INFLIGHT - paced roughly shortly after the start. Driver Z Butcher reported that he had not activated the deafeners.
SONG OF VICTORY - gave ground final stages.
TAYLA AMORE - broke passing the 350 metres losing its chance. A warning was placed against the mares racing manners.
ROSADO - Trainer R Villiger was issued with a Minor Infringement Notice after presenting the mare with fixed deafeners which were not notified. Lay in and contacted several marker pegs on the final turn.
GENOCIATE - gave ground final stages.

DANKE - Driver G Martin was charged under Rule 868(1) in that he caused or permitted his gelding to be run other than on its merits as a result of his actions and/or lack of actions over the final 200 metres and/or Rule 868(2) in that he failed to take all reasonable and permissible measures over the final 200 metres to ensure his gelding was given full opportunity to win the race. The JCA opened and adjourned the hearing to be held on a date and at a venue to be fixed.
MIGHTY SUNNY - broke shortly after the start settling at the rear. Authorisation of the 3rd placing was withheld until it was confirmed that the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation when in the early gallop.
HARRY H - broke passing the winning post on the first occasion and settled at the rear.
COOL SON - broke at the start and trailed the field.
SPEEDY LAVROS - broke at the start losing all chance.
FRANCO NADAL - broke at the start and then again over the early stages and was retired from the event.

CHECK IN - broke near the 1800 metres and soon settled. Broke free of interference passing the 1200 metres and settled at the rear. A warning was placed against this gelding's racing manners. Driver S Phelan reported that he sustained a punctured sulky tyre over the early stages.
TEMBI - paced roughly entering the first turn after competing for a position over the early stages. Junior Driver R Argue, assisted by Senior Driver J Dickie, was spoken to advisedly in relation to the manner in which he drove over the early stages.

BUSINESS AS USUAL - raced fiercely over the early and middle stages. Commenced to tire passing the 600 metres. A warning was placed on this gelding's racing manners.
KUSIMA - held up early in the run home and paced roughly when disappointed for a run to the inside of KNIGHTS DESIRE which shifted in.
