Race 1 PRYDE'S EASIFEED MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
Trainers G and J Knight were issued with a Minor Infringement Notice and fined $100 after presenting SILVER DALE with the incorrect saddle cloth number.
ROBYN J paced roughly in the score up and was back at the start.
CASINO KING broke as the start was effected inconveniencing the trailing TACT OLLIE shortly after the start. The connections of CASINO KING were warned to improve the gelding's mobile barrier manners.
T C BUSINESS raced wide through the early stages prior to being taken forward to obtain the parked position near the 1600 metres.
ROBYN J hung outwards when negotiating the bend near the 1400 metres checking KOHEN CONNOR with CASINO KING being inconvenienced when taking evasive action. A warning was placed against the racing manners record of ROBYN J.
ROBYN KIM hung outwards over the final 800 metres with Driver B McLellan being unable to fully drive the mare out over the final 100 metres due to the mare's tendency.
KOHEN CONNOR paced roughly rounding the final bend.
TUAS DELIGHT was held up for a short distance rounding the final bend.
IDEAL DENARIO had to be steadied near the 150 metres when BEAUDIENE GAMBLER and ITZ RISKY BUSINESS shifted ground marginally.

PLAY ACTION paced roughly and broke momentarily when negotiating the first bend.
ISOLA BELLA was inclined to hang inwards rounding the bends throughout.
LIVE TO TELL paced roughly rounding the final bend.
 
Race 3 HOLLOWS TIMBER CO. LTD TROT Video  Video 
A false start was declared when TAKENOPRISONERS was fractious and breasted the tape.
THE BADGER broke at the start.
ANOTHER DELIGHT, MONKEY LUCK, FLURRY and SUNDONS FLYER all broke shortly after the start.
SCOTTIE TROUBLE trotted roughly over the early stages.
BELMONT INVASION raced wide without cover over the final 1000 metres.
 
Race 4 HANSEN & KING ENGINEERS LTD MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
BOLD RULER raced wide through the early stages with Driver P Hunter electing to restrain the gelding to the rear of the field to regain cover.
FRANCO NIXON hung inwards when negotiating the bend near the 1500 metres and again when placed under pressure near the 500 metres.
RUN TO HIDE commenced to give ground inside the final 500 metres inconveniencing the trailing CAESAR ROCKS.
Junior Driver A Fitzgerald (RUN TO HIDE) was issued with a warning regarding the use of his whip on a runner out of contention.
CHAL SHOCKED lay outwards under pressure rounding the final bend.
CELESTIAL ARDEN hung inwards rounding the final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
Driver B Orange (CELESTIAL ARDEN) dropped his foot briefly near the 200 metres when activating gear.
Driver R Swain (FRANCO NIXON) reported following the event that only one earplug had been removed when activating the removable deafeners in the run home.
 
Race 5 MIKE HURRING LOGGING LTD FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
GABRIEL MARIE over-raced in the middle stages.
KEZZA'S LASS raced wide without cover through the early stages prior to be taken forward to obtain the parked position near the 1200 metres. KEZZA'S LASS then commenced to give ground passing the 400 metres.
LIS AMORE was held up throughout the run home with Driver M Williamson reporting that he was not afforded the opportunity to activate the removable deafeners.
 
Race 6 STUNIN CULLEN FORBURY SPRINT SERIES FINAL MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
LIVE TO TELL which competed in Race 2, was examined by the veterinary surgeon prior to this event and cleared to start.
RAPHOE (S Walkinshaw) broke when negotiating the first bend after contacting the sulky wheel of CULLER CODED (N Williamson) which shifted inwards when not sufficiently clear. Driver N Williamson defended a subsequent charge pursuant to Rule 869(3)(b) and after hearing evidence from all relevant parties, the JCA found the charge proved and imposed a fine of $350.
HUDSON SULLY raced wide without cover throughout the running.
 
Race 7 CRAMOND & CRAIG LTD MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
AQUICKONE broke as the start was effected losing its chance with a warning being placed on the geldings mobile barrier record. Whilst in a break AQUICKONE shifted inwards contacting the sulky wheel of BE ME.
PERISSA lay outwards in the middle stages of the run home when attempting a marginal run to the inside of MR MEDDLE and then had to be steadied just short of the finish line when racing in restricted room.
When questioned regarding the performance of AMERICAN SPIRIT Driver J Cox advised that he had to work hard through the middle stages which in his opinion took its toll when placed under pressure over the final stages. Stewards requested a post-race veterinary examination on the gelding which revealed no obvious abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with the recovery of AMERICAN SPIRIT with Trainer D Simpson in the coming days.
Driver N Williamson (KIWI FOCUS) admitted a breach of Rule 869(2)(a) in that he used his whip excessively over the concluding stages with the JCA imposing a fine of $300.
 
Race 8 PW ENGINEERING HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
BONO HEST broke briefly as the start was effected.
PYRAMID MAGIC over-raced for a distance passing the 1700 metres.
MOKOSUN commenced to tire from the 700 metres and was not persevered with thereafter. Stewards requested a post-race veterinary examination of MOKOSUN which revealed no obvious abnormalities.
RUBY'S JEWEL shifted ground inwards into the passing lane in the run home. Driver M Williamson was advised that in future he is to make a better effort to maintain a straight line in the run home.
 
Race 9 FORBURY PARK CLAIMERS SERIES FINAL MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
There were no claims lodged.
MOTU SPEEDY STAR broke in the early stages of the score up losing considerable ground and effectively all chance. A warning was placed against the mobile barrier record of MOTU SPEEDY STAR.
SUPERIOR DESIRE which had raced in the parked position for the majority, commenced to weaken inside the final 400 metres and was not persevered with thereafter. Stewards requested a post-race veterinary examination of SUPERIOR DESIRE which revealed no obvious abnormalities. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the gelding with Trainer R Dunn in the coming days.
Driver B Orange (FOUR STARZZZ SHIRAZ) was spoken to regarding the manner in which he drove passing the 200 metres when his foot dropped from the sulky footrest. Mr Orange explained that the cord to activate the removable deafeners had slipped forward positioning him awkwardly in the sulky. After viewing the available footage Stewards noted Mr Orange's comments.
 
Race 10 DAVID LATTA BUILDERS LTD MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
UNDERSTUDY raced wide without cover through the early and middle stages.
FRANCO TYSON improved wide from the 1200 metres before commencing to give ground inside the final 500 metres.
UNDERSTUDY lay inwards when placed under pressure rounding the final bend becoming awkwardly placed near the sulky wheel of THEMAILMAN.
TUHERBS TWO was inclined to lay inwards throughout the home straight.
ARTHUR LOWE was held up over the final 50 metres.
ROCKEFELLER was held up over the concluding stages.
CONCORDE DAWN struck the pylon on the winning post.
Driver P Hunter (JUSTASIP) was warned to change his whip action.
 
Race 11 TINY'S MILTON BUTCHERY TROT Video  Video 
LUCKY PAT'S SON was declared a late scratching at 8:40am with a veterinary certificate supplied.
THANKSFORNOTHING was slow into stride.
JEDDY R YA READY broke at the start losing considerable ground.
MON ARCHIE WAY broke shortly after the start and again on several occasions during the running.
STAR CANDIDATE broke when negotiating the first bend.
THANKSFORNOTHING broke at the 1800 metres.
DUCHESS GRACE trotted roughly passing the 800 metres resulting in the trailing LOXI CLAIRBORNE and TOPNOTCH EAGLE having to be steadied.
MADISON JANE brushed pylons rounding the final bend.
DUCHESS GRACE was placed in restricted room momentarily near the 250 metres when YOUNG CHARLIE shifted inwards. DUCHESS GRACE then trotted roughly throughout the run home.
