Race 1 SEALORD MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
PLATINUM BELLE lay out early in the score up inconveniencing TYCHE. PLATINUM BELLE was improved from the rear racing down the back straight the last time and raced greenly shifting wider on the track.
TYCHE was half a length back off the gate at the start.
 
Race 2 SHORE MARINER HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
A Minor Infringement Notice was issued and a $100.00 fine imposed on Co-Trainers F Cooney and T Hopkins for presenting LA MAITRE DIX to race without the proper numbered saddle cloth attached.
SIR HENRY CASTLETON broke at the start losing considerable ground.
VIKING RULER broke approaching the 1600 metres inconveniencing LA MAITRE DIX, with VIKING RULER settling 15 metres to the rear of the field.
BACARDI N COKE, when in the trail, broke passing the 500 metres, losing its chance.
IL PIRATA broke passing the 400 metres losing considerable ground.
LA MAITRE DIX was held up over the early stages of the run home and was observed to trot roughly when clear.
 
Race 3 BEEHIVE FOODSERVICE MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
Co-Trainers L Hollis and S Robertson were charged a colour fee of $25.00 for VINLAND.
BETTABE PERFECT paced unevenly in the score up and was half a length out of position at the start and then broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground, inconveniencing AMERICAN FLYBYE. A warning was placed on this gelding's mobile barrier manners.
MISCHIEF MAKER was inclined to lay in rounding the first bend.
TUAPEKA SKY over-raced in the middle stages. TUAPEKA SKY contacted pylons rounding the final bend.
POPPY MAGUIRE tangled for a couple of strides passing the 1200 metres when racing at the rear.
VINLAND paced unevenly over the latter stages of the run home.
 
Race 4 DUNSTAN SPEED SERIES (HEAT 2) MOBILE TROT Video  Video 
A Minor Infringement Notice was issued and a fine of $100.00 imposed on Trainer R. Dunn for presenting ALL ROYAL GAL without the notified removable deafeners.
TERESKOVA was slow to move away from the pre-race circle and in the score up was inclined to hang inward being four lengths out of position at the start.
 
Race 5 FONTERRA 'DAIRY FOR LIFE' HANDICAP PACE Video  Video 
Trainer B. Purdon (IDEAL BELLE) was charged a colour fee of $25.00.
CHARLESTON BELLE broke at the start losing at least 20 metres.
CULINARY DELIGHT over-raced in the middle stages.
IDEAL BELLE (favourite) was improved three wide from the rear from inside the 800 metres and raced four wide rounding the home bend running on well for its 3rd placing.
 
Race 6 KILLINCHY GOLD HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
REGAL PETITE broke at the start and settled at the rear.
Horseman B. Mangos (IDLE BONES) dropped his right foot from the sulky footrest on the final turn. He advised the mare was hanging rounding the final bend and that he dropped his foot in an attempt to shift his sulky away from the marker line. His explanation was accepted, however, he was reminded of his obligations. He also advised that his whip became entangled in the tail when he was attempting to drive IDLE BONES out and he dropped it passing the 100 metres.
 
Race 7 HEINZ WATTIES MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
A Minor Infringement Notice was issued and a fine of $100.00 imposed on Trainer J. Abernethy for presenting RIVER EMPEROR without the notified sliding blinds.
CELTIC WARRIOR over-raced in the early stages and was improved three wide from inside the 1400 metres and progressed forward in an attempt to reach the lead, eased to take a trail and proceeded to over-race again from inside the 800 metres.
RIVER EMPEROR was caught three wide early, progressed forward in an attempt to reach the lead with 2000 metres to run then was eased to race one out without cover at the 1900 metres. The gelding was inclined to race keenly in this position and weakened in the back straight the last time finishing well back. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

DEMOISELLE was slow over the initial stages.
PRIMUS INTER PARES was slow over the initial stages and broke inside the 1100 metres losing its chance.
DARK OPS broke for several strides inside the 1800 metres, settling quickly.
CLOVER CHANCE broke passing the 400 metres losing its chance.
