HEZA CLASSIC ACT lacked speed from behind the mobile gate and lost contact with the main body of the field over the early stages. This gelding was inclined to lay out throughout the running.

RUBY CASTLETON broke at the start.
GINTARAS broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
LA MAITRE DIX broke rounding the first bend.
DAUNTLESS broke approaching the 1400 metres resulting in the trailing LA MAITRE DIX taking evasive action and going into a break.
MEANDER WITH PEGASUS commenced to give ground passing the 600 metres.
MOB STAR (winner) shifted ground outwards throughout the run home.
Junior Horseman J. MacKinnon was reminded of his obligations in regard to RUBY CASTLETON's unruly barrier position. RUBY CASTLETON, which was fractious, started on the tape instead of being a length back from it.
Driver B. Edwards was shown the video coverage of DAUNTLESS galloping passing the 1400 metres and reminded of his obligation to take the gelding clear of the field when in an incorrect gait.
THIS SKY ROX contacted track markers rounding the final bend.
Driver S. Lawson was warned to make a greater effort to not make contact with track markers rounding the home bend when driving THIS SKY ROX.
 
Race 4 LANE NEAVE MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
DEFY THE ODDS lacked early speed and lost contact with the main body of the field over the early stages.
MISS DAISY raced keenly approaching the 1000 metres.
Rounding the bend passing the 900 metres FRANCO NIKAU paced roughly and then broke free of interference at the 700 metres after being eased wider on the track by RISK. A warning was placed on the racing manners record of FRANCO NIKAU.
Driver J. Dunn was shown the video coverage of the start and warned to maintain his barrier position one on the second line with MISS DAISY.
 
Race 5 SUMMERSET FALLS RETIREMENT VILLAGE MOBILE TROT Video  Video 
LEANNE'S BOY broke shortly after the start losing its chance.
MOMENT OF TRUTH was inclined to lay in rounding the bends and contacted pylons passing the 1400 metres.
RARE OPPORTUNITY broke inside the 400 metres.
SUNOFLINDENNY broke passing the 250 metres.
 
Race 6 HFC GROUP MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
ART I SPECIAL broke passing the 250 metres. This gelding was stood down for 14 days up to and including 7th August 2015.
Driver J. Dunn momentarily dislodged his foot from the sulky footrest in the run home when attempting to activate gear on RETURN TO SENDER.
RETURN TO SENDER (favourite) was improved to race one out without cover from inside the 1200 metres and proceeded to over-race, weakening in the run home to finish in 5th placing, 5.2 lengths in arrears of the winner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Driver J. Dunn confirmed RETURN TO SENDER had over-raced and that this was the gelding's undoing.

CYCLONE KIWI lay in and paced roughly rounding the first bend.
BETTOR SPIRITS failed to get clear racing room inside the last 100 metres. Driver P. Butcher reported that he did not activate the removable deafeners on this colt.
Driver S. Phelan advised that the removable deafeners on FIRST HOME did not activate despite his efforts passing the 200 metres.
 
Race 8 IGNITE ARCHITECTS MOBILE TROT Video  Video 
KOWHAI MONARCH was a length out of position at the start.
IDLE EYRE, after over-racing in the middle stages, was improved from the rear racing down the back straight the last time and trotted unevenly shifting wider on the track to be approximately five wide.
ALL ROYAL GAL contacted pylons rounding the home bend.
ALLINGHAM was held up over the early stages of the run home.

EYE BROW pulled hard racing down the back straight the final time.

SPEAK UP paced roughly rounding the final bend.
ZAKSPATROL was held up in the early stages of the run home, having to shift ground outwards to obtain clear running passing the 100 metres.
