Driver M Edmonds admitted a breach of 869(2)(a) in that he used his whip in an excessive manner over the concluding stages while driving JUDYS MCARDLE. After hearing submissions on penalty the JCA suspended Mr Edmonds's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including the 3rd July 2015. | |

CRUSADER BROMAC paced roughly throughout the running and struggled to maintain its position with the field from the 600 metres with the connections advising the gelding would now be retired. | |

Passing the 150 metres MILLWOOD CHARITY (M Prendergast) struck the wheel of MILLWOOD LANOCH (B Orange) and tangled when being improved outwards to make a run. Driver M Prendergast defended a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly at this stage of the race. After hearing evidence from Mr Prendergast and the Stewards the JCA upheld the breach and imposed a fine of $300.00. | |
The two minute strap came adrift during the running on ZENA MAC. | |
Driver M Edmonds (RED RIVER LOCHEE) was warned for using his whip outside the confines of the sulky. | |

JEAN SEBASTIEN trotted roughly when improving wide rounding the final bend. | |
When questioned regarding the performance of CLEAN BREAK trainer/driver R Holmes explained that in his opinion the gelding had failed to back up from the first day. Mr Holmes requested that CLEAN BREAK be treated by the on course Veterinarian for a small laceration on its off side hind cannon area. | |

CHAPEL LANE tired rounding the final bend after racing in the parked position throughout. | |
CONTRACTUAL ISSUES was held up rounding the final bend by the tiring TILLY BROMAC. | |
Driver J Cox (EXPRESSIVE VICTOR) dropped his foot momentarily when activating the removable deafeners near the 200 metres. | |

When questioned regarding the performance of FERNLEIGH HANNAH driver R May said in his opinion the mare hadn't backed up from the first day. | |

First place being awarded to LILAC DESIRE was withheld until Stewards questioned driver G Smith (NAUGHTY MARAVU) in relation to lodging a protest against the winner alleging interference at the 200 metres. Mr Smith advised he had been beaten for the run by LILAC DESIRE and due to the gelding travelling well became awkwardly positioned to the inside of LILAC DESIRE having to be steadied resulting in NAUGHTY MARAVU shifting inside several markers. NAUGHTY MARAVU was then held up over the concluding stages. After hearing from Mr Smith placings were duly authorised. | |
