XMAS JOYELLA - inconvenienced near the 850 metres.
LAVROS TEXAS - inconvenienced near the 850 metres. Held up on the final bend. Hung inwards on several occasions.
GLASS HALF FULL - broke at the start and lost ground.
LITTLE MO - had to be steadied passing the 500 metres when racing to the inside of GALLEONS ROYALE. Driver C Ford was spoken to regarding the manner in which he drove at this time and cautioned for allowing his gelding to become poorly positioned near the sulky of GALLEONS ROYALE.
IDLE MONKEY - tired rounding the final bend, hung in and struck markers. When spoken to regarding the gelding's performance the connections advised the gelding may not have been suited to the 3200 metres distance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
FRATELLINO - re-handicapped to barrier 4 on ten metres after winning at Rangiora on the 3rd of November. Slow to begin.
DONEGAL BETTORGRETCH - over-raced near the 1200 metres when driver D Dunn attempted to restrain and take cover behind the improving DESTINY JONES.
ALL LIT UP - broke passing the 900 metres. Driver J Smith reported that the gelding had knuckled over.
LINDSAY CASTLETON - broke at the start losing all chance.
QUEVERT - when spoken to regarding the gelding's performance driver B Butt could only advise he had been disappointed with its efforts. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

QUITE IDEAL - held up early stages of the run home.
BOULTS ON FIRE - raced wide without cover over the early stages. Held up early in the run home.
RICCARDO - held up early in the run home.
DAYLIGHT ROBBERY - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record. Over-raced in the middle stages.
AUGUSTA(AUS) - held up early in the run home.
SHINEONUCRAZYDIAMOND - inconvenienced near the 1100 metres.
PIRATE BAY - over-raced in the middle stages. Passing the 1100 metres became awkwardly positioned between the sulkies of ALL STAR MAGICIAN and MANINTHEMIRROR as a result.

JAYCEEKAY - began awkwardly. Lay outwards under pressure throughout the final straight.
TWELVE MONKEYS - when spoken to regarding the mare's performance driver B Orange felt the mare was best saved for one run however had been forced to sustain a run from the 800 metres to avoid becoming held up by improving three wide runners.
LE LIEVRE'S GIFT - broke after 150 metres.
HEY YO - broke after 100 metres.
ANY OLD WAY - raced roughly for a short distance near the 2000 metres.
PYRAMID MAGIC - broke briefly at the start.
BELLES SON - checked and broke after 200 metres.
GOLDEN GATE - driver R McIlwrick fined $100 for driving with his foot out of the footrest for a considerable distance in the early stages.
 
Race 4 HOME & FAMILY FREE FOR ALL (MOBILE PACE) Video  Video 
LITTLE RASCAL - raced keenly in the middle stages.
EXPRESSIVE VICTOR - despite the efforts of driver J Curtin the mare was out of position at the start. Weakened passing the 400 metres.
PULP FICTION - hung inwards in the score up and as a result was out of position at the start. Hung inwards leaving the final bend.

ASHES OF TEARS - over-raced in the middle stages. Raced roughly near the 1000 metres when awkwardly positioned near the sulky of CLASINA MARIA. When questioned with regard to this driver T Williams explained his mare had travelled erratically and had been affected by an easing of the pace in the three wide line.
DANCING IN THE DARK - locked wheels near the 250 metres when weakening.
MYSISTERSASTAR - raced wide without cover in the early stages.
GUPTA'S CULLEN - held up final bend. Locked wheels near the 250 metres when attempting a run between DANCING IN THE DARK and the weakening GOING TO CALIFORNIA which shifted outwards under pressure.
GOING TO CALIFORNIA - lay outwards passing the 250 metres resulting in GUPTA'S CULLEN locking wheels with DANCING IN THE DARK.
CLASINA MARIA - raced wide from the 800 metres.
MIGHTY EMPIRE - when questioned regarding the seemingly disappointing performance driver T Chmiel was unable to offer any explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare had flipped her palate and was stood down pending a satisfactory veterinary clearance which includes the results of a scope.
AMERICAN TART - driver J Dunn reported that he had not activated the mare's sliding blinds.
 
Race 6 GRANITE BENCHTOP COMPANY NZ TROTTING FREE-FOR-ALL (MOBILE) Video  Video 
QUITE A MOMENT - held up throughout the run home. Driver G O'Reilly advised he did not activate the mare's deafeners.
LE REVEUR - attempted to lower its head under the barrier arm prior to the start causing it to trot roughly for several strides. Held up rounding the final bend.
REALMEIN - raced wide in the early stages.
MARCOOLA - raced roughly over the final stages.
KYVALLEY BLUR - raced three wide throughout.
ARYA - out of position at the candy pole. Driver C DeFilippi was issued with a warning. Raced three wide throughout.
VALMAGNE - held up rounding the final bend.
ONE OVER DA MOON - out of position at the candy pole. Driver T Herlihy was issued with a warning. Over-raced middle stages.
 
Race 7 NRM SIRES STAKES SERIES No.33 FINAL (MOBILE PACE) Video  Video 
ON THE RANTAN - paced roughly shortly after the start and had to be steadied.
STAR GALLERIA - co-trainers S Reid & S McMullan were issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for presenting the gelding late onto the track.
MORE THE BETTER - underwent a pre-race Veterinary inspection and was cleared fit to race.
YOU GOTTA HAVE FAITH - hung inwards under pressure final bend and broke after making contact with the sulky of ON THE RANTAN.
TIGER THOMPSON - broke at the 1200 metres and shifted outwards. Again raced greenly near the 900 metres losing ground. Raced roughly near the 350 metres. Driver J Curtin reported the gelding had been striking its sulky wheels throughout.
ACCUMULATOR - checked near the 800 metres. Badly held up final bend.
MONGOLIAN STORM - kicked out in the early stages of the score up and as a result got both hind legs over the crossbar. Underwent a veterinary examination and was declared a late scratching. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance.
KING SOLOMON - raced roughly from the 800 metres when improving wide and had to be restrained.
AFTERDINNERSPEAKER - raced keenly throughout. Weakened passing the 600 metres.
 
Race 8 PASCOES THE JEWELLERS MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
ULTIMATE FELLA - trainer B White was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice after the gelding was presented without the notified sliding blinds.
THE BIG BOSS - broke briefly in the score up. Blundered shortly after the start and broke losing its chance, checking SUPERFECTA. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record.
SUPERFECTA - checked shortly after the start by the breaking THE BIG BOSS.
DREAMY DAMIEN - raced roughly when being restrained approaching the 2000 metres. Hung inwards and lost ground on the bend near the 1000 metres.
EARS BURNING - the blinds were removed prior to the start after warming up intractably. Shifted inwards abruptly near the 1950 metres when shifting away from the improving CAPTAIN DOLMIO.
DALNESS XCHANGE - late scratching on Vet's advice after arriving at the start with blood present in both nostrils. Taking into account this being the mare's third race day bleed, connections were advised she has been stood down from racing indefinitely.
PERISSA - notified by trainer M Jones to be in foal. Contacted and dislodged track markers near the 2100 metres.
HERE WE GO AGAIN - contacted and dislodged track markers near the 2100 metres.
ALTA ORLANDO - broke in the score up losing considerable ground. Driver J Dunn advised it was his intention to make gear changes. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record.
 
Race 9 AVON CITY FORD MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
FREEDOM FIGHTER - raced roughly in the score up and was back as a result. Got its head up and raced keenly near the 800 metres.
GUNPOWDER - heavily checked near the 450 metres losing its chance.
MARTIN JOHN - over-raced in the middle stages.
EJA PATRON - checked near the 450 metres.
CRUZY DUDE - raced wide early stages.
FRANCO HAMPTON - over-raced and improved up on to the sulky of THE GOVERNOR near the 450 metres when the pace in the running line eased slightly. In consequence the colt broke the front side carrier which fell to the track.

SMOLDA - raced roughly for several strides on the bend near the 2800 metres.
QUICK AS A TRICK - broke at the start.
LEWY RISK - broke at the start losing all chance. Warning placed on barrier record.
MOONROCK - broke at the start. Raced wide and without cover from the 900 metres. Weakened from the 600 metres.
MIGHTY FLYING MAC - broke at the start. Warning placed on barrier record. Weakened at the 900 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
MOSSDALE CONNER - broke at the start. Held up final bend.
HAVE FAITH IN ME - broke at the start. Checked by breaking runner shortly after the start. Broke with 750 metres to run. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with the connections in the coming days.

PRECIOUS PET - driver J Dunn spoken to regarding the manner he shifted ground near the 2400 metres.
EVERYBODY KNOWS - broke at the start.
ANOTHER CHAPTER - held up final 400 metres.
BEG HALL - broke after 150 metres. Broke again passing the 600 metres.
MCLOVIN - broke after 200 metres.

CHRISTOPHER BANNER - hampered near the 250 metres.
FRANCO TRISTAN - had to be restrained near the 1000 metres due to an easing of the pace.
JOHNNY EYRE - had to be restrained near the 1000 metres due to an easing of the pace.
BENICIO - held up throughout the run home. Driver M Purdon reported that because of this he did not activate his deafeners. M Purdon was issued with a warning for the manner in which he attempted to shift ground near the 250 metres.
LETSPENDANITETOGETHA - paced roughly near the 1100 metres for a short distance and then broke losing ground.
LINTON SHARD - near the 950 metres became awkwardly positioned close to the sulky of JOHNNY EYRE and had to be steadied.
