GRENADO was fractious prior to the barrier strands being released, stood on the mark and was slow away.
ANZAC broke at the start.
ITSNOWORNEVER raced in tight quarters inside ANZAC racing into the first bend.
MADDISON WILD was inclined to over-race over the early stages and hung badly rounding the final bend contacting pylons.
Driver M. McKendry advised that he did not activate the removable deafeners on NO ORDINARY SUN due to the gelding trotting very unevenly throughout the run home.
An investigation was held into an incident where ITSNOWORNEVER (N. Chilcott) was tightened for room racing into the first bend. ITSNOWORNEVER was racing inside ANZAC which in turn was racing inside VENTIMIGLIA (L. Neal). Drivers N. Chilcott and L. Neal were shown the video coverage, questioned by Stewards and reminded of their obligations.

CHRISTIAN FALCON was inclined to over-race in the middle stages.
FLANYATTICE contacted pylons rounding the final bend.

REV THE CHEV broke for three strides shortly after the start. A warning was placed on this gelding's mobile barrier manners.
BOPPER JET broke early in the score up and was pulled up. A warning was placed on the mobile barrier manners of this gelding.
REV THE CHEV broke briefly near the 800 metres.
ARYA FAMOUS weakened from inside the 400 metres.
RUNCLE failed to get clear racing room until inside the last 150 metres.

SANDPARK SENATOR failed to maintain a trailing position in the one one and was shifted three wide inside the 500 metres. The gelding then hung rounding the final bend and weakened out.

MOB STAR broke at the start losing considerable ground and its chance.
LA MAITRE DIX broke shortly after the start losing its chance.
YALDY BOYZ broke approaching the 150 metres.
The authorisation of the payment of the 3rd placing of HOT CHOCOLATE TART (N. Chilcott) was withheld until such time that it was established that this horse did not gain an advantage when starting from an incorrect barrier position of three instead of barrier position one on the front line. HOT CHOCOLATE TART backed out and shifted wider on the track prior to the start and despite Driver N. Chilcott's efforts to alert the Starter, the start was effected. Driver Z. Butcher advised that LA MAITRE DIX was not impeded by HOT CHOCOLATE TART at the start. Stewards also declared that HOT CHOCOLATE TART was not denied a fair start by being out of position at the start as the mare's chances were not materially prejudiced. Starter F. Phelan was shown the video coverage and spoken to advisedly.

LADYTORO was inclined to hang inward on the bends.

MEYER LANSKY broke at the start.
ANGUS FOGG broke briefly shortly after the start.
AGNES BROWN was slow to begin and raced wide rounding the first bend before breaking approaching the 2200 metres, losing several lengths.
AGNES BROWN broke near the 550 metres losing its chance.
GETAWAY DOUG and MEYER LANSKY both commenced to give ground inside the 400 metres.
THE CROWN JEWELS lay out when placed under pressure in the final straight.
Junior Horseman M. Anderson (THE CROWN JEWELS) momentarily dropped his foot from the sulky foot rest passing the 150 metres when activating gear.
