ITS OSCAR broke briefly at the start.
LA MAITRE DIX broke entering the first turn losing considerable ground and settled at the rear of the field.
ALLINGHAM trotted unevenly throughout the run home.
MAKAREWA JAKE broke after the winning post.
THANKS SHANE was removed from the unruly list for standing starts.

APASSIONATO broke briefly passing the 1900 metres.
URBAN TIGER broke approaching the 200 metres losing its chance.
An investigation was held into the breaking of URBAN TIGER. URBAN TIGER (B Mangos) was racing to the inside of BETTOR THINK QUICK (J Dickie) and to the outside of ZANIBAR BABE (D Butcher). Mr Mangos explained that his horse was inclined to lay in and when attempting to keep the horse out away from ZANIBAR BABE it broke free of interference. A warning was placed on this colt's racing manners.
 
Race 3 STREAMLINE FREIGHT HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
No claims were lodged for YALDY BOYZ.
VENTIMIGLIA broke shortly after the start losing ground.
MOB STAR broke for a couple of strides at the start and trotted roughly resulting in it being slow away.
DONNY WOOD broke passing the 2400 metres.
DONNY WOOD trotted unevenly on occasions throughout the running.
OPAWA SPEED over-raced in the middle stages when racing one out without cover and pulled fiercely to race to the lead with 600 metres to run.
 
Race 4 GOLD ACE AT NEVELE R STUD MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
There was a 2 minute delay to the start of this race when BETTABE PERFECT required a sulky change.
CONCORDE broke passing the 1800 metres, the gelding veered outwards after resenting being restrained off the back of TUAPEKA SKY. CONCORDE settled at the rear of the field. A warning was placed on CONCORDE's racing manners.
KILLER QUEEN (favourite) gave ground inside the final 700 metres with a post-race veterinary examination revealing the filly has suffered an atrial fibrillation. A veterinary certificate of fitness and ECG clearance will be required before KILLER QUEEN resumes racing.
ALOTBETTOR raced in restricted room over the concluding stages with driver A Donnelly reporting she did not activate the removable deafeners.
TUAPEKA SKY shifted ground outward in an attempt to find clear racing room over the latter stages of the run home.
S Abernethy reported he was unable to activate the removable deafeners on BOURBON STREET.
A post-race veterinary examination of CONCORDE revealed a slight swelling in its right-fore cannon for which it received veterinary care.
 
Race 5 CAMERON SHAW 18TH BIRTHDAY HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
No claims were lodged for MOMENT OF TRUTH.
The start was delayed when REALMEIN reared and got over the 30 metre barrier strand on two occasions. A warning was placed on the standing start manners of this gelding.
REGAL PETITE broke free of interference passing the 250 metres losing its chance.
AL BUNDY broke after the winning post when in tight quarters inside of IDLE BONES, REALMEIN and CHARLEMAGNE.
ANY OLD WAY returned to the enclosure with blood present in both nostrils. A post-race veterinary examination declaring this horse a bleeder with a 30 day stand down imposed under Rule 213(1)(i). A veterinary certificate of fitness is required before this horse resumes racing.

EYECATCHER FIRE hung in and paced unevenly over the early stages.
GANGES compounded over the latter stages of the race finishing well back. The connections were warned to improve this gelding's race performance.

IDEAL SUCCESS broke shortly after the start losing ground.
IDEAL SUCCESS broke again approaching the 400 metres. A warning was placed on this gelding's racing manners.

AMBRO COURAGE lay in when weakening rounding the final bend striking the pylons, impeding ROYAL TAZ which was held up until entering the straight for the run home.

SOUTH COASTER broke for a few strides at the start.
SIR HENRY CASTLETON broke at the start losing considerable ground, breaking again uncontrollably at the 1800 metres for nearly a lap. A warning was placed on this gelding's racing manners.
VALLE DE LA LUNA broke approaching the first turn losing ground.
CLOVER CHANCE broke inside the 500 metres with SOUTH COASTER and VALLE DE LA LUNA breaking when taking evasive action.

KASHIN, after leading over the early and middle stages, gave ground from the 400 metres to finish well back. Junior Driver T Lethaby with the assistance of Senior Driver S Abernethy was reprimanded for using his whip on KASHIN when out of contention.
