the comings days with the results of this to be notified to the Stewards.
LADY GO CULLECT - raced wide throughout.
DACHY - raced wide through the early stages. Hung inwards for a distance passing the 600 metres.
SEASWIFT JOY - held up rounding the final bend.
