Pre-race blood testing was carried out.

Following Race 7 Stewards inspected a section to the outside of the track near the 300 metres where water had become apparent due to an over flow from the on-course water truck. The track curator carried out remedial work on the affected area and after consulting with several senior horsemen, it was determined that the meeting proceed without delay and that this was not a safety hazard to participants.

REGAL ASSASSIN - slow to begin. Broke after 200 metres. Checked rounding the first bend. Broke entering the bend near the 1400 metres.
PRESIDENT ROYDON - broke passing the winning post on the first occasion. Broke near the 1600 metres.
EAGLE GALLEON - inconvenienced passing the winning post on the first occasion. Trotted roughly over the concluding stages and was unable to be driven out with any discernible vigour.
LA VETTE - trotted roughly and broke rounding the first bend.
STAR CANDIDATE - trotted roughly rounding the final bend.
TROUBLE GIERO - broke at the start.
IMPERIAL WHIZ - hung inwards and broke shortly after the start. Broke rounding the first bend. Paced for a stride near the 1750 metres before breaking.

EVERLASTING LEGACY - broke in the latter stages of the score up checking second line runners obliging a false start to be declared. Driver S Tomlinson elected to start from the Unruly position where the filly will remain for its upcoming mobile engagements. Trainer M Brown advised he would not be persevering with the filly as a racing proposition from his stable.
DEBNITA ROSE - broke entering the first bend checking trailing runners. Warning placed against racing manners record.
L A CONFIDENTIAL - broke when being angled inwards to obtain clear running near the 250 metres. Driver A Suddaby was issued with a warning for using his whip in a manner in which the Stewards deemed unnecessary. Driver Suddaby advised the mare had been striking a knee and in his opinion had not handled the tight nature of the track.
RED ELECTRIC - broke early in the score up and was slightly back off the gate at dispatch. Broke shortly after the start. Warning placed against mobile barrier manners.
HOW IDEAL - broke with 900 metres to run.
TRENDY'S BAD GIRL - checked entering the first bend.
THELMA AND LOUISE - hung inwards for a distance rounding the first bend.
LADY DANGER - Driver S Walkinshaw was cautioned to change his whip action.

NORTHVIEW DAVE - Driver S Tomlinson reported a sulky tyre had deflated after the winning post.
ELUSIVE FLIGHT - paced roughly during the score up and through the early stages before breaking shortly after the start. Broke when being improved to a leading position near the 1500 metres inconveniencing all trailing runners. Driver R McIlwrick was issued with a warning for failing to take the gelding clear of the field. Broke passing the 700 metres. Driver McIlwrick advised the gelding had been inclined to strike its knee during the running. Connections were advised that ELUSIVE FLIGHT must trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards prior to racing next. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no clinical abnormalities. Trainer G Anderson advised that the gelding will now be sent for a spell.
THE CHARGING MOA - shifted outwards under pressure throughout the straight.

MATAI VALOUR - checked at start.
DON SEBASTIAN - checked at start.
IDEAL ART - checked at start. Over-raced through the middle stages.
MACANDREW MAJIC - veered inwards abruptly at the start checking several runners to its inside. Declared Unruly for future standing start events. Over-raced for a distance passing the 1200 metres.
CELEBRITY EASTON - Driver A Suddaby dropped his foot when attempting to activate removable gear near the 250 metres.
PASSION FLOWER - Driver B Williamson was reminded of his obligations to check in following the race when required to do so.
LIKETHELOOK - checked at start. Held up rounding the final bend and through the early stages of the straight until near the 100 metres.
GABBY'S DELIGHT - checked at start.
AFRO DIZZY YAK - paced slowly through the early stages and was unable to make contact with the body of the field thereafter.
 
Race 5 JACCKA LODGE HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
OUR BUDD - broke shortly after the start and proved difficult to be restrained by driver G McEwan causing a check to ANOTHER DELIGHT near the 2300 metres. The gelding was then unable to be restrained into its correct gait until near the 800 metres and was eventually retired from the event. Trainer G McEwan was advised that OUR BUDD must trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to racing next. Mr McEwan advised that it was his intention to add a drop-noseband to the gelding's gear in an attempt to rectify this issue.
PHOEBE FLYER - weakened over the final 500 metres.
TOPNOTCH EAGLE - paced through the early stages with driver C Ferguson checking the gelding in an attempt to regain its correct gait.
DARK HORSE - broke at the start, failed to settle and was eventually retired from the event.
SONEY BEATT - over-raced in the middle stages.
ANOTHER DELIGHT - broke at the start. Checked heavily near the 2300 metres resulting in driver J Campbell becoming unbalanced in the sulky.
EXPLOSIVE STAR - broke near the 250 metres.
SIN BIN - broke near the 2000 metres losing considerable ground.
MASS INVASION - held up briefly near the 200 metres.
 
Race 6 T & K SHANKS EXCAVATING / EBONY & IVORY HAIR DEZIGN PACE Video  Video 
DANCING DIXIE - broke at the start, losing ground.
SWEET AS - broke at the start before being inconvenienced shortly after. Held up rounding the final bend and throughout the straight going to the line without being tested by driver R McIlwrick. Due to this driver McIlwrick reported that he did not activate the removable deafeners.
KNOCKMANAUGH - broke at the start and veered inwards inconveniencing an inside runner. Over-raced when being restrained near the 1300 metres. Had difficulty obtaining racing room in the early stages of the straight until near the 100 metres.

THAT CAT - broke entering the first bend losing considerable ground. Driver A Suddaby lowered his leg from the sulky footrest near the 1000 metres and was issued with a warning for failing to return it at the earliest opportunity. Driver Suddaby reported that the gelding had felt indifferent over the final 1200 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no clinical abnormalities. Stewards will follow up the recovery with trainer M Saunders in the coming days.
ROBYN'S BAD BOY - shied at a section of the track during the score up resulting in the gelding pacing roughly for a short distance.
OSSESSIONE - Trainer A Black advised he would have blood tests taken off the gelding in the coming days, with the results to be notified to the Stewards.

I TRY - raced wide through the early stages until reaching the parked position near the 1700 metres.
JABALI - improved wide from the 700 metres.
ONE DIRECTION - steadied near the 1000 metres when there was an easing of the pace in the one out line.
BOOTIE BROMAC - got its head up and paced roughly when awkwardly positioned behind ROBS IDEAL near the 1900 metres. Held up near the 250 metres.
RIVER PATROL - steadied near the 1000 metres when there was an easing of the pace in the one out line. Held up in the early and middle stages of the straight.
FRANCO NIXON - hung inwards and contacted several pylons near the 1900 metres.
 
Race 9 BROMAC LODGE / FALLS BISTRO MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
NO MORE CHANGE - broke entering the first bend. Warning placed against racing manners record.
RECIPROCITY - paced roughly and broke rounding the first bend checking a trailing runner. Warning placed on the filly's racing manners record.
EAMON MAGUIRE - inconvenienced when forced to race wider near the 1900 metres, with the gelding breaking shortly after. The near-side front hopple carrier strap broke near the 300 metres, with the gelding breaking in consequence. Stewards inspected the gear which was found to be in a satisfactory condition.
ANNIE FITZ - broke entering the straight.
ALEXY - checked rounding the first bend.
THE HONEY BADGER - broke during the score up and as a result was out of position at the dispatch. Warning placed against the gelding's mobile barrier manners. Steadied near the 1700 metres when there was an easing of the pace in the one out line.
MCKENZIE MARA - steadied near the 1700 metres when there was an easing of the pace in the one out line.
WILL I AM - steadied near the 1700 metres when there was an easing of the pace in the one out line. Hung inwards and broke entering the straight.

CRACKAMOA - paced roughly shortly after the start.
IT AIN'T THE MONEY - broke during the score up and continued to do so through the early stages until being restrained into its correct gait near the 1700 metres. Warning placed against the gelding's mobile barrier record.
PAY MASTER - weakened inside the final 700 metres and was not persevered with thereafter. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no clinical abnormalities.
CANARDLY REMEMBER - heavily restrained near the 450 metres when trailing THUNDA DOWN UNDA.
BETTER THAN MOST - paced roughly rounding the final bend. Hung inwards under pressure and had to be straightened near the 100 metres.
THUNDA DOWN UNDA - paced roughly and broke near the 450 metres, with the gelding blundering in consequence. Trainer B Gray was advised that THUNDA DOWN UNDA must trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to racing next.
CALLMEKIWI - placed in restricted room near the 100 metres.
Authorisation of dividends were withheld until the Stewards spoke with starter Mr B Ward and drivers A Beck (GOTTA MINUTE) and K Barclay (DON'T PASS I'M FAST) to ascertain as to whether their respective runners were denied a fair start when trailing the breaking IT AIN'T THE MONEY at the dispatch. Drivers Beck and Barclay confirmed their chances had not been materially prejudiced, with dividends being duly authorised.
