Trainer K Barron has advised Stewards that following the filly's disappointing run at Addington last Friday, LIVADIA will now be sent for a spell.

Race 1 PLAY ADDINGTON123.COM YOUNG AT HEART (HEAT 3) MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
BILLY THE BUS over-raced in the early and middle stages then hung outwards throughout.
BILLY THE BUS which was hanging outwards made the bend awkwardly passing the 1000 metres.
Following the race the bit on BILLY THE BUS was found to have slipped through the gelding's mouth. Trainer M Swain advised he would be making gear changes prior to BILLY THE BUS racing again.
Stewards questioned Junior Horseman M Purvis regarding the performance of GRADUATE UNDER FIRE with Mr Purvis advising GRADUATE UNDER FIRE had over-raced through the early stages and this had taken its toll over the latter stages of the race.
STANS DAY was subjected to a post-race veterinary examination after the gelding was found to have blood in a nostril after the race. This examination confirmed that STANS DAY had bled. STANS DAY was subsequently stood down for the mandatory 30 days and must complete a satisfactory trial prior to resuming.
 
Race 2 SEARELLS BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT & CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS TROT Video  Video 
CHIVASION, MOY, DUSKY EYRE and PRECIOUS MOMENT broke at the start or in the early stages with CHIVASION, DUSKY EYRE and PRECIOUS MOMENT failing to settle for a considerable distance losing any realistic chance.
ROCKET was slow to begin from the unruly position.
Nearing the 100 metres SQUIRE JOHN (P Wakelin) which was trotting roughly broke which resulted in the trailing EARLY INVASION (K O'Connor) having to check off that runner with EARLY INVASION stumbling for a few strides. BORDEAUX also had to be steadied in this incident when being placed in restricted room.
NATIVES BRITE GEM trotted roughly over the concluding stages.
MOY slipped its crupper during the running and was retired from the event by driver I Schwamm.
 
Race 3 BRECKON FARMS MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
The removable deafeners on REAL SOCIAL activated prior to the start with the gelding racing greenly in the score up.
DREAMY DAMIEN paced roughly shortly after the start and through the early stages. DREAMY DAMIEN then raced three wide without cover before being restrained to the back of the field near the 1500 metres.
REAL SOCIAL broke for a few strides when racing near the back of the field passing the 1300 metres.
MONGOLIAN ARCHER made the bend awkwardly near the 1100 metres.
REAL SOCIAL was held up through the middle stages of the run home.
Stewards lodged a Protest against third placing being awarded to DREAMY DAMIEN alleging it had started from the incorrect barrier position. After hearing evidence from the Stewards, horseman B Butt and trainer A Garters, the JCA dismissed the Protest. Driver B Butt admitted a subsequent breach of Rule 862(2) in that he allowed DREAMY DAMIEN to start from the outside of the front line instead of the correct unruly position and he was fined $300 by the JCA.
 
Race 4 TREVINOS RESTAURANT & BAR GOLDEN GIRLS (HEAT 2) MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
PERISSA hung inwards rounding the first bend.
When being challenged for the lead passing the 1400 metres CHRISTIAN LADY commenced to over-race.
Passing the 900 metres the leader CHRISTIAN LADY brushed a pylon which was then dislodged by the trailing CULLENS LADY. SWISS LASS then broke after striking the dislodged pylon.
With approx 100 metres to run CHRISTIAN LADY (P McClelland) shifted outwards when being driven out resulting in FERNLEIGH HANNAH being placed in restricted room. Driver P McClelland was warned to ensure he maintains a straight line in the home straight. He was also warned for the manner in which he had used his whip.
When questioned regarding the performance of favoured runner FERNLEIGH HANNAH trainer/driver J Cox advised that he did not believe the mare had backed up from her run the previous week.
 
Race 5 THE TYRE GENERAL MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
The rein pricker was removed from BETTA GO FERNCO prior to the start after the filly warmed up unfavourably.
KOTARE MAHDI had to be restrained through the early stages and commenced to over-race.
COYOTE and KOTARE MAHDI broke passing the 1600 metres.
COURTNEY JOHN was inconvenienced by the breaking COYOTE at the 1600 metres.
LUCKY LUCIANO raced keenly when being challenged for the lead passing the 1400 metres.
BETTA GO FERNCO made the bend awkwardly near the 1100 metres and raced greenly.
KOTARE MAHDI again broke at the 900 metres. A warning was placed on the racing record of KOTARE MAHDI.
BETTA GO FERNCO raced greenly again and hung outwards approaching the 300 metres.
Stewards questioned driver R May regarding the performance of NEVERTHELESS. Mr May advised that NEVERTHELESS had worked hard during the race but had disappointed. The connections advised that NEVERTHELESS would be sent for a spell prior to resuming racing.
 
Race 6 DARREN DEFILIPPI MEMORIAL HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
There was a delay to the start when BROOKSIDE COLT was reluctant to come into position.
PRICE OF FAME broke at the start losing its chance.
PAMMYS BOY broke shortly after the start and failed to settle for a considerable distance.
Racing into the first bend STAR COMMANDO broke with this runner also taking a considerable amount of time to settle.
WILLIAM LANCE raced four and five wide from the 800 metres and broke rounding the final bend.
ARRAN CHIEF hung just prior to the home straight.
BROOKSIDE COLT was held up in the early and middle stages of the run home before angling wider on the track for clear racing room.
GALLEONS ROYALE broke when improving into the passing lane at the 200 metres.
Driver J Young advised that the removable hood did not activate when she attempted to remove it on the winner ARRAN CHIEF.
 
Race 7 BACKED BY BDO MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
CALLENBERG paced roughly as the start was effected.
NUI TOC TIEN and WESTERN ART were held up on the final bend.
Stewards requested a veterinary examination of CALLENBERG after the gelding had disappointed. This examination revealed no abnormalities. The connections advised they would have blood tests taken in the coming days and would notify Stewards of any abnormalities.
 
Race 8 FAHEY FENCE HIRE FFA MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
PAY ME ART raced greenly after passing the 1000 metres.
UNCLE BEN was held up on the final bend.
 
Race 9 UNITED VIDEO MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
Trainer M Larter was issued a minor infringement notice and fined $100 for presenting MISS JUDGEFORD with blinds which had not been notified.
EH EF EL was slightly back off the gate at dispatch point despite the effort of driver B Orange.
THE LION'S ROAR raced keenly through the middle stages of the race.
EH EF EL hung rounding the final bend.
