THE C E O - Inclined to lay out and was reluctant to take the passing lane for the run home.

OUR WICKLOW - broke near the 300 metres after making marginal contact with the sulky wheel of DELIGHTFUL ZEN. An investigation established that Driver D Butcher shifted DELIGHTFUL ZEN inward from a three wide to a two wide position and at the same time OUR WICKLOW was improving forward with Driver S Phelan activating gear and applying the whip. After reviewing the evidence and taking into account the racing manners of OUR WICKLOW Driver D Butcher was given the benefit of the doubt and no further action was deemed necessary.
