| A Minor Infringement Notice was issued and a $50.00 fine imposed on Trainer R Dunn for the late notification of the change of gear for MISS DAISY, the filly raced without the notified pacifier. | |

| BLUE EYED CREATION and HAPPY TO GO contested the lead rounding the first bend. BLUE EYED CREATION , when racing on the outside of HAPPY TO GO, paced roughly and momentarily hung in resulting in the front legs of HAPPY TO GO being contacted by the sulky wheel of BLUE EYED CREATION. BLUE EYED CREATION weakened from inside the 600 metres finishing well back. A post-race veterinary examination of BLUE EYED CREATION revealed no abnormalities. Drivers S. Lawson (BLUE EYED CREATION) and S. Phelan (HAPPY TO GO) were questioned and Stewards reviewed the video coverage. No action was taken other than to place a warning on the racing manners record of BLUE EYED CREATION. | |
| Driver J. Dickie was cautioned in regard to contacting pylons and allowing the wheel of his sulky to protrude inside the marker line prior to the entrance to the passing lane with MAJESTIC JOHN. | |
