Race 1 FRANKLIN PARK YEARLING PARADE SAT 11 JULY MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
SAFINS WARRIOR broke approaching the first turn with DREAM TO SHARE, which was in behind, also breaking when attempting to take evasive action. Driver J. Stormont (DREAM TO SHARE) advised, when questioned, that his gelding had failed to respond to him when attempting to take evasive action and contributed to its own breaking.
An information was lodged charging Driver Z. Butcher (SAFINS WARRIOR - 5th place) under Rule 868(3) on the grounds that he failed to drive his horse out to the end of the race when he had a reasonable chance of running 4th. The charge was admitted and the J.C.A. imposed a fine of $300.00.
 
Race 2 BAYLEYS COROMANDEL MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
DEFY THE ODDS paced roughly and broke passing the 400 metres inconveniencing trailing runners. Driver J. Stormont advised that DEFY THE ODDS had galloped after contacting its own sulky wheel with its near hind after he had activated the deafeners and that he had recommended to Trainer R.J. Dunn that the gelding be placed further out in the cart for future races.
 
Race 3 COROMANDEL FM TROT Video  Video 
THE CROWN JEWELS broke at the start, losing considerable ground.
LANDORA'S GIRL broke shortly after the start.
LADY J hung inward after the start and rounding the first bend.
PAUL AMOUR hung inward rounding the first bend and broke passing the 1900 metres losing its chance.
YANKEE DOODLE DANDY weakened from inside the last 500 metres.
LADY J trotted roughly and could not be driven out to full advantage, breaking after the finishing line.
LANDORA'S GIRL was declared unruly for stands at the trainers request.
 
Race 4 POWELL TRANSPORT LTD MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
SHEZA SPRINGFIELD over-raced for the majority of the event when caught four back on the running line.
TWOANDAHALF TIGERS was held up in the early stages of the run home.
 
Race 5 H R FISKEN & SONS LTD MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
JOANEDNOBETTOR and ROCKER BAND locked wheels entering the final straight, with these runners losing all chance. As a result the removable deafeners were not activated on JOANEDNOBETTOR and ROCKER BAND.
 
Race 6 FRANKLIN LONG ROOFING LTD HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
STAR FILLY was slow away.
CHOSEN PATH broke approaching the first bend.
MAKAREWA JAKE broke entering the first turn, breaking again briefly approaching the 1700 metres. This gelding weakened rounding the final bend impeding the progress of TORBJORN.
SUMMER VACATION was held up rounding the final turn and received clear racing room inside the last 80 metres.
An information was lodged under Rule 869(3)(b) alleging that Junior Driver B. Butcher (DJOKOVIC) drove carelessly entering the first turn by shifting his horse inwards when not sufficiently clear, which resulted in MAKAREWA JAKE being tightened down over a marker peg with that runner breaking and losing ground. The charge was admitted and the J.C.A. imposed a fine of $250.00.

BRYDON DELIGHT broke at the start but soon settled.
 
Race 8 TRUCKS & TYRES RACE NIGHT FRI 17 JULY MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
RUSSIAN ALSU weakened over the latter stages. Trainer M. Collins advised that the mare felt flat throughout the running and that he would be turning it out for a spell.

Trainer D. Balle was issued with a Minor Infringement and fined $100.00 for presenting IDLE EYRE to race with half hopples which were not notified.
ALTA VENETIA broke briefly shortly after the start losing ground.
MOB STAR was slow away.
IDLE EYRE trotted unevenly on numerous occasions.
ALTA VENETIA broke passing the 400 metres.
IDLE EYRE, which was trotting unevenly, failed to run the journey out. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer/Driver D. Balle advised that IDLE EYRE hung throughout the journey.
