SKY TOWER - broke briefly as the start was effected. Broke near the 400 metres.
LOXI CLAIRBORNE - broke passing the 200 metres.
RYDGEMONT MILLY - became held up passing the 400 metres when trailing a breaking runner, only obtaining clear racing room near the 250 metres.
THE DENNISTON ROSE - broke in the early stages losing all chance.
GIRLS NITE OUT - broke briefly at the start then again after 100 metres losing significant ground.
EXPLOSIVE STAR - got its head up when being restrained near the 2200 metres.
INSIGNIFICANT - fractious prior to the start and broke as the tapes were released.

GABBY'S DELIGHT - held up on the home turn until near the 150 metres.
SEDUCE ME - lay inwards under pressure over the concluding stages.
BONNIE MEDLEY - broke near the 1900 metres inconveniencing trailing runners.
THELMA AND LOUISE - hung inwards entering the first bend and when being restrained made brief contact with the sulky wheel of RECIPROCITY. Inconvenienced 1900 metres. Lay inwards under pressure through the early and middle stages of the home straight.
EVERLASTING LEGACY - hung outwards for a short distance near the 1850 metres. Over-raced through the middle stages. Held up throughout the final straight and went to the line without being fully tested by its driver.

RED ELECTRIC - paced roughly in the early stages of the home straight.
MISS WAIKIWI - steadied entering the first bend. Inconvenienced near the 900 metres when awkwardly placed near the sulky wheel of another runner. Held up for a short distance passing the 400 metres.
SIMPLE PLEASURE - hung inwards entering the bend near the 2000 metres.
TUAPEKA HELEN - commenced to weaken inside the final 700 metres and was not persevered with thereafter. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be suffering from muscle tie up and was treated by the veterinarian. Co-Trainer G Knight informed Stewards that blood tests will be taken from TUAPEKA HELEN in the coming days and the results will be reported to Stewards.
DEBNITA ROSE - raced wide in the early stages before being restrained to obtain cover near the 1900 metres.
GROUND RULES - paced roughly latter stages of the score up. Shifted outwards and paced roughly entering the first bend. Paced roughly and broke with 900 metres to run.
BG'S LINDA - placed in restricted room entering the first bend. Eased out of the event passing the 700 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities with a warning placed on the mare's racing performance. Trainer A Hoffman advised she would reassess the mare's future racing prospects in the coming days.

KAKA POINT CHRIS - paced roughly and broke in the score up losing considerable ground. Warning placed against mobile barrier record.
CRACKAMOA - hung in the score up and was out of position at the dispatch. Held up on the final bend and through the middle stages of the run home. Heavily restrained by driver D Dunn with 50 metres to run when disappointed for a run to the inside of THE DALI EXPRESS which shifted inwards under pressure.
THE DALI EXPRESS - shifted inwards under pressure throughout the run home. Driver A Beck was cautioned to ensure he takes corrective action to straighten his horse earlier than he did so on this occasion.
THUNDA DOWN UNDA - broke briefly near the 2100 metres. Raced wide from the 1100 metres before compounding over the final 400 metres.
MALIK - improved wide from the 1200 metres. Driver B Orange reported the colt had raced greenly throughout and in his opinion would derive benefit from the experience.
 
Race 5 WAIKAIA HOTEL MOTEL AND RESTAURANT HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
OVERCAST - broke near the 500 metres.
GRACE O'MALLEY - hung inwards and broke near the 2200 metres. Hung inwards and broke passing the 400 metres.
KING KONE - raced inside the track markers near the 300 metres. Driver G Crawford was cautioned to ensure that she exercises greater control of her horse when activating removable gear.
SUN'S INVASION - over-raced for a distance passing the 1400 metres.
SPRINGBANK EDEN - hung inwards when improving with 1400 metres to run. Driver B Williamson reported he did not activate the removable deafeners on the gelding due to having the field covered.
 
Race 6 AUCKLAND REACTOR 'OLDEST CROP NOW 2YOS' MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
EL DINERO - When questioned regarding the improved performance driver C Ferguson advised the gelding had been racing well from unfavourable draws in recent starts and attributed the improved showing today from receiving a more economical trip.
JACCKA SHELBY - weakened passing the 400 metres and was not persevered with thereafter. Driver B Barclay advised that the gelding had choked down during the running and he would be recommending gear changes prior to the gelding's next start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have an elevated respiratory rate.
BEACH SKIPPER - hung inwards and broke near the 1900 metres checking trailing runners. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Orange advised that the colt had felt lethargic throughout and that he was disappointed with the effort over the concluding stages. Driver Orange added that he would be recommending gear changes prior to the colt's next start.
MATAI VALOUR - inconvenienced near the 1900 metres.
LOUIE - checked near 1900 metres.
CANARDLY REMEMBER - driver H Hunter was cautioned to change whip action.
LUCAS - hung inwards over the concluding stages becoming awkwardly placed near the sulky wheel of another runner.
THREE HUNDY - held up rounding the final bend and for the majority of the run home only obtaining racing room inside the final 50 metres. Driver C Barron advised he was not afforded the opportunity to activate the removable gear on the gelding.
 
Race 7 JEFF WALKER & CLELAND MURDOCH LAWYERS HANDICAP PACE Video  Video 
JETSDREAM - broke at the start. Struck a pylon and paced roughly passing the 800 metres.
FRANCO NIXON - held up over the final 100 metres.
PULLING THE STRINGS - held up on the final bend and throughout the run home, going to the line without being fully tested by its driver.
LUCIANO - broke at the start losing considerable ground and effectively all chance.

FLASHING ON - Driver B Williamson reported he did not activate the removable deafeners on the gelding due to having the field covered.
NIGHTMARCH - raced wide in the early stages until near the 1700 metres.
BETTOR OPS - held up rounding the final bend.
THE HONEY BADGER - steadied and corrected by driver D Dunn near the 250 metres after hanging inwards and briefly protruding inside the marker line. Driver D Dunn informed Stewards that he would be recommending a change in the gelding's bit for its next start.
BOLD RULER - improved wide from the 1600 metres.
ATOM HANOVER - held up rounding the final bend.
 
Race 9 PGG WRIGHTSON LIVESTOCK PACE Video  Video 
GREAT ABBEY - checked passing the 1800 metres.
NORTHVIEW DAVE - broke at the start.
RIVER PATROL - broke briefly at the start. Hung inwards with 500 metres to run.
NO MORE CHANGE - broke at the start. Broke passing the 1800 metres checking trailing runners and was then obliged to race wide thereafter. Held up passing the 400 metres and again over the concluding stages. Trainer/driver C Ferguson advised that he will be adding an overcheck to the mare's gear for its future engagements.
HIGHLAND GIRL - required farrier attention prior to the start causing a slight delay. Broke at the start, shifting outwards and making heavy contact with another runner.
SUNDARA - hampered shortly after the start when contacted by another runner. Steadied briefly near the 100 metres.
LAUGHING CAVALIER - fractious prior to the start and as a result was out of position by several lengths as the tapes were released. Raced wide without cover through the middle stages.
LINDALI - hung inwards when being restrained in the middle stages. Raced in restricted room over the concluding stages.
PORSCHE CANARDLY - steadied passing the 700 metres when awkwardly positioned near the sulky wheel of another runner. Held up throughout the home straight and went to the line without being tested by its driver with the removable deafeners being unable to be activated as a result.
BACKSEAT CHICK - improved wide from the 500 metres.
RAPHOE - broke badly at the start losing considerable ground and effectively all chance.
 
Race 10 ADVANCE AGRICULTURE LTD FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
DANCING DIXIE - hung inwards on the final bend and raced inside pylons. Stewards will follow up the recovery with trainer C Barron in the coming days.
SWEET AS - paced roughly with 1300 metres to run. Held up on the home turn.
ANNIE FITZ - broke during the score up and was slightly out of position at the dispatch. Held up entering the home straight.
BOOTIE BROMAC - hung inwards throughout.
