SPECIAL DELIGHT broke in the score up and was back a length at the start.
WAIHEMO ART raced wide in the early stages.
ELUSIVE FLIGHT paced roughly near the 1400 metres.
RUSSET NORKOTAH gave ground from the 500 metres with the trailing RED UNDER FIRE being held up.
RED UNDER FIRE paced roughly near the 400 metres when improving wide on the track.
Driver A Edge reported that WAIHEMO ART had hung inwards rounding the final bend causing him some difficulty.
Driver M Hallett (TUFFLITTLEROOSTER) was shown a replay and warned to change her whip action.

AGATHA TYRON broke at the start.
WOOMAMASAMPSON broke shortly after the start.
LIGHTWORKOFIT broke racing towards the first bend.
WOOMAMASAMPSON broke again on several occasions.
ANOTHERDOLLYTROUBLE broke rounding the final bend.
REDWOOD INVASION hung inwards in the home straight.
CLOVER LADY and TUI NOVA broke over the concluding stages.
LIGHTWORKOFIT broke shortly after when being hampered by the breaking CLOVER LADY.
PYRAMID MUSTANG trotted roughly near the 50 metres.
Authorisation of 1st placing was withheld until Stewards questioned driver M Williamson (PYRAMID MUSTANG) in relation to the run home when REDWOOD INVASION which was leading hung inwards into the passing lane. Mr Williamson advised his chances were not affected.
 
Race 3 PGG WRIGHTSON PACE Video  Video 
TO RI ALBY swung sideways and then broke at the start checking LAVISH LUSTRE. A warning was placed on the standing start record of TO RI ALBY.
MIGHTY AMERICAN and GREEN MACHINE also broke at the start.
STATE LAW raced greenly as the start was effected and shifted inwards.
SMACKWATER JACK and STATE LAW raced wide in the early stages.
STATE LAW over-raced in the middle stages.
LAVISH LUSTRE over-raced passing the 1000 metres when being restrained to trail MIGHTY AMERICAN.
DAYS OF PASSION gave ground from the 500 metres inconveniencing the trailing TO RI ALBY.
GREEN MACHINE also gave ground on the final bend.
JUNKYARD MASE raced greenly near the 300 metres when being shifted wider on the track with TO RI ALBY being hampered briefly.
 
Race 4 NORTH OTAGO MOTOR GROUP FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED broke shortly after the start with the trailing JANICES CULLEN having to take evasive action. A warning was placed on the mobile barrier record of ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED.
ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED over-raced in the middle stages.
SARAH KATE hung outwards throughout the home straight.
 
Race 5 MORRISONS SADDLERY & FEED MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
JAMES DEAN and WOBBEGONG raced wide in the early stages.
MILLWOOD CHARITY and MAN OF CHANGE over-raced in the middle stages.
JUNIOR hung outwards and paced roughly near the 300 metres.
ATOM EXPRESS hung inwards and paced roughly near the 250 metres. ATOM EXPRESS continued to hang inwards throughout the final straight.
WOBBEGONG had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
FLAMBOYANT was held up throughout the home straight.

SIOUX NATION, LAURAGRACE, DONEGAL RUNDLESCREEK and CLAUS broke at the start. A warning was placed on the standing start record of SIOUX NATION.
 
Race 7 SOUTHERN WINES JUNIOR DRIVERS MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
BLINGITON broke shortly after the start. A warning was placed on the mobile barrier record of the gelding.
GOING TO CALIFORNIA which was over-racing broke when negotiating the first bend after an easing of the pace with the trailing OK I'M BAD, AUTOMATIC and PAY ME WAY being inconvenienced. Stewards questioned driver D Keast with the assistance of senior horseman C Markham regarding this and after hearing his explanation took the matter no further.
ANIKA LINDENNY over-raced in the middle stages.
BLINGITON and GOING TO CALIFORNIA gave ground rounding the final bend.
PAY ME WAY paced roughly in the home straight.
Driver M Anderson (CROFT BAY) was warned to make a greater effort to ensure his feet remain in the sulky rests.

HE'S LIKE THE WIND underwent a pre-race veterinary inspection and was cleared to start.
HUSTLE HILL began awkwardly.
PLAYBOY'S BROTHER and O'DRISCOLL trotted roughly over the early stages.
SUNSPOT over-raced in the middle stages.
HUSTLE HILL broke briefly near the 500 metres.
SUNNY DEMON broke rounding the final bend.
HE'S LIKE THE WIND broke near the 250 metres.
KERRYN KYLIE broke passing the 200 metres.
ROCKNPOP was cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.

MAYBE FLYIN was a late scratching at 8.00am on Veterinary advice.
EASY RIDER and CANNDEW tangled away.
WOODLEA LEGEND over-raced in the middle stages.
MANY OPTIONS tired passing the 700 metres inconveniencing STUNIN DUDE and BANK RAIDER. A post-race veterinary examination of MANY OPTIONS revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the racing performance of MANY OPTIONS.
MANY OPTIONS and BANK RAIDER locked wheels near the 500 metres.
CANNDEW hung inwards rounding the final bend.
 
Race 10 FAT SALLY'S PUB & RESTAURANT MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
AQUICKONE over-raced in the middle stages when in the parked position.
EXPRESSO MARTINI paced roughly on the final bend when improving wide.
AS KIWI AS was held up for clear racing room in the early stages of the run home.
Driver J Dunn (MUSIC) was warned to change his whip action.
