Race 1 WYNDHAM WORKOUTS HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
HOLDON MONARCHY - broke after 200 metres. Broke near the 800 metres.
PEGASUS HANOVER - slow to begin. Broke when negotiating the first bend.
KIWI CRUSHER - slow to begin. Broke after 100 metres. Broke again when negotiating the first bend losing its chance.
DENN NEE NOSE BEST - trotted unevenly nearing the 1500 metres. Hampered near the 700 metres.
OUR BUDD - broke after 100 metres.
BOBBINS - broke when negotiating the first bend. Authorisation of first placing being awarded was withheld until it was confirmed this mare had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations when breaking at this stage of the race.
 
Race 2 A ROCKNROLL DANCE 'SIRING OUTSTANDING FOALS' MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
SKETCHING - improved outwards near the 1700 metres forcing LADY GO CULLECT (B McLellan) wider on the track. Challenged for the lead for a distance middle stages. When questioned regarding these tactics drive A Suddaby explained that it was his intention to lead with the gelding as instructed and was of the opinion that GABBY'S DELIGHT would surrender the lead to a favoured runner in a more timely manner. He further added that the gelding was inclined to race fiercely when racing with cover and he would be recommending gear changes prior to it resuming. Mr Suddaby admitted a breach of Rule 869(4)(6)(b)&(c) in that he improved this gelding outwards nearing the 1700 metres when not permitted to do so and was fined the sum of $250.
LADY GO CULLECT - forced wider on the track by SKETCHING nearing the 1700 metres.
GABBY'S DELIGHT - raced wide in the early stages. Commenced to tire from the 700 metres after being made to work hard in the middle stages. When questioned regarding the tactics he adopted through the middle stages when electing to withstand the challenge of SKETCHING driver R McIlwrick advised that it was his intention to drive the mare in a more forward position today as he was of the opinion the opposition was of lesser a standard than in previous weeks. He further added that the mare had been unsuited to working through the middle stages and that he would be be driving her with cover in future.
FEAR XCHANGE - tired rapidly from the 600 metres.
DON SEBASTIAN - driver A Beck was questioned regarding his apparent lack of vigour through the early and middle stages of the run home. After hearing Mr Beck's explanation the Stewards issued a charge pursuant to Rule 868(2) in that he failed to take all reasonable and permissible measures in the home straight to ensure that DON SEBASTIAN was given full opportunity to win the race. This was adjourned sine die.
GUNSLINGER BROMAC - raced greenly in the early stages.
 
Race 3 TITIROA TRANSPORT FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
VERA MAC - held up rounding the final bend and the early stages of the final straight.
SHEEZUS - broke shortly after the start.
TOMMYS BLUE CHIP - hung outwards rounding the final bend making contact with the inside wheel of IDEAL LEGS. Continued to lay outwards throughout the run home.
IVY MAY DELIGHT - broke in the initial score up. In the restart again paced roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. Warning placed on mobile barrier record. Trainer/ driver A Milne advised he would be reassessing the racing future of IVY MAY DELIGHT.
MILLIE KATE - A false start was declared due to this filly breaking in the score up, shifting out and checking IDEAL LEGS. Driver B Barclay elected to remain in his allotted position for the restart. Warning placed on mobile barrier record.
IDEAL LEGS - sustained a punctured sulky tyre in the early stages of the home straight. When spoken to regarding the performance trainer/driver N Williamson advised the filly had raced keenly during the running which had taken its toll over the concluding stages. Mr Williamson added he would be removing the blinds for the filly's next start.
YANKEE DIVA - raced greenly near the 1300 metres and shifted outwards. Gave ground from the 500 metres. Trainer K Larsen advised he was disappointed with the effort of this filly. A post race veterinary examination revealed slight lameness in the left hind leg. Stood down pending vet clearance.
 
Race 4 GRAND HOTEL ROXBURGH FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
BOBBIE'S GIRL - raced wide in the early stages. This mare was subjected to a post-race veterinary examination after making contact with a fence when returning to the stable enclosure. The subsequent examination revealed superficial grazing to the left leg.
TERRACOTTA - hung inwards when improving three wide in the middle stages. Inclined to lay inwards rounding the final bend.
SWEET AS - paced roughly near the 500 metres.
 
Race 5 ILT CENTREPOINT/SOUTH CITY LIQUORLAND HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
OVERCAST - driver R McIlwrick viewed replays of the concluding stages before electing not to proceed with a Protest.
BELMONT INVASION - broke after 150 metres losing its chance.
GRACE O'MALLEY - trotted roughly rounding the first bend.
EXPLOSIVE STAR - gave ground on the final bend.
MOMENT OF SUN - driver G Lee admitted a breach of Rule 869(4) in that he permitted his runner to shift down the track into the Passing Lane when he had an unimpeded run to the finish line and in doing so failed to maintain as straight a course to the finish line as possible with the JCA imposing a fine of $250.
PYRAMID MAGIC - held up on the final bend.
 
Race 6 MLT THREE RIVERS HOTEL MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
The start time of this race was delayed three minutes at the request of the TAB.
WESTERN DELIGHT - raced greenly entering the bend by the 1200 metres.
CELEBRITY EASTON - was out of position at the dispatch. Driver A Suddaby was warned to ensure he maintains his correct position behind the mobile barrier until the start point.
MATAI JETSTAR - raced wide in the early stages.
LOUIE - raced wide in the early stages.
JACCKA SHELBY - tired from the 500 metres. Driver reported the gelding was making abnormal breathing noises during the running. A post-race veterinary check including an endoscopic examination revealed the gelding had most likely suffered a displaced soft palate. Stood down pending vet clearance. Trainer B Gray advised it was his intention to retire the gelding as a racing proposition.
THUNDA DOWN UNDA - broke near the 1100 metres when improving three wide. Warned racing manners.

AMERICAN SPIRIT - tangled briefly shortly after the start.
VERA'S DELIGHT - held up over the concluding stages.
ROBYN'S BAD BOY - broke briefly at the start.
 
Race 8 SUNSHINE BEACH AT ALABAR HANDICAP PACE Video  Video 
THREE DREAMS - broke briefly at the start.
PAT'S LEGACY - checked at the start and broke losing its chance.
QUICK NICK - tangled away.
KNOCKMANAUGH - hung inwards and paced roughly racing down the back straight. Held up on the final bend.
FRANCO NIXON - held up and checked on the final bend making contact with the inside sulky tyre of WAYWARD ROC which deflated.
SIMPLE PLEASURE - driver A Suddaby was warned to change his whip action.
WAYWARD ROC - locked wheels with ACOLYTE rounding the final bend.
ACOLYTE - locked wheels with WAYWARD ROC rounding the final bend.

FLUSHING MEADOWS - held up in the early stages of the run home with driver E Swain advising he did not activate the mares removable deafeners.
RIVER PATROL - lay inwards through the early stages of the run home.
FIRST SON - held up in the early stages of the run home.
RAPHOE - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. Warning placed on mobile barrier record. Placed on the Unruly at the request of trainer A Hoffman. A warning placed on racing record after this gelding broke on its own accord exiting the final bend.
