Race 1 SIMS PACIFIC METALS FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
GOTTA GO ELECTOBET lay in and contacted pylons entering the home straight.
KILLER QUEEN (favourite) raced three deep on the running line, improved four wide on the home bend and only battled in the run home to finish 6th. Driver S. Lawson advised that the filly did not show her usual gate speed and when in a position to improve rounding the home bend failed to run on. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
 
Race 2 DUNSTAN HORSE FEEDS HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
GINTARAS and MOB STAR both broke at the start.
ROCK TONIGHT broke shortly after the start settling quickly.
ROCK TONIGHT broke again rounding the first turn.
GINTARAS broke near the 1300 metres.
The authorisation of 1st placing was withheld until Stewards had confirmed that ROCK TONIGHT had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations.
 
Race 3 GOTTA GO CULLEN MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
BETTORS POCKET hung and paced unevenly during the score up.
ZACH MAGUIRE was inclined to over-race in the early and middle stages.
EYE BROW was held up in the middle and late stages of the run home. Driver P. Butcher advised that he was unable to activate the removable deafeners.

No claims were lodged for MOMENT OF TRUTH.
JASINSKY refused to move forward to its correct barrier position at the start and was approximately 15 metres out of position. A warning was placed on this mare's standing start manners.
PHIL'S FOLLY broke at the start.
VERY PERSUASIVE also galloped away at the start but then pulled up on the track shortly after the start and refused to move for a considerable period of time, losing its chance. A warning was placed on this mare's racing manners record.
JASINSKY broke passing the 1150 metres, settling quickly toward the rear of the field.

Trainer S. Reid and S. McMullan were charged a $25.00 colour fee for UNFORGIVING.
SHE'S SMOOTH paced roughly when attempting to cross to the lead racing into the first bend.
CHEVRONS CHAMPION hung rounding the first bend contacting a pylon and over-raced over the early stages. This filly weakened over the latter stages finishing well back. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

STARS STAR was inclined to lay in rounding the bends.
Junior Driver M. Neilson advised that she was unable to activate the removable deafeners on ELLIOT DANIEL due the pin on the release cord breaking.

GETAWAY DOUG and KD HALL were both slow away.
OUR SUPER RAM broke passing the 600 metres.
REVENUE MAKER broke inside the 400 metres.
OUR DAINTY LADY was held up early in the final straight.
 
Race 8 LONE STAR RICCARTON YOUNG DRIVERS CHAMPS MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
SHARDS PHOENIX hung and broke in the score up recovering to take its place at the start. This mare over-raced in the middle stages.
WONDER ANVIL gave ground over the concluding stages finishing well back. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

ALLINGHAM trotted roughly rounding the first bend before breaking approaching the 1700 metres.
TWELVE MONKEYS broke passing the 1700 metres.
