Race 1 MASTERGUARD FIRE & SECURITY LTD TROT Video  Video 
THE FOX and LOOK AHEAD had a warning placed on their standing start record after displaying poor barrier manners which delayed the start.
BELMONT'S GREATEST broke at the start. This gelding then hung inwards when negotiating the first bend causing a check to MOY.
MAGNAFIQUE paced away obliging horseman R Holmes to check this filly into its correct gait.
NO FEARS broke shortly after the start and trotted roughly throughout the home straight.
WOOMAMASAMPSON broke when negotiating the first bend and again nearing the 1400 metres.
MEDUSA trotted roughly when negotiating the first bend. This filly then trotted roughly round the final bend and throughout the run home.
MOY gave ground from the 600 metres.
Horseman S McNally advised he did not activate the removable deafeners on the winner DARK OPS.
DARK OPS was subjected to a post-race endoscopic examination after returning to the winner's enclosure with blood present in a nostril. This examination found the blood to have come from a small wound inside the nostril with no stand down deemed necessary.
 
Race 2 HOKONUI MID CANTERBURY FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
BLACK RAINE over-raced in the early stages when being restrained towards the rear of the field.
GOTTA MAMA broke near the 700 metres.
WESTBURN VISION (K Cox) raced erratically near the 600 metres after getting its tail over the rein causing an inconvenience to SMOOTH FIRE. Horsewoman K Cox advised she would be recommending the filly have its tail tied for its upcoming starts.
 
Race 3 MORGAN FENCING MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
DONEGAL RUNDLESCREEK was briefly inconvenienced shortly after the start by CRUZY DUDE which shifted ground outwards simultaneous to FLAMBOYANT which shifted inwards.
DONEGAL RUNDLESCREEK was obliged to race wide through the early stages.
BEAU SANCY tired rounding the final bend locking wheels with MAN OF CHANGE causing this gelding to lose all momentum. Stable representative J Dunn advised they would no longer be persevering with BEAU SANCY as a racing proposition from their stable.
 
Race 4 STEWART & HOLLAND PACE Video  Video 
JOEY MAGUIRE, MOON ANGEL, CANNDEW and DOUBLE SHOT all broke at the start.
SANS LE SOU was inclined to lay inwards over the concluding stages.
 
Race 5 CHERTSEY TROTTING CLUB PACE Video  Video 
PEMBROOK HARRY broke at the start.
CHAMPAGNE REIGN broke at the start and proved difficult to steer for driver C DeFilippi throughout the run home.
NYREE FRANCO was slow to begin.
ALANTIC had a warning placed on its racing record after it broke near the 2000 metres then hung inwards rounding the final bend breaking again near the 300 metres.

Trainer B Kerr was fined the sum of $100 after presenting LAURAGRACE to race without the notified sliding blinds.
GAME CHANGER had a warning placed on its barrier manners after it stood on the mark as the start was effected.
SONNETSSON also had a warning placed on its barrier manners after it broke at the start.
CHAPTER ONE (J Cox) was held up for clear racing room through the early stages of the run home and made contact with the outside sulky wheel of ARDENT LUSTRE (B Orange) which deflated nearing the 350 metres when ARDENT LUSTRE shifted outwards. Horseman B Orange was shown the films and cautioned for improving outwards when not sufficiently clear.
Horseman C Thornley reported he was unable to activate the removable deafeners on JEWELZ due to the cord breaking.
 
Race 7 MCINTOSH CATERING PACE Video  Video 
ROZZANO broke at the start.
DYNAMO broke at the start before settling and breaking again for a distance losing its chance. Trainer J McDermott advised that DYNAMO would be restricted to mobile starts in future.
CAPITAL PLAN broke at the start for a distance also losing its chance.
ROCK OF AGES was slow to begin.
TOM ME GUN tangled and was slow to begin. This gelding was inclined to hang inwards throughout the run home.
JAMES DEAN was held up for clear racing room in the early and middle stages of the run home.
When questioned regarding the performance of JUNKYARD MASE horseman G O'Reilly reported that he was disappointed with the effort of the gelding and added that the horse had made abnormal breathing noises following the race. Stewards requested a veterinary check including an endoscopic examination which failed to detect any abnormalities. Mr O'Reilly advised Stewards that he would have blood tests taken from JUNKYARD MASE in the coming delays and would report the findings to Stewards.
 
Race 8 NEWLANDS MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
The half blinds were removed from ONE BIG FELLA prior to the start after warming up unfavourably.
ULTIMATE DESIRE raced wide in the early stages.
Horseman N McGrath (ONE BIG FELLA) dropped his foot momentarily entering the home straight.
CHRISTOPHER BANNER was held up through the early stages of the run home.
Junior Horsewoman K Blakemore (RUMMAGE), in the presence of Senior horseman G Smith, was shown the films and advised to change her whip action.
Stewards requested a post-race veterinary assessment of SCARLETT BANNER which included an endoscopic examination, after horseman G Smith reported the filly had been making abnormal breathing noise with no abnormalities detected. Mr Smith reported that he would be adding a cornell collar to the filly's gear for its next start.
 
Race 9 FARMLANDS HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
DONEGAL BETTORGRETCH broke as the start was effected losing ground.
MAJESTIC DE FENCE (J Morrison) broke as the start was effected and was forced to race wider on the track nearing the 1100 metres when racing on the outside of KOWHAI MONARCH (S Ottley). MAJESTIC DE FENCE then proceeded to tire rapidly from the 900 metres. Stewards investigated a perceived breach of the Push Out Rule and after interviewing drivers J Morrison, S Ottley and B Butt as the driver of MOMENTOUS which was racing to the inside of KOWHAI MONARCH and viewing all available films which Stewards deemed to be inconclusive to apportion blame on any one driver, the matter was taken no further.
JEAN SEBASTIEN trotted in an uneven fashion through the early stages.
BACARDI N COKE trotted roughly when negotiating the first bend.
ONE OVER DOVER broke near the 2000 metres and again nearing the 1300 metres with horseman S McNally retiring the gelding from the event.
 
Race 10 DEVON TAVERN MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
EASY RIDER paced roughly nearing the 1600 metres and again at various stages throughout the running with this gelding breaking nearing the 500 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed minor abrasions to its off front pastern consistent with the gelding cross firing.
ROYAL COUNSEL raced keenly through the middle stages.
SAILS broke over the concluding stages and continued on in a break across the finishing line. Authorisation of 2nd placing being awarded to SAILS was withheld until Stewards confirmed that the mare had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations when in a break at this stage of the race.
