Race 1 GJ GARDNER HOMES TROT Video  Video 
EYRE'S A RAG DOLL, CONALL CERNACH and DUCHESSE DE L'AMOUR broke at the start.
DIAMOND DRAGON broke racing into the first bend losing ground.
SNOOP DOG broke near the 2300 metres.
Racing into the bend near the 1900 metres CICADA JENERIK broke.
GREY FERNCO weakened passing the 800 metres. When questioned regarding the run of this mare trainer / driver N Williamson advised he was disappointed by the effort which he could only put down to the prevailing track conditions. Stewards ordered a post-race veterinary examination of GREY FERNCO which revealed no apparent abnormalities.
 
Race 2 KEV JARVIS BUILDERS MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
EJA PATRON broke in the score up and failed to settle losing considerable ground.
DEVINE CULLECT over raced through the middle stages.
FRANCO NOIRE had some difficulty obtaining clear racing room through the early and middle stages of the run home.
Driver AFH Hunter (BAD LOVER BOY) dropped his foot from the sulky footrest in the early stages of the run home and was reminded by the Stewards to make a greater effort in future to return his foot to the sulky footrest in a more timely manner.
When questioned regarding the performance of ALTAR EGO trainer D Trainor advised he was disappointed with the gelding's effort and he would consider making changes to its training regime prior to returning the gelding to the races.
 
Race 3 THE PARK FUNCTION CENTRE MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
ROBYN'S BAD BOY was out of position at the dispatch point despite the efforts of driver C Ferguson. Notwithstanding his efforts Mr Ferguson was issued with a caution for allowing his gelding to shift inwards prior to the start.
Racing into the first bend BETTA GO FERNCO broke and shifted outwards abruptly locking wheels with FIREBREAK and severely hampering that gelding. In consequence to this both runners lost considerable ground and SCHWARTZ DENARIO was forced to shift wider on the track. When questioned regarding the manners of his filly driver N Williamson explained that BETTA GO FERNCO had been uncomfortable in the track conditions. A warning was however placed on the racing record of BETTA GO FERNCO.
SCHWARTZ DENARIO raced wide until the 1500 metres with driver D Dunn advising that after receiving a check in the early stages the filly had caused him some steering difficulty thereafter.
JUSTA DALE over raced throughout the middle stages.
BOLD RULER lay inwards throughout the final straight and had to be straightened on occasion by driver P Hunter.
 
Race 4 DUNEDIN HOLIDAY PARK MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
SUZIE'S GEM raced greenly soon after dispatch and when doing so shifted inwards crowding VERA MAC who then locked wheels with MELINA LOWE. As a result of this VERA MAC broke and lost its chance and was eventually pulled up from the running with broken gear. SUZIE'S GEM which was restrained immediately after shifting ground also broke inconveniencing SNOW RAKER and JUSTAN'S SISTER. A warning was placed on the barrier record of SUZIE'S GEM.
Racing past the 1900 metres MR HANDLEMAN which was racing lethargically shifted outwards and contacted SUZIE'S GEM which was still galloping and hanging inwards.
MELINA LOWE hung inwards in the early stages of the run home causing JETSDREAM to become awkwardly positioned for several strides.
ELLE KO had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the early stages of the final straight.
PACIFIC HILIGHT and JUSTAN'S SISTER were unable to gain clear racing room throughout the run home with driver R McIlwrick (JUSTAN'S SISTER) advising has was not afforded the opportunity to activate the removable deafeners on the filly.
 
Race 5 STUNIN CULLEN GOLDEN GIRLS OTAGO SERIES (HEAT 3) MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
The connections of STYLISH BABE advised the mare would be racing today without front plates.
ELLNBAC was back off the gate at the dispatch point despite the efforts of driver B McLellan. When questioned regarding this B McLellan advised the mare was unsuited by the prevailing track conditions and had raced roughly as a result.
INCREDIBLE ANVIL raced roughly for several strides in the early stages.
ELLNBAC raced roughly over the final stages.
 
Race 6 KEEP IT CLEAN PACE Video  Video 
O'GARA broke at the start losing considerable ground.
STRAIGHT THRU BLUE broke in the early stages and lost ground.
DIAMOND KING had to be restrained near the 1300 metres due to the gelding hanging inwards.
STANLEY ROSS ROBYN broke passing the 900 metres inconveniencing TARANTO, DIAMOND KING and STRAIGHT THRU BLUE who all had to be steadied. When questioned regarding this gelding breaking trainer / driver AFH Hunter advised the first starter had panicked when racing greenly however in his opinion would derive benefit from today's outing.
HEZ ONLY THE LONELY shifted outwards under pressure in the early stages of the run home.
 
Race 7 RICOH HANDICAP PACE Video  Video 
FOR THE GOODTIMES, LIAM SIENNA and ROME all broke at the start.
ROME weakened passing the 900 metres. When questioned regarding the gelding's performance driver B Williamson could offer no tangible explanation other than to advise he was disappointed with the effort over the final 900 metres. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the gelding. Connections advised ROME would now be retired as a racing proposition.
When questioned regarding the performance of JACCKA MARA driver N Williamson advised he was disappointed with the effort and could only attribute it to the gelding being unsuited by the prevailing track conditions.
 
Race 8 WASHINGTON VC MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
LUCKY LANDS over raced in the score up and over the early stages.
RORY MACH raced keenly in the middle stages.
RAPID MACH paced roughly throughout the event with the gelding eventually breaking near the 500 metres. When questioned regarding the performance of RAPID MACH driver D Dunn could offer no tangible explanation other than to advise the gelding may have been unsuited by the track conditions. Stewards ordered a post-race veterinary examination of the gelding which revealed no apparent abnormalities.
 
Race 9 PRYDES EASIFEED HANDICAP PACE Video  Video 
SHAK'N CULLEN broke at the start.
 
Race 10 SPEIGHTS HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
WHITNEY was examined and cleared by the Club Vet prior to racing since it had not competed since the 25th of April 2014.
YGRITTE broke at the start and lost considerable ground.
On the bend near the 2300 metres ANOTHERSUPERSTAR broke.
FILIGREE SHEREE broke near the 500 metres.
ZHENYA broke passing the 300 metres.
When questioned with regards to the performance of VALMAGNE driver C Kennett advised he was disappointed with effort however felt the combination of starting from the 50 metre handicap and the prevailing track conditions today had taken its toll on the gelding.
No claims were received from this event for WHITNEY.
 
Race 11 FORBURY PARK CLAIMERS SERIES (HEAT 4) MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
When questioned regarding the performance of HI GUN co-trainer G Knight advised he was disappointed however could offer no explanation. Mr Knight undertook to advise the Stewards should anything come to light in the coming days which may have contributed to the poor effort today.
No claims were received for any runners from this event.
 
Race 12 JUST ESSENCE CATERING MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
The favourite MOONDYNE JOE was caught wide through the early stages before being restrained to near the back of the field.
Near the 700 metres MOONDYNE JOE raced roughly and had to be restrained by driver B Barclay.
LEAVE IT TO ME was held up on the final bend.
The over check on TISBURY HARDLIFE came loose during the running.
