STEAL A GRIN which tended to over-race when outside the leader during the middle stages commenced to tire from the 500 metres to finish at the rear. Driver S Abernethy advised that STEAL A GRIN had over-raced badly after contacting its own sulky wheel during the running and as a result was a spent force leaving the back straight the last time and was not persevered with. | |
