Race 8 - TITAN BANNER 'THIRD IN THE JEWELS' MOBILE PACE
Junior Horseman C Smith admitted a breach of Rule 869(2)(a) in that he used his whip excessively from the 300 metres when driving VANHALEM. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the JCA imposed a fine of $250.

Race 5 - HOLDEN COLORADO MOBILE PACE
Trainer N Le Lievre has advised Stewards that blood tests taken from LE VADO following its disappointing performance at Forbury Park last week have established that the filly was suffering by a high white cell count and muscle tie up. Mr Le Lievre added that LE VADO would now be turned out for a lengthy spell.
Race 9 - PRYDE'S EASIFEED MOBILE PACE
Trainer A Hoffman had advised Stewards that following its disappointing performance at Forbury Park last week, extensive veterinary checks of CHAL SHOCKED have failed to detect any abnormality. Miss Hoffman added that the gelding has worked well without blinds this week and will race with that gear change on Thursday at Forbury where an improved showing is expected.

Stable representative J Dunn has advised Stewards that MUSIC has recovered well following its performance at Forbury Park last Thursday and will continue with its preparation as planned.

Race 1 RICOH TROT Video  Video 
The boring pole on LUCKY PAT'S SON was removed prior to the start.
STAR CANDIDATE broke at the start losing considerable ground. STAR CANDIDATE was declared unruly for future standing starts at the request of Trainer A Clark.
CASTLETON TUI was slow through the early stages.
PYRAMID MUSTANG hung inwards and trotted roughly rounding the first bend.
LUCKY PAT'S SON hung inwards rounding the first bend before breaking near the 2250 metres. LUCKY PAT'S SON then trotted roughly for a distance rounding the bend near the 1800 metres.
THANKSFORNOTHING trotted roughly and broke near the 1100 metres losing considerable ground.
MAJESTIC PEAK over raced in the middle stages when racing in the trail.
MAJESTIC PEAK broke near the 400 metres losing its chance.
LUCKY PAT'S SON hung inwards and broke for several strides passing the 200 metres.
Trainer P Williamson was issued with a minor infringement notice pursuant to Rule 864(2)(d) and was fined $100 after the off-hind bandage on BET'S COMMANDO came adrift during the running.
PYRAMID MUSTANG commenced to weaken inside the final 600 metres. Stewards requested a post race Veterinary examination of PYRAMID MUSTANG which revealed an elevated heart rate. Trainer P Williamson advised that the gelding would be sent for a spell.
Driver J Patterson (CASTLETON TUI) reported following the event that his sulky had slipped back during the running.
 
Race 2 DUNEDIN WELCOMES TEST RUGBY SUPPORTERS MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
TUAS DELIGHT raced wide in the early stages.
TILLY PATRON raced wide in the early stages before being improved forward to obtain the parked position near the 1600 metres.
HAYDEN'S MEDDLE paced roughly for a short distance near the 1800 metres.
THUNDA DOWN UNDA broke briefly near the 900 metres and again near the 300 metres. Driver B Barclay advised that in his opinion THUNDA DOWN UNDA was unsuited to the prevailing track conditions.
CARRIE MISS MACH, TUAS DELIGHT and HAYDEN'S MEDDLE had to be steadied passing the 800 metres after a slight easing of the pace.
Driver J Morrison (BEAUDIENE GAMBLER) dropped his foot briefly near the 100 metres. BEAUDIENE GAMBLER paced roughly over the concluding stages.
GANGNAM STYLE ducked inwards over the concluding stages momentarily inconveniencing COOKY near the winning post. Driver N Williamson advised that despite his efforts the gelding had raced greenly when placed under pressure. Authorisation of 1st placing being awarded to GANGNAM STYLE was withheld until Driver C Ferguson (COOKY) advised Stewards that his chances had not been affected by GANGNAM STYLE in the home straight.
 
Race 3 JASON CAYFORD 40th BIRTHDAY HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
SCOTTIE TROUBLE tangled briefly as the start was effected.
ANOTHER DELIGHT broke at the 2400 metres when leading.
BOBBINS over-raced in the middle stages.
BRADS KENNY veered outwards with 600 metres to run inconveniencing SUNDONS FLYER for a short distance.
SCOTTIE TROUBLE commenced to give ground inside the final 500 metres and was not persevered with from thereafter. Junior Driver J Morrison reported that SCOTTIE TROUBLE had choked down during the running. Stewards requested a post race Veterinary examination of SCOTTIE TROUBLE which revealed no abnormalities. Trainer B Straight advised that he would add a cornell collar to the gear of SCOTTIE TROUBLE for future starts.
MA CILLE broke entering the home straight checking the trailing CHEEKY PAT which also broke when taking evasive action.
Driver N Williamson advised that he did not activate the removable deafeners on BRADS KENNY due to having the field covered.
SUNDONS FLYER was removed from the unruly for future standing starts.
 
Race 4 SPEIGHTS FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
LADIES MILE broke in the score up losing all chance. This mare was placed on the unruly for future mobile starts.
FLYIN SUE broke in the early stages of the score up momentarily inconveniencing SANDRA KEITH.
SANDRA KEITH broke shortly after the start losing its chance. A warning was placed on the mobile barrier record of this mare.
MATAI LEXIE raced in restricted room passing the winning post on the first occasion and paced roughly contacting the near side sulky wheel of ROBYN KIM.
IVY MAY DELIGHT paced roughly rounding the first bend.
Driver R Swain (KEZZA'S LASS) dropped his foot from the sulky rest on the home turn when activating gear.
Prior to the Authorisation of placings Driver C Ferguson requested a ruling from the JCA to determine whether LADIES MILE had been afforded a fair start. After hearing the evidence and viewing the replays the JCA were satisfied that LADIES MILE had not been denied a fair start and accordingly the all clear was given.
 
Race 5 JUST ESSENCE CATERING MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
HOKURI RAILRIDA and REAL RAIDER both raced wide in the early stages.
ANSETT FLIGHT, FRANCO TYSON and BETTER GO HURRY all had to be restrained near the 1600 metres after a slight easing of the pace.
MICKEY JAY paced roughly when being pushed wide on the track near the 800 metres.
TUHERBS TWO was held up over the concluding stages with Driver J Cox advising he was not afforded the opportunity to activate the removable deafeners.
BALIUS was held up over the final 150 metres.
HANDLEBAR HANK raced in restricted room over the concluding stages between PEMBROOK HARRY and I TRY, both of which shifted ground under pressure.
 
Race 6 CONGRATULATIONS 50 WINS PHIL WILLIAMSON HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
MR MAJESTIC and RUBY'S JEWEL both broke after 100 metres with RUBY'S JEWEL losing all chance.
MISSANDEI broke racing into the first bend and again near the 2250 metres losing considerable ground.
GRACE LIGHTNING broke with 2300 metres to run.
MOMENT OF SUN was eased out of the race near the 1700 metres due to a punctured off-side sulky tyre.
Driver R Swain (MR MAJESTIC) dropped his foot briefly near the 1100 metres when activating gear.
OCH AYE THE NOO commenced to give ground passing the 600 metres with the trailing SUN'S INVASION and STARLIGHT INVASION being inconvenienced. Stewards requested a post race Veterinary examination which revealed no obvious abnormalities.
SUN'S INVASION was held up for clear racing room through the early stages of the run home until the 100 metres.
Driver G Lee (MOMENT OF SUN) advised Stewards following the event that he had sustained a punctured sulky tyre when locking wheels with MISSANDEI prior to the start. After reviewing video footage Stewards were satisfied that MOMENT OF SUN had been denied a fair start and was subsequently declared a late scratching pursuant to Rule 213(1)(j).
 
Race 7 GLOVER BRICK & BLOCK LTD MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
LIVE TO TELL was back off the gate at dispatch.
HURRICANE BANNER raced wide in the early stages.
QUEST FOR FAME hung inwards and broke when negotiating the bend near the 1900 metres with QUEST FOR FAME then being obliged to race wide until being taken forward to obtain the parked position passing the 1400 metres.
HONEY SMITH had to be restrained when there was a slight easing of the pace near the 1600 metres.
RISK FACTOR was obliged to improve its position wide from the 1200 metres.
QUEST FOR FAME dropped out with 400 metres to run inconveniencing the trailing HURRICANE BANNER. Stewards requested a post race Veterinary examination of QUEST FOR FAME which revealed an elevated heart rate with a Veterinary clearance required before the gelding resumes.
 
Race 8 STUNIN CULLEN FORBURY PARK SPRINT SERIES (HEAT 4)MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
PULLING THE STRINGS and ELI LOWE both raced wide throughout.
HUDSON SULLY was slow through the early stages.
Driver N Williamson (BETTORDEAN) admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(f) in that he drove improperly when he contacted the off-hind leg of his horse with his foot after the line. After hearing submissions on penalty the JCA imposed a fine of $250.
RAPHOE was removed from the unruly for future mobile barrier starting events.
 
Race 9 TINSMITH METALWORKS LTD MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
The boring pole on STUNIN DUDE was removed prior to the start of this race.
FRANCO NIXON hung inwards in the score up and was off the gate at dispatch.
CHAL SHOCKED paced roughly passing the 1800 metres when crowded for room to the inside of OSSESSIONE (B Williamson) which shifted inwards when not sufficiently clear. Junior Driver B Williamson was issued with a warning for the manner in which he drove.
FRANCO NIXON hung inwards and broke simultaneously as PAT CAMPBELL improved to its inside and shifted outwards near the 800 metres. A final warning was placed on FRANCO NIXON with regards to its racing manners.
CHAL SHOCKED was held up for clear racing room at the 150 metres.
 
Race 10 PRYDE'S EASIFEED MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
SCOTLYNN MACH paced roughly in the early stages then improved wide with 1900 metres to run.
LIGHTNING MACH raced wide through the early stages before being taken forward to obtain the parked position near the 1400 metres.
EXPRESSO MARTINI was held up throughout the run home and went to the line without being tested by its driver with Driver M Williamson advising he was not given the opportunity to activate the removable deafeners.
AMERICAN SPIRIT was held up through the early stages of the run home.
BEST OF THE BUNCH paced roughly for a distance passing the 200 metres.
Junior Driver J Young (SCOTLYNN MACH) dropped her foot momentarily passing the 100 metres when activating gear.
SCOTLYNN MACH shifted outwards when under pressure throughout the run home. Junior Driver J Young was warned to make a greater effort to maintain a straight course in the run home.
Driver B Orange (BEYOND BELIEF) was cautioned for allowing his horse to race inside the marker line briefly near the 250 metres.
 
Race 11 FORBURY PARK CLAIMERS SERIES (HEAT 4) MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
ATOM HANOVER broke through the early stages of the score up losing several lengths with this horse being out of position at dispatch.
LOVE THAT GUEST over-raced and galloped through the score up hampering FLEETING GRIN for a short distance with both horses regaining their allotted barrier positions for the start.
LOVE THAT GUEST broke with 1300 metres to run inconveniencing the trailing FLEETING GRIN. A warning was placed against the racing manners record of LOVE THAT GUEST.
VANHALEM raced wide from the 1300 metres before weakening inside the final 500 metres.
Driver J Cox dropped his foot momentarily at the 200 metres when activating gear on ATOM HANOVER.
Driver B Orange dropped his foot briefly from the sulky when activating the gear on FOUR STARZZZ SHIRAZ.
Driver M Williamson advised he was unable to activate the sliding blinds on JERRY FITZ due to the cord breaking.
RUN TO HIDE was claimed by Andrew Fitzgerald by ballot.
