Trainer T Mitchell advised Stewards in accordance with Rule 403(2)(m) that CULLIES DELIGHT (Race 4) had scanned positive and would be racing in foal.

No claims were lodged for OUR SOUTHERN MAN.
KASHIN over-raced badly in the middle stages.
LACROIX FRANCO which was racing three back on the inner, commenced to hang badly near the 900 metres and then broke passing the 800 metres checking KASHIN which lost approximately 6 lengths, with SPEAK UP being inconvenienced briefly. A warning was placed against the racing manners of LACROIX FRANCO.
KASHIN was then held up briefly on straightening for the run home.

Trainers F Cooney & T Hopkins were charged a $25.00 colour fee for GOTTA GO ELECTOBET.
CHARMING DESIRE was held up early in the run home.
SHARDON'S SHERALEE was held up for clear running until near the 50 metres.

B Mangos (BETTOR LOVE ME) dropped his right foot from the sulky foot-rest early in the run home when attempting to activate gear.

There were no claims lodged for DRAGON LADY.
DRAGON LADY lay in rounding the bend near the 1350 metres striking several pylons and then again at the 300 metres.
Driver S Phelan advised that he did not activate the deafeners on the winner CHOSEN PATH due to having the field covered.

BETTER B AMAZED lay in and contacted several pylons on the home turn.
 
Race 6 TAB CAMBRIDGE MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
ELDOLAR broke entering the first turn but soon settled. A warning was placed on the racing manners of this gelding.
MAX PHACTOR commenced to race fiercely approaching the 400 metres and was held up on the back of ROCKNROLL LEGEND until obtaining clear running when entering the passing lane near the 200 metres.
BUTE BOY paced roughly rounding the final bend.
 
Race 7 MASTER JOINERS WAIKATO/BAY OF PLENTY MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
YANKEE BRANDY hung out badly in the score-up and over the initial stages.
ART I SPECIAL was inclined to hang out during the middle stages.
VIEWFIELD APACHE over-raced in the middle stages while trailing the leader.
 
Race 8 GOLD ACE AT NEVELE R STUD JUNIOR DRIVERS MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
SOLDIER which started in Race 2 earlier this evening, underwent a veterinary examination prior to this event and was cleared to start.
An investigation was held into an incident leaving the back straight the final time where PLATINUM POKER (T Lethaby) paced roughly for several strides after contacting the sulky of SHARDS PHOENIX (D Ferguson). After hearing the relative evidence and viewing the replays it was established that PLATINUM POKER had hung out on entering the turn resulting in the contact with SHARDS PHOENIX which was racing tight to its outside. Given the circumstances no further action was deemed necessary.
