Race 2 - PEEK EXHIBITION FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
Trainer L Hanrahan has advised Stewards that TUSCANY MISS has recovered well after its disappointing debut at Addington last week. Mr Hanrahan added that after a pleasing run at the Ashburton trials this week he will continue with the mare's preparation.

Race 7 - FAT SALLY'S PUB & RESTAURANT DRIVERS SERIES MOBILE PACE
Stable representative B Orange has informed Stewards that CULLEN WHO has recovered well following its disappointing performance at Oamaru on Saturday. Mr Orange added that the mare had blown hard after the race and the stable will continue with plans for a northern campaign in coming weeks.

Race 3 - SMITH SEEDS & GLUYAS MOTORS MOBILE PACE
Trainer B White has informed Stewards that blood tests taken from SHARDS HALO following its disappointing performance at Methven on Sunday have shown some irregularities with the mare being treated in consequence. Mr White added that SHARDS HALO would return to trials or workouts before resuming.

Race 1 BRECKON FARMS MOBILE TROT Video  Video 
STAR PRIDE - momentarily tightened entering the first turn and had to be eased. Held up passing the 400 metres.
LANDORA'S LASSIE - hung in entering first turn. Lay in again on the final bend and lost ground.
ZSA ZIVA - hung in entering first turn. Broke over the final stages.
SCARLET BROMAC - broke in the score-up losing considerable ground.
SHONA MARY - broke in the score-up and shifted outwards losing its chance before being retired from the event during the middle stages.
RUTHLESS KAYLA - hampered in the score-up and as a result was a short distance back at dispatch. Junior driver T Quate was shown the replay and cautioned in relation to his lack of control when activating gear early in the run home. The all clear was delayed until such time that Stewards could review the start and were satisfied that the chances of this filly were not materially prejudiced.
LOUIS MOSS - out of position at the start.
BIG IS GOOD - back from the unruly position at the start. Lay inwards throughout the final straight
 
Race 2 BISHOPDALE/BUSH INN TABS & TAVERN HAREWOOD MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
BETTOR BACKIM - broke for a short distance racing into the first bend. Hung outwards and locked wheels briefly leaving the final bend. Amateur driver P Cook reported that he sustained a punctured sulky tyre in this incident.
STYLISH BABE - weakened from the 800 metres. A warning was placed on the mare's racing performance. Trainer J McDermott advised the horse would be given one more chance to race in a competitive manner (Sunday - Banks Peninsula) and should she again disappoint he would reconsider her racing future.
FRANCO CALIPH - raced wide and without cover in the early and middle stages.
EARTHBOUND - no claims lodged. Hung inwards under pressure leaving the final bend and briefly locked wheels.
REDMARO - hampered first bend and had to steady. Held up final bend.
EJA PATRON - was marginally back from position at the start. Broke near the 200 metres when towards the rear losing all chance.
 
Race 3 SPECIALTY SEEDS NZ/HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEPHEN FINCH MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
There was a delay to the start when TAITTINGER ROSE required attention to his gear. The start was further delayed when, whilst leaving the pre-race circle, VANHALEM stopped to void urine and could not be shifted by driver M House. The track required some attention as a result.
FRANCO TAI - hung outwards final bend and in the early stages of the run home resulting in T Chmiel being unable to take the gelding into the passing lane.
GIVEMATASTEOFKIWI - raced roughly when being restrained on the bend near the 1600 metres.
RUNAWAY STAR - forced wide on the final bend.
DONEGAL RUNDLESCREEK - raced roughly when placed under pressure passing the 50 metres.
TAITTINGER ROSE - raced roughly over the final stages.
GOING TO CALIFORNIA - held up final bend.

NO MORE CHANGE - began awkwardly and raced roughly in the early stages.
WOZNIACKI - held up late in the run home.
PRECIOUS SARA - required some gear attention causing a slight delay. Shifted up the track under pressure throughout the run home. Driver R McIlwrick was spoken to and warned to make a better effort to maintain a straight line in the run home in future.
GLENFERRIE CLASSIC - broke at the start.
 
Race 5 PRIME PANELS NZ MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
HUNTER BROMAC - was out of position at the start. Driver S Payne was issued with a warning for failing to maintain his barrier position.
ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT - unable to secure clear running over the final stages.
BAILEYS ROCK - when spoken to regarding the gelding's performance driver B Orange explained that he was disappointed with the run despite being wide from the 650 metres and added that the horse may of been unsuited to racing consecutively over the last three weeks.

LAKEISHA - shifted inwards near the 300 metres becoming poorly positioned between the pylons and the sulky of NICKY'S LOGIC which resulted in the mare breaking and losing its chance. An information was filed charging Driver R Holmes under Rule 869(3)(b) alleging he had driven carelessly by attempting to improve his horse into a run without sufficient room. This matter was adjourned until the NZMTC's meeting on Saturday 10th December.
GO DAVEY - broke immediately prior to dispatch and lost its position on the front line. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record.
LAYTONS CRUSADER - hung inwards under pressure on the final bend. When questioned in regard to his gelding's disappointing performance driver and co-trainer T Chmiel could only advise he had been disappointed with his horse's efforts. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Mr Chmiel reported he would have blood tests taken in the coming days and undertook to notify Stewards of any irregularities.
NICKY'S LOGIC - sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 300 metres.

CUDDLY JESS - broke for a short distance passing the 500 metres and again near the 400 metres losing all chance.
IDLE MONKEY - checked in the first score-up by the breaking THE GOD BOTHERER. Raced wide in the early stages.
THE GOD BOTHERER - broke in the first score-up
CRADDOCK - broke in the first score-up and shifted outwards inconveniencing ALL LIT UP with a false start being called. Driver K Butt advised she would maintain her barrier position for the restart. Broke again at restart and was out of position at dispatch. The connections were advised this horse will now be drawn unruly for mobile racing.
ENGHIEN - began to race keenly after surrendering the parked position near the 1400 metres and was then taken forward at the 1000 metres to again race in the open. Trotted roughly in the run home.
DONEGAL BETTORGRETCH - raced keenly in the score-up and early stages.
ALVIRA HEST - broke approaching the 800 metres losing its chance.
 
Race 8 CHRISTCHURCH CASINO MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
BAILEYS KNIGHT - had to be steadied approaching the 1200 metres.
HILARIOUS MAGIC - broke at the start and lost its chance. A warning was placed on the colt's barrier record.
STOMPEM - had to be steadied approaching the 1200 metres after surrendering the lead.
HIS ROYAL HARNESS - had to be steadied approaching the 1200 metres. Held up final bend.
KITURA - raced keenly when held up on the final bend. Held up over the final stages.
HAYDEN'S MEDDLE - raced wide early stages. Raced greenly near the 1200 metres after improving to the lead causing an easing of the pace to the running line. Driver R Houghton admitted a charge under Rule 869(2)(a) in that he used his whip excessively in the run home. The JCA imposed a fine of $300.
