Co-Trainer G Knight advised Stewards that after retiring LIONELS MEDDLE (Race 10) at its most previous start on the 13th August 2015 the connections had decided to continue with the gelding's racing career.
Selected horses on today's programme were subjected to pre-race blood testing.

Race 1 FAREWELL PEPPERMINT SAM TROT Video  Video 
PYRAMID MUSTANG broke at the start losing considerable ground. Trainer P Williamson requested this gelding be placed on the unruly for its upcoming standing starts.
BONE IDOL trotted in an uneven fashion and was slow through the early stages.
BELMONT'S GREATEST broke for a distance over the initial stages.
CLOVER LADY broke after 200 metres losing several lengths.
MAJESTIC PEAK broke near the 1700 metres when attempting to improve its position.
PURE EMOTION broke when trailing near the 1200 metres losing ground. This mare then broke again near the 700 metres losing its chance.
WINGHAM WELL broke near the 1100 metres losing considerable ground and effectively losing its chance.
JACKOFDIAMONDS broke near the 150 metres.

BULLYS PRINCESS tangled away.
WASHINGTONS CHANCE had a warning placed on its barrier manners after it broke as the start was effected and ran outwards abruptly checking SILVER DALE and causing an inconvenience to DREAMCOAT.
AKRIS broke through the early stages losing its chance.
DREAMCOAT raced wide from the 1100 metres.
WASHINGTONS CHANCE was held up for racing room by the tiring MISS STELLA rounding the final bend.
When questioned regarding the performance of DIAMOND STAR Driver B Orange expressed disappointment, with a subsequent Veterinary examination revealing no significant abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with the recovery of DIAMOND STAR with Trainer P Court in the coming days.
 
Race 3 HAPPYHIRE MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
NATURAL COURAGE raced fierce in the score up. This gelding worked forward through the early stages to race in the parked position and proceeded to tire from the 600 metres inconveniencing JUSTASIP for a short distance.
TUAPEKA TOFF over raced through the early stages when being restrained.
MACHINEGUN KELLY commenced to tire from the 600 metres resulting in CORINGA DELIGHT being held up until early in the run home and effectively losing its chance.
 
Race 4 VETPRO MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
ROXY ROX had a warning placed on its barrier manners after it broke through the early stages of the score up resulting in the mare being several lengths out of position at the dispatch.
GOD OF WAR broke briefly as the start was effected.
KEZZA'S LASS had a warning placed on its barrier manners after it hung inwards and broke shortly after the start losing a considerable amount of ground.
SHAKEY LOCH had a warning placed on its racing manners after it paced roughly through the early stages and broke when negotiating the first bend. This gelding then paced roughly at various stages throughout the event and hung inwards proving difficult to steer for Driver D Dunn. Trainer G Anderson advised it was his intention to make gear changes and return the gelding to the trials prior to resuming.
TO RI ALBY paced roughly and raced wide for a short distance near the 900 metres when improving its position.
LISECKI tired rounding the final bend causing an inconvenience to ROXY ROX.
 
Race 5 JUST ESSENCE CATERING TROT Video  Video 
Trainer R Wilson (ANOTHER DELIGHT) was fined $100 for presenting his mare with the incorrect number.
Starter W Ferguson turned the field away to reassemble after several runner approached the barrier unorganised.
HUSTLE HILL trotted roughly for a short distance approaching the first bend.
ARMORI raced wide from the 1100 metres.
SUNDON INVASION trotted roughly before breaking with 600 metres to run.
OVERCAST broke near the 400 metres losing its chance.
ANOTHER DELIGHT was held up for clear racing room through the early and middle stages of the run home.
YGRITTE trotted in an uneven fashion and hung over the latter stages with Driver J Cox advising he elected to refrain from activating this mares removable gear due to this.
 
Race 6 CHRIS CAYFORD 35TH BIRTHDAY JUNIOR DRIVERS MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
WOZNIACKI raced wide in the early stages prior to being approved to a parked position near the 1600 metres.
ELUSIVE FLIGHT raced wide through the early stages.
MICKEY JAY raced wide over the final 1000 metres.
NOMATTERMEE raced keenly throughout.
CROFT BAY struggled to maintain its position down the back straight on the last occasion and was eased wider on the track.
 
Race 7 PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION PACE Video  Video 
PEGASUS KOMMANDER tangled briefly as the start was effected.
ANSETT FLIGHT broke briefly as the start was effected.
DROVER'S EYRE broke for a distance at the start.
BILLY KLONDIKE which led from the outset proceeded to tire from the 600 metres causing an inconvenience to FRANCO NIXON. FRANCO NIXON then raced greenly nearing the 200 metres when being improved inward to make a run.
THISGIRLISONFIRE was held up for clear racing room through the early and middle stages of the run home.
Driver S Walkinshaw was fined the sum of $300 by the JCA after he admitted using his whip excessively over the concluding stages when driving out GREAT ABBEY.
 
Race 8 GOODBYE BARRY KITTO MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
EXPRESSO MARTINI raced wide through the early stages prior to obtaining the parked position near the 400 metres.
FRANCO EXETER (W Higgs) commenced to weaken near the 600 metres. Mr Higgs was shown the replay films and cautioned regarding his whip use. Stewards requested a post race Veterinary examination of FRANCO EXETER which revealed that the horse was found to be lethargic with Stewards to follow this up with Trainer M Jones in the coming days.
Horseman B Orange dropped his foot briefly when activating the removable gear on BEYOND BELIEF in the early stages of the run home.
 
Race 9 PINELEA FARM STUNIN CULLEN MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
EASTBURN MARA raced keenly and became awkwardly placed to the back of SPIRIT OF CHRONOS nearing the 400 metres.
 
Race 10 WASHINGTON VC MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
MISSY MACH was inclined to hang inwards when racing round the bends.
JERRY FITZ raced keenly whilst leading.
VERA'S DELIGHT was held up rounding the final bend.
Junior horseman J Morrison (MOTU SPEEDY STAR) was cautioned to change his whip action.
MISSY MACH was successfully claimed via ballot.
