After the barrier strands had been released with the start being effected, REINE DES GITANS swung sideways causing interference to MEYER LANSKY which had drawn unruly 1 on the 20 metre mark this in turn severely impeded the progress of NEVER FEAR with FRANCO NADAL veering away sideways causing a check to SIR GEORGE GREY which in turn resulted in a check to THE PRINCE which broke taking some time to settle. The sulkies of REINE DES GITANS and MEYER LANSKY became entangled dislodging Junior Driver A Drake from the sulky and MEYER LANSKY fell to the track. The Club's Veterinarian examined MEYER LANSKY and REINE DES GITANS and found no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the standing start manners of REINE DES GITANS. | |
