CHANGESAW then gave ground quickly on the final turn to finish at the rear beaten 30 lengths. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer R Dunn advised that he would be having the gelding further vetted in the upcoming days and would advise should anything surface that would explain the disappointing performance. | |

GINTARAS was a late scratching at 7.55pm by order of the Stewards, at the request of Trainer/Driver R Brosnan on the grounds that he objected to what he considered to be the unfair condition of the track. After taking initial evidence from Mr Brosnan the matter was adjourned until a date and time to be fixed. | |

BOBBY BREEN broke over the final stages. A Protest was lodged against the 5th placing of BOBBY BREEN under Rule 870(3) on the grounds that the gelding failed to promptly regain its proper gait when galloping in excess of 50 metres late in the run home.
