Race 1 MITAVITE HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
LITTLE MO broke racing towards the first bend losing considerable ground.
LITTLE MO hung inwards near the 1000 metres locking stays with LE REVEUR momentarily.
LE LUA INVASION hung inwards passing the 900 metres dislodging several markers.
LE LUA INVASION lay inwards again passing the 300 metres and raced over a number of markers before galloping briefly entering the home straight. A warning was placed against this mare's racing manners.
BOBBY BREEN was held up early on the final turn.
LE REVEUR (favourite) raced three wide without cover from the 900 metres but only battled in the run home to finish in 3rd place beaten 2.5 lengths.
 
Race 2 SIMS PACIFIC METALS MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
LIKE A HURRICANE over-raced in the early and middle stages.
CABLE BEACH paced roughly rounding the final bend and throughout the run home. Stable representative G Court advised an over-check would be added to the horse's gear in the future.
HANK BROMAC was held up throughout the run home. Driver A. Herlihy advised he did not activate the removable deafeners.
LIKE A HURRICANE and MAX PHACTOR were both held up over the concluding stages.
When questioned regarding the performance of the well favoured BET OUT OF ELL, Driver R. May stated the gelding had felt lethargic throughout also adding the gelding had failed to handle the bends when hanging outwards. A subsequent veterinary examination failed to detect any abnormalities. Trainer A. Donnelly advised that she would be having a further veterinary examination carried out in the coming days and undertook to notify Stewards if anything came to light.

AGNES BROWN broke racing towards the first bend.
DUKE CASTLETON and LANDORA'S GIRL broke when negotiating the first bend with LANDORA'S GIRL checking the trailing NATURAL which in turn checked LUCKY FORTUNE with both runners breaking and coming back on to REINE DES GITANS which had to be steadied. GINTARAS was also checked in this incident and broke losing all chance.
HABIBI INTA had to take evasive action when clearing breaking runners on the first bend.
DUKE CASTLETON was caught wide in the middle stages.
GEORGE broke with 150 metres to run.
 
Race 4 CROMBIE LOCKWOOD FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
DELIGHTFUL DASH broke in the early stages of the score up, being in position at the start.
VALOR LUSTRE, ALIANTE and BETTER B AMAZED raced three wide in the early and middle stages.
ARDEN'S CHOICE raced wide from the 600 metres.
DELIGHTFUL DASH, which raced three wide from the 1600 metres, tired rounding the final bend.
LIBERTY STYX paced roughly for several strides passing the 200 metres after contacting the sulky of ALIANTE after both runners shifted ground marginally.
Driver T. Williams (MISS DAISY) was cautioned for the manner in which he shifted ground near the 100 metres which resulted in JO'S DREAM being checked momentarily.
 
Race 5 MAGNESS BENROW SIRES STAKES FILLIES CHAMPIONSHIP (MOBILE) Video  Video 
FLYING MISS MAC broke in the score up slightly inconveniencing CASINO BELLE and JEWEL ON THE BEACH. A warning was placed on the mobile barrier manners record of this filly.
JEWEL ON THE BEACH broke when negotiating the first bend hampering STRAWBERRY STRIDE.
TACHYON raced greenly racing near the 1200 metres when hanging inwards, inconveniencing the trailing FLYING MISS MAC.
READY TO FIRE raced wide throughout before tiring over the final stages.
CASINO BELLE was held up near the 350 metres.
SPIRIT OF DELIGHT was held up in the early stages of the run home.
 
Race 6 BRECKON FARMS NORTHERN TROTTING DERBY (MOBILE) Video  Video 
LEMOND and GERSHWIN broke when negotiating the first bend with LEMOND checking SEA EYRE which lost its chance.
GERSHWIN then commenced to race fiercely and was unable to be restrained when improving into the passing lane near the 2200 metres.
GERSHWIN broke again near the 1400 metres and at the 400 metres. The connections of GERSHWIN were warned to improve the racing manners of this gelding.
WILMA'S MATE hung outwards over the concluding stages.
A Protest was lodged into the 5th place being awarded to LEMOND alleging the gelding had galloped in excess of 150 metres over the early stages. The Protest was not contested by the connections with LEMOND being disqualified.
 
Race 7 DAWSON HARFORD & PARTNERS NZ MESSENGER CHAMPIONSHIP (MOBILE) Video  Video 
ROBBIE BURNS and LITTLE RASCAL over-raced in the middle stages.
LITTLE RASCAL was retired from the event near the 800 metres after the gelding had choked down. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners record.

VALMAGNE broke for several strides at the start.
JAG'S INVASION hung at various stages.
WATERLOO SUNSET broke passing the 500 metres.
SHEEMON hung inwards and struck markers rounding the final bend.
Driver M. McKendry (YAGUNNAKISSMEORNOT) was advised to position his foot back in the sulky foot rest earlier in future after the standing start.

A DAMN GOOD EXCUSE broke briefly racing into the first bend.
A DAMN GOOD EXCUSE was held up late in the run home.

CALLENBERG paced roughly shortly after the start and then again on the final turn.
BETTOR DREAM contacted several markers rounding the final bend when hanging inwards.
