Race 1 G T CHAMBERLAIN BUILDERS LTD MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
GET CARTER had a warning placed against it's barrier record after it broke as the start was effected severely checking LEANDER LILY.
COMBIEN raced wide through the middle stages and commenced to give ground from the 600 metres inconveniencing GET CARTER.
FEAR XCHANGE paced roughly entering the home straight and broke briefly shortly afterwards.
TILLY PATRON was held up for clear racing room through the early stages of the run home.
 
Race 2 WOODLANDS MOTORS LTD / CALDWELL CONTRACTING HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
YGRITTE broke as the start was effected losing its chance.
GRACE O'MALLEY hung inwards and broke with 2600 metres to run.
HENGROEN hung inwards and lost ground passing the 1400 metres then broke approaching the 900 metres losing its chance.
ANOTHER CRUSHER broke when leading passing the 600 metres.
GREY POWER trotted roughly and lost ground when racing wide rounding the final turn obliging driver N Williamson to balance this gelding.
 
Race 3 MLT / PIONEER TAVERN EDENDALE MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
VAN EVA hung outwards and was slow through the middle stages. This mare then raced greenly nearing the 1700 metres and was held up through the early stages of the run home with horseman M Williamson advising that due to this he did not activate this mare's removable deafeners.
EASTBURN MARA raced greenly through the early stages. When questioned regarding the improved performance of EASTBURN MARA trainer A Hoffman advised that the gelding had been working well since joining her stable and had not been suited by the pattern of its previous race day start. Miss Hoffman added EASTBURN MARA found having the speed on and the more favourable run it had received today was more to its liking.
DACHY over raced through the middle stages.
When questioned regarding the performance of MOONDYNE JOE driver B Barclay advised he was under pressure throughout and in his opinion the gelding had not backed up from its previous run at Winton on Friday.

The field was turned away to re address the barrier after several runners displayed poor barrier manners.
CELEBRITY EASTON, TACT MINAJ, GEN MAC VC and DANCING DIXIE broke over the initial stages.
CELEBRITY EASTON commenced to tire nearing the 400 metres.
DANCING DIXIE was held up for clear racing room through the early and middle stages of the run home.

TICKS BABE was unable to hold the trailing position negotiating the first bend despite the efforts of driver M Parker.
MANDOLIN had to be steadied after pacing roughly when being improved outwards to make its run nearing the 250 metres.

B D WINDERMERE was slightly out of position at the dispatch and was then obliged to race wide without cover through the early stages.
PULLING THE STRINGS was obliged to race three wide without cover from the 1300 metres with this taking its toll on the gelding rounding the final bend.

FIRST FLIGHT IN was slow to leave the pre-race circle and was slightly back at the dispatch point.
SWEET LORESS was inclined to over race when racing in the parked position over the early stages.
TUAPEKA TROY was held up for clear racing room throughout the run home.
THE TISBURY TERROR contacted and dislodged a track marker exiting the home bend.
When questioned regarding the improved performance of BETTOR'S AVENUE trainer W Adams could offer no reason other than to attribute it to the addition of blinds to the gelding's racing gear.
Junior horsewoman S Tomlinson (MACARDO) was shown the replays of the concluding stages and cautioned to change her whip action.
 
Race 8 SUNSHINE BEACH AT ALABAR HANDICAP PACE Video  Video 
GROOMSMAN and EVEN FLO broke briefly as the start was effected.
DELIGHTFUL DASH broke at the start losing ground.
BETTOR'S BRIGADIER had a warning placed on its standing start manners after it broke at the start effectively losing its chance.
SHAK'N CULLEN raced keenly throughout the event.
DELIGHTFUL DASH was held up for clear racing room through the early and middle stages of the run home.
DEVIL MAY CARE received a punctured sulky tyre entering the home straight.
When questioned regarding the performance of ALL JOKES ASIDE trainer/driver C Barron advised that given the gelding was obliged to race in the parked position for the final 1500 metres and the race was run in track record time he was only slightly disappointed with the effort.

The start of this event was delayed 3 minutes at the request of the TAB.
TWO PLY was out of position at the dispatch and given this geldings recent indiscretions from behind the mobile barrier it is to be drawn unruly for its future mobile starts. This gelding was then inclined to hang inwards through the early and middle stages.
RIGHTEOUS HONOUR after working through the early stages commenced to tire from the 500 metres.
