Race 1 ROGER KINGSLAND / COLIN KEEN MEMORIAL TROT Video  Video 
BARHAM BELLE - Broke near the 300 metres.
ABOUT LAST NIGHT - Slow to begin before trotting slowly through the early stages.
IMPERIAL WHIZ - Raced greenly when in a leading position near the 700 metres, racing wider on the track. Driver A Clark will be spoken to by Stewards to correct his whip action.
BELMONT'S GREATEST - Inconvenienced shortly after the start and had to shift inwards to avoid a breaking runner.
LA VETTE - Broke shortly after the start. Broke entering the first bend.
 
Race 2 PETER FRASER MEMORIAL MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
BUSTER BROWN - Over-raced for a distance passing the 1800 metres. Stewards spoke with Driver C Ferguson regarding the manner in which he shifted ground in the early stages when to the outside of DUFF MCKAGAN (G Crawford). After considering the explanation of both drivers Stewards deemed that the racing manners of DUFF MCKAGAN had been the main contributor after racing roughly however advised Mr Ferguson that in future it was expected he display a higher level of care when shifting ground.
SUPA STYX - Raced wide in the early stages until obtaining the parked position near the 1700 metres. Weakened over the final 600 metres.
REMACHABLE IDEA - Over-raced in the early stages.
KOHEN CONNOR - Broke shortly through the latter stages of the score up. Warning placed against mobile barrier record.
TROPOSPHERE - Broke in the score up and was well back at dispatch. Warning placed against mobile barrier record. Trainer R Cameron advised it was his intention to make gear changes prior to its next start.
DUFF MCKAGAN - Paced roughly shortly after the start. Got its head up and paced roughly when being restrained passing the winning post on the first occasion. Paced roughly when crowded for room rounding the first bend. Held up throughout the run home and was unable to be fully tested by driver G Crawford.
JAYEDGAR - Raced wide without cover passing the 1800 metres prior to being improved to obtain the parked position near the 1600 metres.
 
Race 3 JOHN COLLINS MEMORIAL PACE Video  Video 
GO EXCLUSIVE - Held up for a distance near the 500 metres.
MUSTANG BULLITT - Weakened over the final 500 metres.
RAKE - Broke and veered outwards at the start losing ground.
COME AND GO - Broke for several strides at the start.
VIXENLYZ - Hung outwards under pressure near the 150 metres and had to be straightened.
GLENSTONE - When questioned regarding the improved performance Trainer A Hoffman advised that her stable had recently overcome a virus in which the mare has recovered well from and was expecting a forward showing in todays event.
LIVING GLORY - Broke near the 450 metres.
 
Race 4 DON CUTTANCE MEMORIAL TROT Video  Video 
ROSIE EXPRESS - Driver questioned regarding the tactics he had adopted in the early stages when electing to restrain the mare as opposed to maintain its position behind EVANDER D GO. Driver M Williamson explained ROSIE EXPRESS at it's most recent start had broken racing into the first turn and for that reason had been instructed to steady his runner early in order to keep it in its correct gait. Mr Williamson added that it had been his intention to find a position nearer to the pylons as he felt his mare was better suited to that position over 2700 metres. He said he had then changed his mind when the lead changed and felt instead of being in a position four back on the running line was a less preferable option to being three back on the outside line. Stewards noted Mr Williamson's comments.
COCKTAIL WAITER - Over-raced in the middle stages.
JACKOFDIAMONDS - Hung inwards and broke near the 1200 metres.
SUGAR CANE - Proved reluctant to step away at the start losing considerable ground and effectively its chance. Warning placed against standing start record.
WISHES STAR - Tangled away.
YGRITTE - Hung inwards and broke near the 700 metres.
 
Race 5 LETTY FERGUSON MEMORIAL MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
COMIC BOOK HERO - Inconvenienced shortly after the start. Briefly taken to four wide position near the 1300 metres. Raced wide over the final 900 metres.
EL DINERO - Hung inwards and paced roughly through the early stages.
TUHERBS TWO - Raced wide rounding the first bend until near the 1700 metres.
SAUCHIEHALL - Hung inwards through the middle stages. Hampered near the 1250 metres and forced wider for a short distance. Driver R McIlwrick spoken to regarding the manner in which he shifted outwards near the 1300 metres causing COMIC BOOK HERO to be taken outwards and issued with a warning. Contributing to this incident was outside movement by BOBBY T. Driver R Cameron will be spoken to in the coming days.
 
Race 6 FERGUS MATHIESON MEMORIAL HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
KING KONE - Broke at the start.
BONO HEST - Trotted roughly near the 800 metres.
DUSKY EYRE - Driver D Dunn and Starter W Ferguson spoken to regarding the start. Driver D Dunn was spoken to regarding the manner in which he addressed the barriers.
PYRAMID MAGIC - Driver M Williamson reported that the gelding had trotted roughly throughout the straight.
 
Race 7 RYAN COURT MEMORIAL PACE Video  Video 
GOTTA CLASSIE GIRL - Inconvenienced near the 300 metres when awkwardly positioned to the outside of RAPHOE.
LEADING THE WAY - Held up rounding the final bend. Paced roughly when placed under pressure near the 150 metres.
QUICK NICK - Raced wide in the early stages until obtaining the parked position near the 1500 metres.
RAPHOE - Broke at the start. Warning placed against standing start record. Paced roughly when being restrained near the 1800 metres. Hung outwards and paced roughly near the 300 metres.
 
Race 8 HYDROFLOW DISTRIBUTORS FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
SANDRA KEITH - Caused false start when the mare got its head under the mobile barrier arm. Driver A Lowe elected to remain in his original position for the restart. Warning placed against mobile barrier record. Leaving the final bend, SANDRA KEITH was shifted wider and made contact with the galloping FABRI BROMAC with the mare breaking and losing its chance in consequence. Driver A Lowe was issued with a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly at this time. Mr Lowe admitted the breach and after considering submissions on penalty the JCA imposed a fine of $300.
MATAI LEXIE - Weakened over the final 500 metres.
FABRI BROMAC - Broke leaving the final bend. A post-race veterinary examination showed the mare to have potentially fractured a pedal bone with x-rays to be conducted tomorrow, with a veterinary clearance to be provided. Stewards will follow up with trainer G Payne in the coming days
