Race 10 - FORBURY PARK CLAIMERS SERIES HEAT 1 MOBILE PACE
Stewards have concluded an investigation into the manner in which R McIlwrick drove throughout upon LAUGHING CAVALIER. After considering all the evidence, with particular regards to the overall time and Mr McIlwricks actions through the middle stages, the Stewards will not be taking the matter any further other than to advise him that in future it was expected that in similar circumstances he should display a better level of judgement.

Race 8 - TITAN BANNER 'THIRD IN THE JEWELS' MOBILE PACE
Trainer B Gray has advised Stewards that LOLA JACCKA has shown no ill-effects from her disappointing run last week at Forbury. He added that the mare has had a brief freshener and depending on her work this weekend will possibly resume at Forbury next week.

Race 1 RICOH TROT Video  Video 
MADABOY and MAJESTIC PEAK came together at the start.
BET'S COMMANDO broke at the start and shifted outwards checking TOPNOTCH EAGLE which also broke. The connections of BET'S COMMANDO were warned to improve the barrier manners of their filly.
MADABOY (J Cox) broke when racing to the inside of MONIBURNS (M Parker) which was hanging inwards near the 2000 metres. Driver J Cox advised the gelding had broken of its own accord prior to being placed in restricted room.
BET'S COMMANDO broke rounding the final bend.
JACKOFDIAMONDS broke when attempting to utilise the passing lane near the 200 metres
MAJESTIC PEAK broke passing the 200 metres with MONIBURNS having to take evasive action.
The hind bandage on MAJESTIC PEAK came adrift during the running. Trainer B Norman was issued with a Minor Infringement notice for failing to affix the gear so as not to come adrift and was fined $100.
 
Race 2 WASHINGTON VC MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
Trainer T Cross was charged a $25 colour fee for ROBYN KIM.
LADIES MILE broke shortly after the start losing several lengths. A warning was placed against the mobile barrier record of this mare.
BUFFALO SOLDIER hung inwards throughout placing Driver M Williamson in difficulty. Due to the gelding's tendency the near side Murphy blind dislodged entering the first bend.
ELI LOWE was inclined to lug outwards through the middle stages.
MATAI LEXIE raced wide over the final 1000 metres.
BUFFALO SOLDIER paced roughly for a short distance near the 800 metres.
LADIES MILE shifted ground outwards abruptly near the 200 metres when trailing the weakening MATAI LEXIE.
CARRIE MISS MACH and MIDNIGHT COWBOY were both held up over the concluding stages.
 
Race 3 SPEIGHTS TROT Video  Video 
DANIELLE AMORE was declared a late scratching at 9:20am on Veterinary advice.
ANOTHER DELIGHT broke entering the first bend with the trailing RUTHLESS SUCCESS being inconvenienced after ANOTHER DELIGHT was shifted to the outside of the track.
FLURRY hung inwards and broke near the 1900 metres losing considerable ground.
HUSTLE HILL broke passing the 1800 metres.
KING KONE commenced to give ground near the 300 metres causing an inconvenience to the trailing RUTHLESS SUCCESS and SCOTTIE TROUBLE. When questioned regarding the performance of KING KONE Driver D Dunn was unable to offer any explanation.
BELMONT INVASION trotted roughly over the final 100 metres.
 
Race 4 WARREN SEYB MEMORIAL MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
TWO PLY hung inwards through the early stages and near the 1500 metres ducked inwards abruptly checking NORTHVIEW BETTA with the trailing ROCKEFELLER, ISOLA BELLA, JUSTASIP, GEORGIE MACH and LEANDER LILY all having to take evasive action. As a result of this incident Driver K Larsen (ISOLA BELLA) reported that he had sustained a punctured sulky tyre. A warning was placed against the racing manners record of TWO PLY.
GEORGIE MACH commenced to over-race when obtaining the parked position near the 1000 metres with the mare then giving ground inside the final 500 metres.
ROCKEFELLER shifted inwards near the 300 metres placing TWO PLY in restricted room. Junior Driver S Tomlinson (ROCKEFELLER) was advised to exercise greater care when shifting ground in the future.
Driver N Buchan reported that GEORGIE MACH had been striking the sulky discs during the running.
 
Race 5 HOLDEN COLORADO MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
T C BUSINESS paced roughly through the latter stages of the score up resulting in the gelding being a length out of position at dispatch.
POCKET CAESAR raced wide rounding the first bend until being restrained to obtain cover near the 1700 metres.
COVAGIRL commenced to give ground near the 500 metres inconveniencing the trailing ASHI JETSUN.
STUNNIN VC was held up for a short distance rounding the final bend and near the 200 metres when hanging outwards became awkwardly placed near the sulky wheel of the tiring LE VADO, causing STUNNIN VC to stumble and go into a break.
When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of LE VADO Driver D Dunn was unable to offer any explanation. Stewards requested a post race Veterinary examination of LE VADO which revealed no obvious abnormalities. Stewards will follow up the recovery of LE VADO with Trainer N Le Lievre in the coming days.
 
Race 6 HOLDEN SPARK HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
A false start was declared due to the 40 metre barrier strand failing to release.
OCH AYE THE NOO broke near the 2000 metres when awkwardly placed near the sulky wheel of PYRAMID MONARCH when there was an easing of the pace in the one-out line.
OVERCAST was retired from the event from the 1200 metres. Driver A Armour reported that he was of the opinion there was something amiss with the mare with a subsequent Veterinary examination revealing a heart irregularity. Trainer A Paisley was advised that a Veterinary clearance would be required prior to OVERCAST resuming. Mr Paisley advised Stewards it would be his intention to spell OVERCAST.
PYRAMID MAGIC broke when placed under pressure near the 250 metres with the trailing OCH AYE THE NOO being inconvenienced.
 
Race 7 COOKE HOWLISON MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
MAGICAL MURF raced wide through the early and middle stages before tiring from the 900 metres. When questioned, Driver J Cox could offer no explanation. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities. Trainer K Fairbairn was advised that a Veterinary clearance would be required prior to MAGICAL MURF resuming.
BAILEYS ROCK raced wide in the early stages before being taken forward to obtain the parked position near the 1600 metres.
BOLD RULER over-raced in the middle stages and near the 800 metres had to be restrained when awkwardly placed when trailing SWEET ALICE.
ONE COOL CHICK lay inwards near the 200 metres locking sulky stays with the tiring JUST SAY GO.
HOKURI RAILRIDA paced roughly over the final 100 metres.
 
Race 8 STUNIN CULLEN FORBURY PARK SPRINT SERIES (HEAT 3)MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
FRANCO TYSON hung inwards and checked MELINA LOWE rounding the first bend with FRANCO TYSON breaking. Trainer L Bond advised that he would be making gear alterations in an attempt to rectify the gelding's wayward tendencies. A warning was placed against the racing manners of FRANCO TYSON.
 
Race 9 PRYDE'S EASIFEED MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
VANHALEM raced wide over the final 900 metres.
CHAL SHOCKED was retired from the event passing the 500 metres. When questioned Driver S Walkinshaw reported that he was disappointed and could offer no tangible explanation as to the poor performance of the gelding. Stewards requested a post race Veterinary examination which revealed no obvious abnormalities. Stewards will follow up the recovery of CHAL SHOCKED with Trainer A Hoffman in the coming days.
RUN TO HIDE was held up rounding the final bend until near the 200 metres.
 
Race 10 HOLDEN SV6 BLACK EDITION MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
BE ME broke as the start was effected losing considerable ground. A warning was placed against the mobile barrier record of BE ME.
EXPRESSO MARTINI broke when shifting ground near the 300 metres.
SPIRIT OF CHRONOS hung inwards rounding the final bend and paced roughly.
When questioned regarding the performance of MUSIC Driver D Dunn reported that the gelding had hung throughout. Stewards requested a post race Veterinary examination which revealed no obvious abnormalities. Stewards will follow up the recovery of MUSIC with Trainer R Dunn in the coming days.
 
Race 11 FORBURY PARK CLAIMERS SERIES (HEAT 3) MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
SUPERIOR DESIRE and FOUR STARZZZ SHIRAZ were claimed from this event.
ELLE KO over raced through the early stages.
ALL NUTS N BOLTS paced roughly near the 1400 metres.
LOVE THAT GUEST over raced through the early and middle stages before commencing to give ground near the 700 metres inconveniencing the trailing ALL NUTS N BOLTS. LOVE THAT GUEST when giving ground lugged inwards soon after resulting in HANDLEBAR HANK breaking when in restricted room.
