Race 1 MORRISONS SADDLERY & FEED PACE Video  Video 
SUNNIVUE FLASH was slow to begin with the trailing MIDNIGHT COWBOY being inconvenienced.
MISSINMEMATE began awkwardly.
MILLWOOD CHARITY broke at the start.
RETURNTOROCKNROLL paced roughly rounding the first bend.
SUNNIVUE FLASH paced roughly when negotiating the first bend and broke passing the 1600 metres after hanging outwards and making contact with the sulky of BADENTYRE. A warning was placed on the racing record of SUNNIVUE FLASH.
PRADAS IDEAL DAHLING raced keenly through the middle stages.
MIDNIGHT COWBOY was obliged to race three wide without cover from the 1100 metres before tiring rounding the final bend. Driver J Kennett (MIDNIGHT COWBOY) was shown a replay and warned for using his whip when out of contention.
PRADAS IDEAL DAHLING was held up rounding the final bend.
BADENTYRE drifted outwards in the home straight. Driver N Williamson was advised to make a greater effort to maintain a straight course in the run home.
LETS ROCK N ROLL paced roughly late in the run home after making contact with PRADAS IDEAL DAHLING which shifted ground outwards. Stewards questioned Drivers J Hay (LETS ROCK N ROLL) and C Thornley (PRADAS IDEAL DAHLING) regarding this incident. It was established that PRADAS IDEAL DAHLING had shifted outwards to obtain clear running after BADENTYRE had drifted up the track simultaneous to LETS ROCK N ROLL hanging inwards and marginally shifting down the track. Notwithstanding the racing manners of these horses in this incident, Mr Thornley was advised to exercise care when shifting ground.
Trainer/Driver J Hay reported that he was disappointed with the performance of LETS ROCK N ROLL and that he would have blood tests taken from the gelding in the coming days. Stewards will follow up the recovery of LETS ROCK N ROLL.
 
Race 2 ONE SMART COFFEE TROT Video  Video 
CASTLETON TUI was slow through the early stages.
TIME FOR DIAMONDS broke at the start before settling and breaking again shortly after.
TIJUANA TAXI was slow through the early stages after trotting roughly.
BRYLIN ROSE trotted roughly when improving three wide from the 1400 metres with this mare then breaking nearing the 1100 metres.
LUCKY PAT'S SON hung inwards when racing around the bends.
BET'S COMMANDO broke nearing the 500 metres. The connections advised that the filly would be sent for a spell.
LUCKY PAT'S SON broke passing the 250 metres.
HOLLY TROUBLE was held up late in the run home after CLOVER LADY drifted inwards. Driver J Cox (CLOVER LADY) was warned to make a greater effort to maintain a straighter course in the run home.
YOUNG CHARLIE trotted roughly in the home straight.
LUCKY PAT'S SON was cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.

LLOYDIN MAGIC raced wide in the early stages.
BEAUDIENE GAMBLER and STUNNING DEAL jostled for a position for some distance passing the 700 metres.
BONNIE EYRE tired from the 500 metres.
PORT HANOVER was held up rounding the final bend by the tiring THE GHOST.
LLOYDIN MAGIC hung inwards in the home straight.
Driver M House (LLOYDIN MAGIC) admitted a breach of Rule 869(2)(a) in that he used his whip excessively in the home straight. After hearing submissions on penalty, Mr House was fined $300 by the JCA.

Trainer M House was fined $100 after presenting PORT DELIGHT to race without the notified blinds.
CLASSIE MARGARET hung inwards when negotiating the first bend.
Stewards investigated a perceived breach of the Push Out Rule near the 1600 metres after SANCY was obliged to race wider on the track after being shifted wider by CULLENZ DIAMOND. After hearing from Drivers J Dunn (SANCY) and R May (CULLENZ DIAMOND), Stewards were satisfied that SANCY had not been progressing forward as CULLENZ DIAMOND shifted outwards. Accordingly no further action was taken.
VERA MAC and MADDISONS DESIRE were held up for clear racing room rounding the final bend.
 
Race 5 PGG WRIGHTSON TROT Video  Video 
The required Veterinary clearance was received for THE SILVER FOX.
KINGDOM COME was a late scratching at 9.00am on Veterinary advice.
The start of this event was delayed due to the over-check on JACKOFDIAMONDS requiring attention.
BLOOD AND WHISKY broke as the start was effected failing to settle and losing considerable ground.
JACKOFDIAMONDS shifted inwards at the start crowding THE SILVER FOX and STELLAR SUCCESS which made contact.
WAIRAKEI MISS raced keenly and skied its head nearing the 1700 metres.
SARAH PALIN over-raced in the middle stages.
WAIRAKEI MISS trotted roughly in the home straight.
SARAH PALIN hung inwards throughout the run home.
BLOOD AND WHISKY again broke in the home straight.
Driver G Lee (JACKOFDIAMONDS) reported that his sulky tyre punctured on the final bend
BLOOD AND WHISKY was placed on the unruly for future standing starts.
 
Race 6 CHANGEOVER JUNIOR DRIVERS MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
VENETO was obliged to race wide through the early stages.
Driver M Purvis admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he allowed COOL CHANGES to strike the sulky wheel of MICKEY JAY when shifting ground outwards near the 1400 metres resulting in MICKEY JAY sustaining a punctured sulky tyre and being retired from the race. After considering submissions on penalty the JCA suspended Mr Purvis' Junior Horseman's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 17 July 2016 (3 days).
THE EDGE OF REASON tired rounding the final bend.
THATS FINE JULIUS was held up for clear racing room rounding the final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
PAY ME WAY and ROCKEFELLER were held up for clear racing room leaving the final bend by the tiring PETITE'S BLUE CHIP.
PAY ME WAY paced roughly near the 100 metres.
Stewards requested a post-race veterinary examination of PETITE'S BLUE CHIP after the gelding returned to the birdcage with blood present in one nostril. This examination determined that PETITE'S BLUE CHIP was not a bleeder.
Driver T Dewe (THE EDGE OF REASON) was warned for using his whip when out of contention.
 
Race 7 FAT SALLY'S PUB & RESTAURANT HANDICAP PACE Video  Video 
BANK RAIDER and I TRY tangled away.
CULLER CODED broke briefly at the start.
SHARDS HALO also broke at the start. A warning was placed on the standing start record of the mare.
GREENBURN CREEK raced keenly in the middle stages.
STAR FANTASY hung inwards rounding the final bend and in the early stages of the home straight.
Driver B Orange briefly dropped his foot from the sulky rest near the 200 metres when activating the removable deafeners on STUNIN DUDE.
STUNIN DUDE paced roughly near the 150 metres.
SHARDS HALO hung outwards over the concluding stages.
Authorisation of 3rd placing being awarded to SHARDS HALO was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations in the early stages.
 
Race 8 SOUTHERN WINES HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
MONNAY broke racing into the first bend.
ARRAN CHIEF hung inwards when improving three wide in the middle stages.
MOMENT OF SUN gave ground passing the 700 metres. Stewards requested a post-race veterinary examination of the mare which revealed no abnormalities.
SUNSPOT and THE ZIGMEISTER tired rounding the final bend.
PYRAMID MAGIC trotted roughly in the early stages of the home straight.
 
Race 9 PGG WRIGHTSON STANDARDBRED PACE Video  Video 
GEORGIE MACH, ILDIVO, and SHE'SA TRICKY BRIDGE broke as the start was effected.
ALLISON STOKKE raced wide in the early stages.
THE VALIANT broke when negotiating the first bend causing a check to ANNA IVY and LEANDER LILY. Driver J Hay reported the colt had broken after he had activated the hopple shorteners. A warning was placed on the racing manners of THE VALIANT.
LEANDER LILY gave ground from the 600 metres.
JULIA LADY gave ground on the final bend with the trailing HOPEFUL HARRIET and ALL NUTS N BOLTS being held up.
ANNA IVY paced roughly rounding the final bend and in the home straight.
ALL NUTS N BOLTS was then held up for clear racing room in the early stages of the run home.
